Experience
Jacqueline has more than 11 years of experience in the communications field, and five years of experience in the wedding industry. She started her writing career at the local newspaper near her alma mater. She later moved back home to Northern Virginia where she worked as a lifestyle reporter collecting fascinating stories from people in her town.
After six years in journalism, Jacqueline landed a job as a marketing manager for a Virginia wedding venue where she learned the detailed ins and outs of wedding planning. While there she wrote informative, wedding-related blog posts and managed the venue’s social media platforms. In 2022 she branched out on her own as a full-time freelance writer with a focus on writing blogs and website content for wedding pros.
Education
Jacqueline graduated from Bluefield University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in communications. While in college she interned at the local newspaper. She also wrote for the university’s newspaper and was an editor for its annual literary magazine.
