With seven years of wedding editorial experience, Lauren found her niche in bridal fashion and beauty. She is passionate about promoting an inclusive editorial environment so that every bride feels seen and represented in her content.

Lauren was born and raised in Central Florida, where she currently resides. When she’s not reading up on the latest bridal fashion and beauty trends, Lauren is actually busy planning her own wedding as a 2024 bride. Lauren enjoys listening to podcasts, going to Disney, visiting the spa, and watching her fiancé play drums in one of his local bands.

Experience

Lauren has known she wanted to work in the wedding industry for as long as she can remember. She grew up spending her time after school watching TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress and David Tutera’s My Fair Wedding. After graduating from college, Lauren quickly entered the world of wedding editorial as the Social Media Editor at Style Me Pretty and fell in love with getting to share beautiful love stories. She also served as a Pinterest social media editor for Brides and has worked independently with wedding businesses and bridal designers like Enaura Bridal and Essense brands.

Education

Lauren holds a bachelor's degree in public relations and advertising from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and graduated at the top of her class.

While in college, Lauren completed over 10 internships with Fortune 500 companies like The Walt Disney Company and NBCUniversal. During this time, she also worked with Grammy-award-winning artist, Andy Grammar and Food Network Star, Emily Ellyn.

Best advice for to-be-weds?

Decide what is the most important to you and make those vendors your priority from the beginning. Your favorite vendors book faster than you realize so reach out to them early, it will totally be worth it.

What's your all-time favorite wedding song?

I love a good crooner moment at a wedding. “The Way You Look Tonight” and “Fly Me to the Moon” just make everything feel so classy and sophisticated!

Dream celebrity wedding guest?

I think having the Fab 5 from Netflix’s Queer Eye would make for the best wedding reception ever! I would also love to see my fiancé’s reaction if Dave Matthews showed up at our wedding, his happiness would make me smile!

Best wedding after-party snack?

Get me a fast-food burger, fries and a milkshake and I am one happy girl! Oh, and a chocolate chip cookie too!
