I found Stephanie on a website called 'Thumbtack' and at the time was sooo desperate because I had had 3 photographers cancel on me and it was 5 days before my wedding!! She was very very helpful, jumped right on board, showed up on time, was ...very very friendly and easy going. She gave me a very fair rate and delivered my photos when she said she would. The only thing that was difficult for me is the fact that being the bride, I already had a lot to do, and she didn't bring any kind of suggested list or plan for pre-wedding photos with family and close friends, so myself, my brides maids, and family members had to speak up for the different picture groupings. There were not many ideas contributed either for poses for the groomsmen, bridesmaids, or wedding party. It was very frustrating for me because people kept looking to me for answers when I feel that is the job of the photographer. The other thing was I asked for a few poses and she wasn't mindful of extension cords in the shot, angling chairs, or visual distances to focus the eye in the exact photo. So a few of the poses I wanted did not come out as I had wanted, as I was trusting her to take my vision and help me create it. That being said, she was an absolute joy to work with, flexible, and the quality of her pictures were good. I would DEFINITELY hire her again, but would make sure there was more time, and that I was more specific about the things I wanted.
