We chose Helen Olivia for our wedding and couldn't have been happier! We worked specifically with Madison and she was so helpful with picking out the right kinds of flowers for our arrangements. We met with her in person once to go over our ideas, and she made note of everything in an online database that we also had access to. She added photos and other notes in there - it was so easy to envision what our wedding flowers would look like! There was also transparency in the pricing, which was helpful with our budget. All the flowers and candles at the ceremony and reception site were just stunning!!

Helen Olivia Flowers arranged the flowers for my wedding this past June, and they did an AMAZING job! I worked with Madison who was fantastic. They were one of the best vendors we dealt with in terms of ease of communications, responsiveness, personal service, and professionalism. The appointments were hassle-free and efficient. Madison was able to show me some spectacular flower designs and had great suggestions on colors and types of flowers. She is a true artist. I loved the way their proposals allowed me to visualize the flower arrangements. Everything was perfect including the wedding bouquet, the boutonieres, wedding cake, table centerpieces and altar arrangements. Many guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. I cannot say enough about them and would recommend Helen Olivia to anyone thinking of wedding flower arrangements!

I couldn't have been happier with the flowers from Helen Olivia. They did bouquets and bud vases for our wedding and the flowers were all big, beautiful blossoms, even more beautiful than I'd hoped for. They delivered the bouquets and bud vases to separate locations with plenty of time to spare, and made it easy to coordinate. They also were able to make an arrangement for my mom that I requested after my initial request and allowed me to pick it up separately. They are an absolute pleasure to work with and deliver stunning flowers!

I couldn't have been more thrilled with the flowers Helen Olivia did for our wedding. I had a pretty strict budget and Rachel and the team at Helen Olivia knocked it out of the park. They repurposed flowers between our ceremony and reception and everything looked beautiful. Our chuppah was covered in moss and greenery and looked like something out of a fairy tale. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the wedding was and how the flowers and greenery were a perfect compliment to the space. The team was a dream to work with and I can't recommend them more.

Elizabeth and her team did an amazing job for our wedding. The bouquets and the chuppah were stunning! I was also shocked that the bouquets lasted a week after the wedding. I was so happy with their work and contact throughout the process.

Classy, responsive, a winner! After one meeting with Helen Olivia Flowers' talented owner, Rachel Gang, my fiance and I were thrilled that she and her team fully got the look we were going for. Rachel's ability to translate our vision into a rich, elegant floral reality was a highlight of our wedding design. My bouquet was beyond my high expectations and many wedding guests commented on the beauty of the bouquets as well as the table centerpieces. Helen Olivia Flowers was amazing. They even were prepared with extra flowers, vases and bowls when we expanded the number of tables. Huge thanks for being the best wedding florist we can imagine!

I started working with Helen Olivia Floral about 10 months before my wedding and I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the DMV area! Rachel and Madison were great to work with and they did a beautiful job decorating our ceremony and reception at the Hotel Monaco in DC! We used them for centerpieces, bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, cocktail hour arrangements and more. And the flowers lasted for about a week after the wedding too! Gorgeous and detail work that made our wedding romantic, elegant and classy!

Rachel saved the day! She was so easy to work with and had a ton of ideas to make the centerpieces, bouquets, and outdoor decorations beautiful- no easy feat for a July wedding. I highly recommend Helen Olivia Flowers!

I really struggled with flowers for my wedding; it just overwhelmed me and I hated the idea that I would spend money on something I wasn't excited about that would get thrown away so quickly. I met with one florist in DC who didn't help put any of my concerns to rest and didn't give me any guidance. Then I met with Rachel and Madison at Helen Olivia on the recommendation of a friend who uses them frequently and suddenly I was excited about flowers. They immediately put me at ease, gave me thoughtful suggestions and ideas without pushing me into anything, worked with me on the budget I had, and coordinated with the church and reception venue. I ended up incredibly happy with absolutely stunning flowers and I'm so glad I used Helen Olivia. In addition to our wedding day flowers they also created a gorgeous arrangement my husband gave me when he proposed and they did the flowers for my wedding shower. I'm certain we will use them on a regular basis in the future. Go and meet with Helen Olivia Flowers in Old Town, they are friendly, great at what they do, can work with a variety of budgets, will take amazing care of you, and you will end up as happy as I am. Helen Olivia was fantastic to work with. Our wedding was extremely small (no attendants) with events split between a Wednesday and Friday. They did not shy away from a small order or odd days. And the flowers lasted beautifully throughout all of the events. Order as often as possible from Helen Olivia for your special events. You will not be disappointed!

They were so easy and pleasant to work with, as someone who wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, they led me through a completely painless process of picking out flowers and they didn't disappoint! The flowers were beautiful-we did cherry blossoms for the ceremony, and the bridal party bouquets were fantastic. They went above and beyond with the small touches as well-the flower girl bouquet was one of my favorite things about the entire wedding. The centerpieces were elegant and really brought the whole room together. I loved working with Rachel and Madison, and can't wait to have a need to get flowers again from them soon!

Simply outstanding! They were able to create my beautiful champagne vision and make it come to life! I worked with Rachel and she was able to answer every question and provide examples of what exactly she was going to do each step of the way. She was able to meet with me several times to assure me my vision was met. Everything she touched turned to into an artistic masterpiece! We have been asked if our florist was from LA because she is just that good! She was quite the guru when it came to planning a flower dream and able to answer all my neurotic bridal questions. Can not wait to use her again for my next event!

Rachel did such an amazing job from beginning to end to patiently listen to me (and my mother).. offer her expert advice and guide us in the right direction to deliver the most gorgeous flowers, bouquets and centerpieces. Rachel and Chuck were nothing less than perfect on our wedding day. Prior to our wedding, they invited us into their shop to discuss vision and ideas, and provide us with an initial quote. Rachel listened to our ideas and provided suggestions to make everything look perfect. Not being able to see my vision, Rachel invited us back to the shop about a month before our wedding to show us examples of our vision. They were beautiful! After seeing these examples, I knew I could count on Rachel and Chuck to make my wedding beautiful. The day of the wedding, Helen Olivia delivered the bouquets to the location where we were getting ready. They then went to the wedding site to set everything up. By the time I got there, everything was set up and ready to go. The flowers were gorgeous! We had so many compliments throughout the evening on the quality and size of the sunflowers we used. Rachel and Chuck went above and beyond to make sure our wedding looked beautiful! I can’t wait to purchase flowers from them again soon!

I had an intimate wedding at the beginning of August and it was arranged transatlantically to boot! Admittedly I was fairly relaxed compared to some brides in regards to wants and needs, but I pretty much work on the basis that they are the experts and it's not in their best interest to mess up. And boy did they not mess up! Perfect flowers that were exactly what I was after and as I got to keep some of the arrangements and the bouquet found out that they lasted over 10 days. On occasion some of the people I spoke to probably weren't the best customer service but then everyone can have a bad day and in the end this bride was one happy customer. Craig is the best person to contact, his attention to detail is second to none.

Helen Olivia did the flowers for our wedding and did a lovely job. Marianne was very helpful and communicative when we were figuring out and ordering the arrangements we wanted. She put together everything beautifully and made our wedding look very lovely. Helen Olivia’s prices could not be beaten and their delivery and set up services were also very reasonable. I would recommend Helen Olivia to anyone for any occasion.

We had a very specific vision in mind for our wedding, which was the last day of the 2011 Cherry Blossom Festival. We interviewed about a half dozen florists before settling on Helen Olivia - recommended by Scriptorium. Marianne was great to work with and clearly understood our vision. She was able to promise (and deliver!) the massive cherry branches we wanted and took a ton of time to coax them to their peak for the wedding day. We got a ton of compliments on our flowers. Everything was exactly how I expected it to look. Marianne is also a very practical woman. She listened to my ideas, then told me why a few were less realistic. She then tweaked those ideas into something do-able that would have the same impact. She also produced sample centerpieces to make sure we would be pleased with the end result. The price was a little high, but we were an hour away from her shop and required a lot of set up. Frankly, for her assurances regarding the cherry blossoms, it was totally worth it. Marianne and her husband are building a unique and independent flower shop with a personal touch. I made an effort in my planning to support independent small businesses and I'm happy I did.

The arrangements and bouquets that Marianne provided for our wedding were exquisite! She was so easy to work with and even brought arrangements to our caterer, so I could match up linens and place settings. Marianne was a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend Helen Olivia to anyone!

Helen Olivia Flowers.....all I can say is beyond amazing! All my flowers were absolutely stunning, take your breath away! I had booked them for an October wedding date and when I had to change my venue I based my wedding around them!!! There was no way that I was going to go without their flowers!! They were extremely flexible seeing how I changed my wedding venue, theme, colors ect, not to mention I changed all my flowers a month before the wedding. The fresh flowers they added to may cake took it to the next level, my wedding theme was peacock and my flowers added to the whimsical nature of my wedding. I will be forever grateful! If they are available on your wedding date, you will not be disappointed!

I was very happy with my flowers and my experience with Helen Olivia. They did a great job of coming up with beautiful arrangements for my reception and a gorgeous bouquet for me. They nicely set up the flowers and even other decorations with fabric and ribbons.
