ose to the church I was getting married in. I had somewhat specific ideas as to what I wanted in wedding flowers and the person here was NO help whatsoever. When I asked for suggestions I was just told that my decisions were fine and everything I liked could be ordered. In the long run it was fine because I picked what flowers I really wanted, but it bothered me because I expected some type of guidance from a seasoned florist and got absolutely none. On top of not being helped in decision making I was also told a certain flower I wanted could not be purchased because it wasn't in season. After calling around to other places (who could get them) I asked if he was sure and was told he needed to wait on the grower to be certain. After more than a month of not hearing back I decided to go some place else to get just those specific flowers. When I called to let them know I had ordered just bulk flowers (since I was told many times I couldnt get them at Olde Towne) I was then told they were already ordered on my behalf.. EVEN though my understanding for over a month was that they could not be purchased. I told the owner that I could cancel my order because I had not paid in full at the other florist, but he insisted that I continue my other order. I thought this was strange because he was not only pushing business away but because I was already told he had them ordered. All in all this was a HORRIBLE experience. The flowers weren't anything to wail about, but they werent horrible. I was just completely unsatisified at the way I was treated and how uncaring a small business owner could be --ESPECIALLY during these economic times. I'm sure whatever niche he has developed will continue to provide for him for many years (and that is truly wonderful) but I would seriously not recommend going here unless you want a very unnecessary headache.
