she said it wasn’t possible. Then she showed me a shade of brown and I categorically said no, that’s too dark. She said ok. She kept on saying the shade I wanted did not suit “my coloring”. She was not very friendly. Towards the end of it - it definitely looked like the color I specifically told her I didn’t want. But I said I’ll wait a week, maybe it’s the light. So basically my hair looked like my natural hair color (dark brown) and I had wasted $$$$. I called the salon and they said of course their policy is to fix your color for free if you’re not satisfied. But unfortunately I got my hair done by Andrea who is the most unprofessional hair colorist I have ever met. Andrea calls soon after, completely bulldozes me, keeps on throwing technical hair coloring techniques at me, to which I was like you never told me before the process started and how am I supposed to know. I am not the one who’s trained to do this. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and to top it off suggested I pay an additional $50. Do not recommend her for people who have dark or red hair. She has no idea what she’s doing. I found another hair colorist and I get compliments very frequently :) The color does in fact suit me and It all worked out for the best!
