Long Island Sound DJ's

Absolutely loved how transparent the pricing was on their website! We scheduled a visit to their office, and were walked through the different packages, given a demonstration of the different set-ups, and left our appointment feeling like we got exactly what we planned for our wedding. The day of the wedding, Craig and Tommy were our DJ and MC duo, and they did an awesome job. Our guests loved all of the music played, including our requested songs and the songs that they picked excellently to complement our tastes! They helped throughout our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, with Tommy checking in regular to confirm schedules, pronunciation of names, and any special requests we had. For example, we wanted to make a quick speech as the bride and groom to thank our guests, and they seamlessly fit that in right after our cake cutting. We also did the around-the-room uplighting throughout our reception room, and it really made the whole room feel warm during meals, and so fun during dancing. All in all, everyone at Long Island Sound DJ were so wonderful to work with and we trusted them wholeheartedly to make our wedding a fantastic party.

We enjoyed working with Long Island Sound DJs! All of our pre-event meetings were efficient and we felt that all of our music choices and preferences were adhered to throughout the event. Our MC/DJ team kept the energy high and helped to keep the day and events (speeches, special dances, etc.) on schedule. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.

Omg these guys were amazing! Very communicative and their staff is just amazing. We had Jay as our MC who kept the crowd going the whole time! And we went with the sax player and drummer for an additional fee, and it was so worth it and affordable! Our guests loved them!! The DJ really fed off the energy that our guests gave :)

We had DJ Craig for our wedding, and he was amazing!!! We received so many compliments about our DJ and the entire setlist. He used our song requests/musts in his setlist, and did awesome remixes that aligned perfectly with what we had asked for. The dance floor was packed all night - and it was thanks to DJ Craig and MC Vinny. Definitely recommended DJ Craig & MC Vinny for your wedding!

LI Sound was so great to work with for my wedding! We had Scott as our MC and Craig as the DJ. They are both so talented and kept the party going. Family and friends comment on how much they loved the music. The music spanned different genres and decades which catered to guests of all ages. I highly recommend LI Sound!

John and Scott were our MC/DJ duo for our wedding reception and they had amazing energy! We wanted a mix of classic hits and newer jams in our playlists and they truly delivered! They had excellent communication throughout the planning process, and we really liked that the package was modular so we can pick and choose what we want or don't want, and were happy to help with suggestions for maximizing our big day. We were thrilled to have LI SOUND and would highly recommend them for your next event!

The DJ and MC from Long Island Sound were incredible! They kept people on the dance floor all night! They made the party what it was! They were able to engage all guests, even ones who don't like to dance. They my husband and I feel very comfortable especially with our first dance! They were able to play to the crowd. I would highly recommend them! People are still talking about the playlist and music 4 months later!

One of the very few horrible experiences I had encountered on my wedding day. From the day I signed the contract I had to wait over a month to get confirmation on the DJ, MC and Percussionist I have requested, when I was told that will be confirmed within 24 hours of originally signing the contract. It was communicated multiple times that the preferred DJ MC and Percussionist is not a guarantee, but I had experienced a change of the DJ and Percussionist 3x before my wedding day. Where LI Sound failed was, every time they changed the staff on my contract, the change was never communicated to me. I only found this out by periodically checking my contract every few weeks and then bringing it to LI Sounds attention when I saw a different name assigned. Very unprofessional. The final change to staff happened a few days before my wedding which was our DJ. LI Sound makes you fill out a form of preferred songs and genres, So our now assigned DJ had only a few days to review our preferences and style of music we wanted. As a result, the lack of preparation showed. My wife also spent several hours creating a playlist of music that was sent to LI Sound in advance. The DJ did not play any songs from my wife’s playlist until she approached the DJ herself to remind him that she had a playlist. The DJ only played 2 songs from the playlist. I had multiple guests come up to me on my wedding day asking to play upbeat dancing music. Jay our MC had great energy but our DJ failed to read the room and failed to play our music preferences from both our preference form and my wifes playlist that were provided in advance. There was no transition into songs, I personally could’ve delivered a better playlist spending a few hours on Spotify. I had also provided specific instructions before the wedding that my first dance song should start when i give the cue to the DJ that we are ready to start the dance. I also confirmed this with the DJ on the day of my wedding, that I will cue you to start the song when my wife and I were ready on the dance floor. The DJ started the song before any cue from me and I signaled to him no, not yet, but he restarted the song again when we still weren't ready. Our first dance song was re-started three times when we actually cued on the third time that we were ready. Additionally, the DJ took the creative freedom to fade out our song with 15 seconds left when we still had choreographed dancing to those last seconds, so at one point we were dancing to essentially no music until the DJ realized to put it back on. At no point did I ever communicate to transition out our wedding dance song. Completely derailed our first dance beginning and ending. This was extremely frustrating as I watched this over on my wedding video. LI Sound dropped the ball on simple instructions. Our name in lights which we paid extra for was also stretched out so much on our dance floor that it wasn’t legible. I made a comment to Jay regarding this before our guests came into the ballroom and he said its because of the natural light coming into the room and that it will change, which it didn’t. Overall horrible experience as I had to approach the DJ and Jay multiple times during my wedding evening to change the music and play something that will get my guests out of their seats.

The planning stages were very professional. Wedding day the DJ seemed to have trouble with entrance songs during the ceremony and was skipping from song to song on what appeared to be an iphone. We had a pretty broad selection of music for the reception however it seemed that music that we listed as a must play or emphasize was ignored. We had requested a specific band be focused on and only one song was played by them which was the second to last song of the night and the DJ skipped the last 30 seconds of the song much to the dismay of myself and the guests. they seemed to miss the vibe of the dancing part of the evening we were going for especially with some of our favorite genres and bands. the DJ seemed to miss the energy of the crowd and had also complained to the bride while she was discussing outdoor photos about not being able to choose his entree. the interaction was so awkward that the photographer stepped in and handled the situation.

We have nothing but good things to say! We immediately knew we wanted to book them after sitting down with Scott / Tommy. We also loved the fact that we could watch videos on the website and be able to request who we felt fit our vibe for both DJ/MC. Scott helped us with our final meeting and was incredibly helpful in setting up the outline for our night & had great recommendations for flow / song choices. We went with & luckily got Tommy for MC and Craig for DJ and they were hands down the best part of our night. Tommy was the perfect amount of keeping the crowd hyped & involved without being too in your face & Craig kept our dance floor packed no joke the ENTIRE night. The sax player we got through them also was FABULOUS & had so much energy, everyone loved him. Also got the Photo Booth through them which people loved, my only gripe with that is I’m not sure how involved the assistant was with helping people with our guest book i bought for the photo inserts because it was maybe half filled with the shots & not a single person wrote it in which leads me to believe that they maybe didn’t tell people to do so, usually at least someone writes something in it. But loved that we got a USB that night with all of the shots plus the print outs gave us things to look through. Cannot recommend LI Sound enough they made our night & i didn’t leave the dance floor!

The whole process from start to finish was amazing! The people we worked with on the phone, and the MC and DJ who were there that night were just top of the line! Can't recommend them enough!

Do not walk, do not run, but SPRINT to book Long Island Sound! As one of Giorgio’s preferred vendors, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Long Island Sound many times! Scott, the owner of Long Island Sound, was incredibly helpful throughout our process. We chose Scott to be our MC and Craig to be our DJ. They understood what we wanted in a way that went beyond music, which elevated our wedding to an entirely new level! With their CO2 cannons, sparklers, drummer, saxophonist, and sick equipment aesthetics, they made a lasting impression on everyone.
The rain that day was a blessing because it wasn't 95 degrees, so we didn't sweat our butts off. Everyone was just sweating that night because no one EVER left the dancefloor! The energy was electric, and everyone was dancing their hearts out. The party was so much fun that none of us wanted to leave. We were truly blown away and our night couldn't have been better. Their services are second to none, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Our DJ & MC were the best!!! I have gotten nothing but amazing feedback from everyone!! Several people wanted their info. Everyone was on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. They made it an amazing party!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. LOOK NOOO FURTHER. They made the entire process so simple and smooth from day 1!

We had worked with a dj as well as Mc, there was a change in mc’s at our request and while the dj played all music we requested our MC pretty much made the announcements and that was all which was very very disappointing to us. We made it clear that we wanted to have the MC engaging our guests and get everyone on the dance floor. We said that at our first meeting with them that that was an integral part of our vision and the MC we ended up with was the same person we signed our contracts with and was very aware of this and fell extremely flat with this task which in my opinion is pretty much what an MC would be doing by making sure the guests are dancing and having fun.

We had Tommy as our MC and Russel as our DJ. We can’t say enough great things about them. They were so accommodating to our every wish and kept the party going all night. They understood and respected our song choices from our do not play list to the genres of music we wanted played throughout the night. Tommy kept the energy high and Russel incorporated music that appealed to everyone at our wedding. From the planning process to the wedding day, LI Sound made everything so simple and easy for us. We can’t thank you enough!

Our DJ was great the day of our wedding! We had a call with them to discuss all the details as well as any specific requests that we had. They were very accommodating. They provided the sound system for the ceremony outside as well. Our night felt like a party, and had people dancing until the very end! The music was great, and nothing cheesy was played so the vibes were perfect all night.

We used LI Sound as our wedding day dj. We had a dj and an MC. We also hired a piano player for cocktail hour. The piano player was great and for the vibe perfectly. The Djs were also great and followed everything we wanted. The only thing is that we had our guests request a song on their RSVP. We sent the song list, about 40 songs, to LI Sound to play. They told us it would not be a problem at all and unfortunately the songs were not played. Some were as they are traditional wedding songs, but a lot were not. Besides that, they did a great job and were overall pleased!

We could not be any more happy with our DJ Matt and MC Scott. Matt’s ability to transition from one song to the next was so smooth and clever. We had asked Scott to really only be there for announcements, rather than be a hype man and he respected our wishes. People are still raving about the music from the wedding months later. They listened to our requests and kept the dance floor packed the ENTIRE night. I cannot recommend them enough. We also did uplighting and a photo booth through them and were very happy with both of these services.

For me and my husband, the DJ was by far the most important decision we needed to make in terms of choosing vendors for our wedding. Every wedding I’ve ever been to, the dance floor can make or break the fun. I LOVE music and wanted to have a very classy, but still upbeat and fun vibe, as my wedding was black tie with guests of all ages. We had Scott as our MC and Craig as our DJ. We also hired the saxophone player, percussionist and live singer / guitarist for dinner show. My guests are still wowed at how amazing everything was. My parents friends are still texting them saying that it was like a show. My friends from out of state told me they’ve never seen anything like that with a DJ. When we had our intro appointment to see if we were going to book with LI Sound, we met with Scott. That meeting alone made us realize that we were not going to look elsewhere and that we absolutely needed Scott as our MC and Craig as our DJ. They are the most professional, classy, and kind people. Not only that, I had the time of my life at my wedding because of them. I did not stop dancing for one minute and when I tell you that they perfectly mixed all of my favorite “‘must play” songs, they did not miss a beat. I was so happy and my pictures say it all when you see the dance floor and everyone’s faces. I truly wish I could have another party just so I could hire Scott and Craig again. I definitely will in the future for any event that I am looking for a DJ! They are amazing people and if you want a DJ that will WOW your guests, keep the dance floor packed, cater to your specific needs, and exude CLASS, you have to hire LI Sound. Also - you need the saxophone. They are not your regular DJ company and you will see that the second you step foot in their beautiful office. THANK YOU for everything Scott and Craig! We booked LI sound for our wedding on 09/09/22 and I still have no words.. they were amazing!!! Our DJ was Craig and our MC was Leo and they did an amazing job… Since our first appointment with Scott, we just knew right away that LI sound had to be part of our wedding… specially being the only company to have a bilingual MC which was VERY IMPORTANT to us since most of guests were Hispanic…. They did not disappoint! On our special day Leo was kind enough to walk us through the forms we had submitted a few weeks before the wedding just to make sure everything was ok and the instructions were being followed carefully. My husband and I had provided our own playlist and we were amazed at how Leo and Craig managed to play most of the songs that we wanted considering all the genres I included in that list. Everyone had so much fun that night and I’m just thankful that LI sound was part of it. Phenomenal! They were great. Played a great mix everyone was raving about them. The DJ and MC are so good and friendly. They kept making sure we were ready to party and we sure did!

Cannot stress enough how happy my husband and I were with LI sound! We had Scott as our MC ( requested because he's so awesome) and Dennis as our DJ! We would choose them all over again! You cannot go wrong with them!

We had Craig as our DJ and Scott as our MC. Craig is insane. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, packed before we even did the introductions into our reception. Scott kept the party going and made sure we got all of the dances done, announced dessert, shuttles, etc. My entire family keeps texting me asking who they were so they can use them when its their turn to throw a party. We also had a Photo Booth with LI Sound.Allison was our attendant and she was fantastic. We had to provide our own props (which I bought off of Amazon for $8), and she gave us a flash drive of everyone’s pictures to have and download.

My wedding was on 10/21/22, and LI Sound DJs blew it out of the water!!! After a horrible experience with another company, Scott of LI Sound saved the day. He was, professional, understanding, and responsive to all my inquiries and needs! I really appreciated that ALL they do are weddings, and were stellar at making sure the event was classy and fun at the same time. We had Tommy as our Emcee and Russell as our DJ, and they were superb! Their team does an INCREDIBLE job at catering to your music preferences and reading the crowd. I have a love for electronic dance music, along with my friends. My parents and many of the other guests grew up on rock n roll. We selected Russell as our DJ, and I cannot give enough praise to him. The phenomenal set list, seamless transitions, and effortless ability to play and mix music that EVERYONE would enjoy had us all dancing to all night long. I would have him DJ every party for the rest of my life, if I could! Tommy was our MCee and created the dream atmosphere we wanted our wedding to have. He was incredibly professional, quick to read a room, and flexible with any last-minute changes. He had a great presence and guided the celebration and our desired traditions (dances, speeches, etc) seamlessly throughout the night. I will never have enough amazing superlatives to detail how incredible LI Sound DJ was at our wedding. You can't go wrong with them!!

We had Craig has our DJ and Vito as our MC. These guys were the absolute best. They were so genuinely nice and everyone was raving about how awesome they were. The music was so great and everyone was on the dance floor. My friend is getting married this coming May and decided to hire them for her wedding!

AMAZING!!! Just got married 10/9 and had Scott as our MC and Matty as our DJ. We met with Scott at our very first appointment with LI Sound and loved him. When we decided we wanted to add on a photobooth, he had us come back and experiment with all the options. He even DJ’d for us a bit. Just the two of us, it was awesome! We ultimately decided we wanted him as our MC since we love his energy. We picked Matty for our DJ when we were watching everyone’s videos online. He was super accommodating when we asked for our last dance set to be “emo hour” and played all the songs us and our friends jammed out to in high school. It was a hit. Everyone loved the photobooth as well. I truly believe that out of all vendors, your DJ/MC are the most important. They ran the entire show. I would 1,000 times over recommend LI sound to anyone getting married. They did a fantastic job.

We used LI Sound for our ceremony (live music), cocktail hour (live music), reception (DJ and MC), after-party (DJ) and photo booth - and we are so happy that we did. They are so easy to work with and have so many services to offer. Using one vendor for so many different aspects of our wedding was a blessing and everything was great. We received so many compliments at our wedding about the live pianist. And the compliments don't stop coming about the music. We asked for our reception to be a party and they absolutely delivered. Scott (MC) and Rusty (DJ) did an amazing job and we are so happy with how everything turned out. They were really great at reading the room and knowing what would keep people on the dance floor - at one point there was actually no one sitting. It was amazing. Everyone had so much fun and I'm so appreciative of the experience we had with LI Sound. Music is such a crucial part of an event and I could not thank this team enough for making our day better than we could've ever imagined!

WOW. We are from Buffalo,NY and had our wedding in Jersey City on 9/23. My parents recommended LIsound after going to a wedding they dj’d a couple years ago. My husband is a real music and speaker guy , so finding the right people for our reception was important to both of us , and he’s not that easily impressed . We were blown away in the initial meeting with them and they were super responsive throughout the whole planning process . Vito was out MC and Rusty was our DJ. I woke up the next morning and said I’m so sad we might not ever see them again ! Not only did they keep everyone dancing all night , but they were just awesome people . We skipped a lot of the traditional stuff and they were totally able to adapt the reception to be everything we wanted . We also used them for the ceremony and the cocktail hour which they also executed perfectly. We opted for a live sax player who was also Incredible and a real crowd pleaser. People from Buffalo were even asking for their cards at the end of the night. We hope they’ll make a trip to Buffalo one day !! Seriously book this team, they are AMAZING . Could not have been happier with Long Island Sound for my wedding. We had Craig as the DJ and Vito as the MC and they did a perfect job mixing in all the music we wanted, made some custom mixes, and had the party engaged the whole night. We also had a saxophonist for our cocktail hour which was great as well.

I booked LI Sound for my wedding on July 3. First thing I loved was that you can go on their website and watch all the DJ / MC bios and choose the ones that fit your style! Secondly, they are EXTREMELY on top of making sure they play everything you want AND keep your guests on the dance floor! I really can’t say enough good things! We had DJ Russel and MC Tommy and they were phenomenal!

LI sound was a fantastic choice for our wedding day!!! Scott and the whole team were extremely helpful planning the specifics of the day. They were attentive and responded quickly to questions via phone or email. On the actual wedding day, they absolutely rocked it!! The dance floor was packed the entire time and almost all of our guests were up dancing! Scott as the MC and Russell as the DJ were a dream team! They were able to easily read the room and play the music everyone wanted to hear. 100% would recommend - these guys are great!

Just got married on 05/15/2022, and choosing LI Sound was the best decision we ever made! Vito was our MC and he was absolutely amazing and made us feel like family! From the booking process during the pandemic to our wedding night LI Sound was great to work with. We had Vito as our MC and Craig as our DJ who had everyone on the dance floor all night. Craig was amazing I asked him to play a certain song stopping it at a specific time as I walked down the aisle which he did with no problem. We also asked him to mash together two songs for our first dance which he put together in minutes. He listened to exactly what we wanted and helped make our night one to remember!

LI Sound DJs were amazing! They were extremely friendly and read the room perfectly. All of our guests were on the dance floor all night and haven’t stopped telling us how amazing the DJs were. They made our wedding day truly the best party in years!

Let’s just say, Scott and his crew are AMAZING! When we were first planning, we met with several DJ companies and a few bands. We met Scott at a showcase and he sold us right away! We set an appointment to meet with him and he explained their whole process and how we were able to customize every single aspect of the night. The whole experience leading up to the wedding was seamless and he was very helpful through the planning process. We chose Scott as our EmCee and Russell as our DJ. We had the best of both worlds by having a DJ with band pieces (saxophonist and percussionist) who really made it all that much better. Scott ran the show perfectly and definitely knew how to read and work the crowd! He did such a great job with all the announcements, the timeline of everything, and was very attentive throughout the entire night. Russell played everything that we requested and transitioned very smoothly with each song. The team worked amazingly together and really kept the party going all night long! Everyone has commented on how phenomenal they were. They had the dance floor packed throughout the entire night. They truly were unbelievable!

LI Sound made our wedding night absolutely out of this world perfect! Our MC Tommy and DJ Craig were two of the most down to earth and fun people we could've hoped to work with! From the beginning of the night checking in with my husband and I to get a better sense of what we were hoping for, to the non-stop dancing, singing and entertainment they provided all night was truly amazing. Guests said days later that the music was fantastic and the best combination of genres/styles they've heard at a wedding in quite some time. We constantly had a dance floor full of people enjoying every moment. We told Craig once what we wanted for our grand entrance song and immediately he threw it together in a matter of seconds and it was perfect! Tommy kept our guests going and the energy high all night long. To say the night flew by is an understatement but we wouldn't want to change a single thing. Working with Scott on the paperwork and everything leading up to the night was fantastic and the vibe of the office, their staff and overall business is incredible. We also chose to use the Photo Booth with LI Sound and that didn't disappoint at all either! Our attendant was engaging and enjoyed interacting with our guests who were constantly posing for pictures to last a lifetime. Thank you LI Sound, Tommy and Craig for a perfect night!!

This company is nothing short than incredible. Everyone that has been a "pandemic bride" has prayed for nothing but an easy stress free day and this company made every aspect of that possible. Secondly, in 2004 my sister had a percussionist I swear I would have at my wedding but unfortunately with the pandemic I was unable to. I begged LI sound for their best bongo player to match my dream and they exceeded expectation with their choice of Frank. I couldn't even leave my wedding without a line of guests personally stopping me to rave about the incredible performance he gave. To this day, my guests still are asking his name to show people his closing performance. As far as their competitors, there is none, this company is it. Please believe me when I say, you won't be disappointed. THANK YOU LI SOUND, see you at every event I ever have !

Vito upgraded me for free and he was amazing - really attentive when any small changes needed to be made- my sister recently had a baby so we had to make a few last minute adjustments and he was amazing and fun- I loved these guys
