Do not use this company. They do not have a business code of conduct, they don't understand customer service, and take no responsibility for their mistakes. They basically ruined my wedding and are refusing to pay for their damages. We were originally planning a 30 person wedding and the representative was very helpful. They have a very cool computer system that plots out tent size , tables, chairs, DJ, catering tables, and dance floor.
We called them two weeks prior to the wedding to tell them we were having 70 people. They said it was no problem and charged us for all the stuff but when they delivered things went south quick.
They took out our main AT&T cable when they were driving in with their trucks. The delivery men were very nice but did not speak much English and told us to the call the office.
Then once we were looking at the inventory we realized they only brought 12 out of the 50 champagne flutes we ordered.
We called the office and there was a voicemail that told us to call a special number because the office was closed over the Christmas to New Year season. I called the special number and left a message as directed and never heard back from anyone till after the wedding and the Manager showed up after they had already come back to pick up all the inventory.
In the meantime I was charged by my neighbor who shares the same ATT phone line. The neighbors wife lost 8 hours of wages due to the phone and internet being down and we had to pay them. We submitted the bill to Williams and just had the owner call and say he is refusing to pay for the bill as well as refusing to pay for the missing champagne flutes. We had to have our champagne toast out of wine glasses which look crazy in our wedding photos.
ATT billed Williams of course because they are at fault. Since there were so many witnesses they are paying ATT but won't pay us. The owner actually told me to go ahead and sue him. He had no compassion, no respect, and was very rude.
This place needs to be put out of business.
The most horrible wedding company ever. Do not use them!!!
I rented ballroom chairs from here for my wedding. I looked all over the Bay Area, and their chairs are in better condition than most other places. All renters, especially brides and grooms should look at the chairs before renting. They can be in very poor condition.
In terms of service, they are responsive, friendly and delivered the chairs on time. However, they charged me for a broken chair without showing proof of my fault and at an amount much more than the chair was worth. After spending a lot of money here and to be charged in this way to me is quite petty and greedy. If I were the person in charge, I would have just extended a courtesy credit and not even waste time asking for payment for one broken chair. Generating good will and reputation at such a small cost is also by far a much more sound business practice.
Would I use them again? I'm not sure. I think this is a good business with good people that delivered what was asked, but this kind of nickle-and-dime business practice is just not my taste.
We rented all of our tables, chairs, umbrellas, dance floor and food serving dishes from Williams. They were very informative and the delivery crew was helpfull.
They're fast, efficient and provide great customer service. Thank you!
Williams was fantastic with everything we needed. We used them both for the bridal shower and for the wedding. They make it so easy by having everything listed on their website and also displayed in their showroom. We had everything picked out online but decided to visit the showroom just to see everything in person. I'm glad we did because it gives you a better idea of how things will actually look. Their customer service was great and they accommodated all of our needs. They made it very easy and stress free for us.
We rented 100 white folding chairs ($2.50 each) for our indoor wedding and they were in good condition (though some were a little dirty). We had originally booked 125 chairs but they were great about us changing the order to 100 and just reimbursed us the difference. We mentioned Yelp and got an additional 15% off. They delivered on Friday and picked up on Monday, free of charge. There was however a $10 fuel charge. Other vendors I talked to charged $60 to delivery & pickup so this $10 is not much in comparison.
