This historic venue located in downtown Wilmington has hosted celebrations since 1913. Once the headquarters of the DuPont Company, the hotel was inspired by Italian Renaissance architecture.

One of our favorite spaces at HOTEL DU PONT for a wedding shower is the Du Barry Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 100 guests. This space boasts elegance and grandeur with parquet floors, white pillars, lovely sconces, and a crystal chandelier imported from Yugoslavia. Celebrate in this stunning space and enjoy a custom menu prepared by the venue's world-class chefs.

The Edge 18 in Middletown, Delaware

The Edge 18 offers rustic charm with its spacious bridal shower venue near Newark, DE. Host your bridal shower in the bright ballroom, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood flooring and seating for up to 120 guests. Cozy up to the stone fireplace during a fall or winter shower.

In the warmer months, step outside on the wrap-around veranda right off from the ballroom. This space also includes tables and chairs if you want to take a portion of the celebration outdoors. The veranda boasts a lovely view of the 18-hole golf course near the venue.

Rockwood Carriage House in Wilmington, Delaware

Emma's Pond at Judge Morris Estate in Newark, Delaware

Part of White Clay Creek State Park, Emma's Pond at Judge Morris Estate is a peaceful location for a wedding shower. The 600-acre estate is home to lush landscapes, a fenced-in courtyard and a serene pond. Attorney and federal judge Hugh M. Morris lived in the home with his wife, Emma, who was instrumental in adding the pond to the estate.
