A wedding day for a couple is, at this point in their lives, the biggest and most important day. As a Wedding DJ, my goal is to be sure a couple has the experience of a lifetime. It's my mission to go above and beyond; to give incredible value and unprecedented service. I'm very good at getting guests on the dance floor. I know how to feel out the crowd and play the music that will get them up and keep them dancing! With all the worries a couple has, I try to make sure that when I'm hired, music is not one of them. I use top of the line Bose systems for the best sound quality. I have options to compliment DJ services that include dance floor lighting, photo backdrops with props, microphones (both wireless-handheld and lapel), officiating, and photography I would be thrilled to be trusted with your wedding entertainment. l communication! I provided a detailed song document to him two weeks out with explicit instructions and he followed it clearly! While I thought I knew it all in terms of "dance songs" and what Randy should play, Randy was in-tune with the crowd and used my song document to guide the type of music, but knew what to play to keep the party rolling with his expertise and experience. My only concern was the morning of the wedding he reached out with a couple of questions that one of my bridesmaids had to intervene on as I was getting ready, but things were quickly resolved and he ensured we had the BEST wedding ever. Seriously, everyone couldn't stop telling us how amazing the dancing/song choices and entertainment was. Thanks for making our day extraordinary, Randy!

y of he was taking our changes as they came and fit everything together perfectly. He was so energetic and interacted with everyone. He played every song we requested both before the wedding, and at the reception. He kept our timeline perfectly flowing, better than our actual coordinator. He and his wife Shari are both FANTASTIC people. They take your happiness on your wedding day personally, which is what makes them such a great addition to your wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about Randy and Shari Kasten!

Sadly, the line of communication was a very difficult one with Randy. I like to err on the side of patience and trust but in the end (1 month away from our ceremony) Randy made empty promise after empty promise in terms of getting updated paper...

At one point he told us his printer was broke and that's why he couldn't EMAIL us our updated contract (our previous one was signed pre-pandemic and needed updated info).
Randy seemed kind on the surface, but when we informed him of cancelling with him he got somewhat nasty with my Wife via text telling her she was the ONLY one who had an issue with needing a new contract everyone else was fine with using the one they signed before the pandemic. All we wanted was something updated and unfortunately, the more flakey Randy became with communication we became nervous that he may not even show to the wedding.
I am disappointed how our time with him ended and how sour his communication with us was at the end.
The TC Show came in short noticed and we were pleased with our results.

eep our guests on the dance floor on a chilly February night, played the requests our guests had, was flexible with our other vendors (bouquet toss had be get moved up a little via the photographer, and he was so chill about it!) and, probably the best, Randy made my dad's night (his words, not even the walk down the aisle compares haha) by playing "Sweet Home Chicago" and "Go Cubs Go"! My dad swore they wouldn't be able to play those being far from Chicago, but I knew Randy would make the magic happen for us! Their contact before, during, and after our wedding has been wonderful! I cannot thank them enough for providing an amazing night for us, (and at a price that even a park ranger-teacher couple could afford!) If you need a DJ for any occasion, Randy is your man for sure!

Randy has lived in Charleston for most of his life. He married his high school sweetheart and they settled down in West Ashley and raised their 5 children together! Randy has served hundreds of weddings in the Charleston area.
He loves living in Charleston. Working weddings in this historic city has given him the opportunity to see incredible sites and gain vast knowledge and experience!
