My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Jared, and my grandmother was disappointed, as she didn't think it was fancy enough. As a result, she gifted me her 2nd set of wedding rings from my grandfather. They were a little beat up, soldered t...ogether and were made of yellow and white gold. She took me to Prenger's to have the rings separated, they cut the yellow gold bands off, and attached white gold. All of the work was done within a week, and cost very, very little for the excellent work and service provided. I LOVE their work, and will continue to make the 45 minute trek to use them as my jeweler.
