e most "bang for our buck" so to speak which I greatly appreciated. Our reception was at the Chicory, which is sort of a blank canvas. I love the exposed brick, beams and gas lanterns and really just wanted to highlight and play up those features in the space. With Lisa's expertise we were able to do just that and I can honestly say I loved the look of wedding reception! We highly recommend using Luminous Events!

and understanding what you are looking for from the beginning, I cannot recommend Lisa at Luminous enough! The day was perfect, and they completely brought my vision to life.

They knew the space well and were able to make recommendations on what would work well there. We really appreciated the beautiful job!!!!

om my wish list). Lisa tries to work with you to fit in your budget but I found it very difficult unless you are willing to shell out at least 2K. Communication with Luminous is also sort of difficult as they always have an "Out of Office" reply on their email. I didn't receive much pre planning attention from Luminous (not sure if that was because I was an OOT bride). Overall Luminous is a nice service for candle decorations but be willing to really open your wallet and constantly try to contact them. The actual wedding day service is great but the managerial side of the business hasn't scaled well with their popularity.

that flowers weren't going to play a huge part at my reception but I knew I wanted it to be romantic .. dimly lit and whimsical. I had explained to her what I was looking for but didn't have much of an idea how to execute it. But that was no problem for her. She showed me some photos, I told her what I liked and didn't like and she went from there. She was BEYOND helpful and always answered all my questions and concerns. Then to see the final outcome .. it was BREATHTAKING. The ceremony had candles down the aisle with rose petals that just looked dreamy. It was perfect. There were candles EVERYWHERE and the whole place just felt warm. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how perfect the lighting was and that is all thanks to Luminous Events. It was everything. :-)

g turned out beautifully. The décor she chose to compliment our flowers and ballroom couldn't have been more perfect! The special attention to details made our reception seem even more personal. The overall décor chosen by Lisa and the Luminous Events staff was everything we could've dreamed of. They are professional, work with your budget and make you feel like your event is the most important one. Would highly recommend using Luminous Events to add a beautiful glow to any wedding or event! t "They do". I truly felt like we collaborated on the decoration. The cost was excellent dollar for effect. We especially loved the outdoor string lights that were strung over an area of the reception location. Originally, these lights were supposed to be outside, but due to forecast rain, we had to implement a rain plan with a tent. This area became the ceremony area. Lisa and Jason were able to take the original plans and improvise with just two days notice. When you have so many other things to worry about, this certainly took the worry away. The end result was an incredibly beautiful ceremony area under a tent with all the candles and the string lights. I highly recommend Luminous Events for their creativity, value and diligence.

sts to wear but didn't have any idea how to display them. Lisa had some gorgeous wire trees she set up at the entrance and hung the beads from. They looked like Mardi Gras trees. I loved it! I also loved the small candelabras she placed over the dance floor. It was such a small touch that added a lot of elegance to the space. Lisa was such a joy to work with!

verall inspiration of what I was looking to achieve, and let them run with it... I wanted to be surprised when I walked into the venue, once again, all I can say is... WOW, absolutely BREATH taking!!! They went above and beyond my expectations!! They really know how to make any room look stunning!! They definitely know what they are doing, and helped to make our wedding decor stress-free and BEAUTIFUL!!! Lisa and Jason were always available for any questions, and I feel they truly care for their brides. My advice is to let these professionals have total creative freedom of your wedding... they definitely know how to make a wedding truly LUMINOUS!!!! I cannot say thank you enough to this company!!! I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars!!! Book them TODAY!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

I love their "go get em" attitude and I honestly wish I had hired her as my wedding planner as well because of that. She would not take no for an answer and I loved that!!! Do yourself a favor and hire Lisa and Jason for your wedding, they will make the whole process go a lot smoother!!!

y compliments from peolple that have been to weddings at our venue before and it was a total different experience because of the beauty of what Luminous Events can showcase. My favorite picture is me and my husband outside next to the fountain with beautiful candles surrounding. Luminous Events really made a huge difference in creating an elegant and glamourous presence.

candles on the tables, and Lisa and co added candles to the sweetheart table without us even asking! I could really trust them. My only concern was regarding the tall centerpieces on half of the tables. The plan proposed my Luminous was to add hanging candles to drop down from our large branch centerpieces. As we looked around when we arrived, my groom and I were a little disappointed not to see what we had been looking forward to for so long (and happily sharing with interested guests ahead of time). Other than us, though, I don't think anyone noticed anything was off. It still looked beautiful and very romantic.

For the money you spend, their work has a tremendous impact on making your wedding look romantic, beautiful, and memorable. The ambiance they created for our ceremony at the Omni Royal Orleans looks just amazing in the photos. I would do it all over again with Luminous, exactly the same, no hesitation!

The result: a magical wedding. Everything was so beautiful. The candles lasted all night. You really can't go wrong with hiring Luminous for your wedding. I'm so lucky they were available on my wedding day because I really think they made a big difference in my wedding.

he day of so we did not have to worry about anything! It was stress free. They were at my beck and call the whole day and during thr reception. If I needed something or was looking for someone, they were there to handle it. And the decor was breathtaking! The candles completely transformed the reception room. Forget flowers...get candles! They are so romantic and elegant!

were wonderful. Lisa is a doll and Jason is the guy who will give you a big hug to calm your nerves before you walk down the aisle. You'll love them for the work they do, but most importantly you'll love them for being caring, wonderful people.

isa was probably my favorite thing besides seeing the finished product at the wedding. It was so great to see Lisa's brain wheels turning while walking through the space and just spitting out idea after idea. It was so exciting! I remember looking out the window before at the ceremony space before getting ready and seeing Lisa's husband putting up candles around the fountain. I immediately had to go inside to catch a sneak peak of the ceremony and reception space. I was completely blown away. I can remember walking in with my dad and thinking, what a beautiful, serene, PERFECT space. Lisa and her husband completely exceeded our expectations. Every time I look at our wedding pictures, Luminous Events will always be a great addition to them. Thank you Luminous Events for playing a part in making our wedding amazing.

candles. We had the centerpieces, rose petals, floating candles in a little garden pond and candles to scatter in the yard. We wound up having a ton of extra petals so Lisa lines the aisle with them and put them into all the fountains and it made everything really pop. When my husband and I were sitting at our table at the reception, drinking it all in, I couldn't get over how amazing it looked. There were candles everywhere, but not overdone. The fixtures she chose were perfect and the ambiance was exactly what I had envisioned. Worth every penny.

sure to keep within our budget. I LOVE candles and using the right lighting to set the right atmosphere and this was one of the most important aspects of the wedding & reception to me. Our venue, Race & Religious is already gorgeous on its own, but with their help it was unbelievably gorgeous, I couldn’t have pictured it any better! Plus it always helps to have people to work with that are both incredibly helpful & fun to work with! I can’t brag on them enough!

talior it to your budget. I used her at the Board of Trade venue (where she also got married) so she knew exactly how to make that place shine. We hired her mainly for the courtyard, guest table, and to accent the cake and flower arrangements for tables. The fountain and the trees in the courtyard were stunning and made a beautiful focal point. Once the sun set, it was even more magical. Her candles around our table arrangements were also a great way to jazz up your tables that are easy on the budget (compared to adding more flowers). Lisa is very professional and works up your proposal in a very timely manner.

my hotel room, picked up items for the reception and handled the issues that came up day of so that I had no idea until way after that there were any bumps. She also took over about 2 weeks out and contacted and confirmed with all of my vendors. I am so happy I chose to work with her for both decor and planning.

just got me. Planning my wedding long distance added additonal stress and she made everything seamless. The day of my wedding she called to tell me she wasn't sure how I wanted my grand exit to occur and the venue hadn't really done anything about it, so she created individual bags of rose petals for every single guest! It's that kind of above and beyond service that makes Lisa and team one in a million- not to mention the INCREDIBLE decor on my wedding day! Guests were coming up to me all night telling me which one of the various table accents they liked the most. I would strongly recommend Luminous Events to anyone who wants to elevate their wedding into a glamorous event on a budget!
