aged bride her way because they will be in fantastic, kind and talented hands. We even purchased vintage accessories for the bridal party which was a delightful and unique find. Thank you for everything, Jessica, my time in the store was the first time I really felt like a bride.

ose a dress I never would have pulled off the rack-and it was perfect for me. The dress needed lots of alterations for fit-and I had a few ideas for additions- and Jessica Kidd altered it to perfection. I felt so comfortable, and so beautiful wearing it. I cannot say enough about how far above and beyond Jessica went to make my dress absolutely flawless. The entire experience from start to finish was incredible, so friendly, accommodating, and skillful. I recommend this shop so highly!

I chose to go to this store on whim after getting engaged on vacation on Cape Cod. This was a fun, easy, and unique way to find timeless dresses.

tyles I liked the most. She gave ideas for alterations. The dresses are all affordable between $250 - 450ish. They are organized by decade, from early 1900s to 2016. The website features some dresses, but the store has many options.
The only thing I will note is that I am a short and smaller, and there didn't seem to be a lot of vintage options - 70s and earlier - for taller/bustier/curvier women. There were many more options from 80s - modern day for all size brides.
Highly recommend for a unique, affordable, timeless gown with personalized experience and ideas for modern and expert alterations.

I have poked around at Vintage in Vogue for several years now and as soon as I got engaged there was only one place I wanted to look for a dress at. The store has a whole other section dedicated just to bridal gowns (and accessories). Maureen (...
the owner) stocks gowns from the 1880s-1980s, and she also sells new gowns that she feels fit in with what else she sells (and she purposely makes sure she has a selection of vintage and new gowns in larger sizes which I thought was wonderful).
After trying on a number of gowns (some admittedly were just for fun, like a 1930s silk gown with a 10 ft. train) and narrowing it down to the top 3 Maureen held those gowns for me so I could take a day and come back to make my final choice; there was no pressure or any you-must-buy-it-now-or-it-will-be-gone sales tactics. I chose a sweet 1950s dress that Maureen herself tailored to fit my body. This is a woman who knows her way around vintage and antique clothing so there was no way I would even think of taking my dress somewhere else to have altered.
After watching shows like Say Yes to the Dress for years you have an idea of what you think you can afford for a wedding gown...and you can throw those ideas out of the window here. I'm sure they're there but good luck finding a gown that costs over a grand, and these are pristine gowns not deteriorated moth-ball-smelling wrecks. I can't recommend Vintage in Vogue enough!
