Frequently asked questions
When should you send wedding thank you cards?
Wedding thank you cards should be sent within three months of your wedding date. For gifts received before the wedding, such as those sent to your home ahead of time or opened at a bridal shower, aim to send acknowledgment within two to three weeks of receiving them. The sooner you send them, the more personal and timely the gesture feels.
Who should receive a thank you card?
- Everyone who attended: Even if a guest didn't give a physical gift, you should thank them for making the trip and celebrating with you.
- Anyone who sent a gift: This includes people who were invited but couldn't attend, as well as vendors who gave you a personal gift.
- Pro-Tip: Use our Wedding Gift Tracker to organize your guest list, addresses, and gift details as they arrive.
