I'm a foodie . I felt that we needed the food served at our wedding to be excellent, and Boy do they deliver . We got the chicken with the sundried tomato and spinach sauce . WOW !!!!W had it at the tasting so we knew it was good but the flavors really are on point! The appetizers and charcuterie display were phenomenal. They actually accommodated all our food allergies and dietary preferences with ease. We absolutely recommend them and have already booked them for my sisters wedding next year !

Kevin was a god send for this Birthday Celebration we were having for a Deacon at our church that was turning 90!! Since Deacon Leonard is from Louisiana we had a Cajun menu. The food went way beyond what I was expecting. The roast chicken was so tender, the gumbo was amazing. He even brought the gumbo to us at the table so that we would not have so much in our hands. I highly recommend him. I have also previously used him for my daughter's small wedding reception a few years ago and also for a Christmas party for our Church Staff. What we loved about Chef Kevin Mason and his team... food was very flavorful which was important for us being from the Caribbean - our guests loved it - he nailed the jerk chicken! Flexible and willing to work through whatever we needed. Had great suggestions on food selections. This was a big part of our day and Chef Mason and his team delivered exactly what we needed!

Mr. Mason catered my wedding a couple of weeks ago and the food was so delicious! My family is still talking about how great the food was! I was very disappointed and cheated. The presentation was poorly executed and too salty. I’m the mother of the bride and I got served 3 pieces of asparagus nor was I offer sauce for fish. Everything at the tasting was great, but wedding I was short changed. I paid for chargers which wasn’t placed out and was expecting a refund. I paid on time according to contract. I have not received a refund as of today. I shouldn’t have to contact you or remind you of service that was not provided. Mr. Mason made promises that was not met. There are so many things that went wrong with this catering service, I can’t even write about in this and other reviews.

Kevin mason did an amazing job catering our wedding! Our family and friends raved about the food and appetizers. Pricing was super fair. Kevin was always available to go over things that I had questions about and made us feel very taken care of on our special day. Highly recommend!

Mason's Creative Catering is a must-have for your wedding! The food is amazing, all of our guests raved about how good it was! Kevin Mason is awesome and worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted. He even did a coffee bar for us as an after dinner treat. My sister, my uncle, and I have all used Mason's Creative Catering for our weddings, and all three times we were even more impressed with the service and food. Kevin and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding! We had our ceremony in Brenham (about an hour and a half from Houston), and we had to change our venue once and our date once (due to Covid). Kevin was very understanding and had no issues at all with us having to make adjustments on the fly. On the day of the wedding, he was punctual in getting set up at our venue.. we didn't need to help do any set up or anything. It was a huge relief knowing that we didn't have to worry about feeding the guests. And of course, the food was fantastic. Our guests were thrilled with the selections. Since we had our ceremony at a rented AirBnB, we had our late night party guests going back for seconds and thirds and fourths all night; the food really was great! Thanks a bunch, Kevin. Kevin is amazing. When I went for the tasting the whole room was filled with delicious smells. The food was equally delicious. I don't even care too much for fish or crawfish, but when I tried his blacked fish with crawfish cream sauce I was sold. I loved his personal philosophy on doing business and he seemed to me to be a very good hearted and genuine person. That was important to me. His food was a hit with my guest and we had very few left overs. He came prepared with everything. We forgot to bring the cake cutter and he was on it. I would recommend him to anyone looking to cater their special moment.

Kevin and his team were great! We ended up downsizing our wedding due to Covid, and Kevin was so helpful in redoing our invoice. The food was fresh and served hot - our guests loved it! We also requested a brownie sundae bar, and he made it happen! Really loved this vendor.

Seriously the best caterer ever! He’s so nice, responsive, and on top of everything. Prices were great and there are so many options to make things affordable. He is so flexible in helping pick out the menu. Everyone loved his food! Also, just such a helpful vendor- he brought cookies from another vendor to my out of town wedding, as well as cheesecakes and desserts plates and forks! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Kevin to work your wedding or event!

Kevin is so amazing to work with! His food is delicious and flavorful and the customer service he provides is exceptional! We also had an extreme event the week of our wedding and he prioritized us and went above and beyond for us to still have the perfect day! Our wedding fell on the Saturday after Houston's big freeze (02/20/2021). Food shipments were delayed and Kevin had to go to multiple stores to get everything necessary. Ben and I were so relieved to have booked someone so dedicated to delivering everything they promised.

Kevin Mason and his staff were awesome on our wedding day. My now husband and I tried the samples of each cuisine, and they were all very delicious. We chose the buffet style and every one loved the food. They were all very professional, punctual, and kind to us. After the wedding was over, they offered take out boxes of leftovers to us and our guests and I thought it was amazing since we were all hungry again after dinner. I recommend Mason's Creative Catering for weddings and other events for catering.

Chef Mason and his team did a fantastic job providing great tasting food and service to my wedding reception. We meet with him and he was really professional and quick in answering all my questions . He had many options and accommodated all of our requests. They did a good job with our cake cutting and the clean up as well. I would recommend them . Great service.

We chose Mason’s Creative Catering for our rehearsal dinner. The food was excellent, many great reviews from our guests--especially the Lemon Butter Salmon. We had the Asiago Cheese Mashed Potatoes. OMG ! We will definitely recommend them to everyone .

When I first found Mason's Creative Catering, I had not tried any other caterers but had been in contact with a few. Mason's was very fair priced and had a wide enough menu that we could make the best menu for our wedding to make everyone happy. It was the only caterer we actually did a tasting with, but we were sold. Our initial meeting and tasting were with Chef Jen. She was very helpful and explained the ins and outs of what we would be investing in if we booked them as our caterer. For our meeting to finalize the menu and officially book them as our caterer, we met with Chef Kevin. He was very friendly and open in helping us build the perfect wedding menu from the cocktail hour to the dinner itself. I booked the caterer early on in the planning process and they were extremely easy to contact to make any and all adjustments to the contract. When they say you can change anything and everything to the menu until a week out, they are not lying. I changed so many things and they never complained or had any misgivings. On the day of the wedding and those that followed, one of the biggest compliments was the food. For our cocktail hour, we chose pork potstickers, honey bourbon chicken skewers, and stuffed mushrooms. People who didn't like mushrooms raved about them and said that they couldn't get enough. Needless to say, we did not have any appetizer leftovers to bring home. As for the dinner, we chose the Italian chicken and the blackened white fish with a crawfish sauce. Both protein choices got smashing reviews along with the sides. Kevin and his crew were efficient and kept the buffet line moving without any issues. I would 100% recommend them to anyone that wants a great menu at a reasonable cost. They will do anything and everything to make your wedding vision come true!

Kevin catered my wedding and the food was amazing!!! He communicated very well leading up to the wedding, super easy to get in touch with, and made sure each detail was covered. He went above and beyond to make sure the food and table settings were tailored to my needs.

Kevin catered my daughter's wedding and I could not have been happier with his food, his service, and his team. They far exceeded our expectations. Another positive was that we rented our linens from him and he handled everything from delivery, setup to the return. Many guests commented on how good the hors d'oeuvres and dinner was. Kevin's food was absolutely amazing at our wedding. We didn't get a single complaint and so many of our guests got seconds lol. We had a buffet style dinner and couldn't have been more organized and professional. All of the food was hot ready for the guests. The staff were very polite and did their jobs perfectly. My husband as well as many of the guests were pleasantly surprised with how well the food came out. I had no doubt because I fell in love at the tasting!!!!! Kevin Mason at Mason’s Creative Catering is a bomb chef. His prices are super reasonable, and his food was fantastic. He tailors his menu to each client which gives you a wide range of control over the menu and price. All of his food is good, but I’d especially recommend anything with his one of his sauces. His staff was professional and super sweet too.

Mason and his team knocked it out of the park!!! We hired Masons Creative Catering to cater our wedding for 200. The food was outstanding. We had passed appetizers - crab and corn bisque shooters, Chille relleno bites and Masons spicy meatballs. The main course was blackened fish with a crawfish sauce to die for . Our guest raved about the food .The staff was professional, food was amazing and I cant wait to higher them again .

Kevin Mason and his crew are awesome! We have used Kevin on 3 separate occasions and his food and service have always been excellent! The first was a dinner party in our home for 10 people celebrating a milestone bday that was conducted like a cooking demo for apps, then seated dinner and dessert. So fun! Best dinner party ever and when it was over there was nothing left to do but wash my crystal glasses. He brought EVERYTHING and servers too and carted away all the dirty dishes. The second was a HS graduation party for about 100 people where he served fajitas and all the trimmings. Excellent again and very reasonable price compared to alternatives. This last event was my older daughter's wedding at Peach Creek Ranch in College Station serving 200 people. Kevin held a tasting at his office for the couple and I (MOB) and they chose their BBQ meats and 3 sides out of a list of about a dozen! Nobody else offers that many choices and they were hard to choose from! It was fun and they left with cute decorated cookies as a favor. Kevin's prices and what you get for your money cannot be beat and his food is truly excellent. He will work with your budget and offer options to ensure you stay within it for any kind of event. About 2 weeks before the wedding I reached out to him because the Venue Coordinator does all that for the clients but I wanted to chat with Kevin myself. I found he was in the hospital and would not be well in time for the wedding. Things happen! He gave me the option of finding a new caterer but assured me his Sous Chef could and would handle everything and he would send an extra 2 servers just to be sure. I was concerned that the meats be as expected because his smoked meat is really good and he let me know that he does not personally smoke the meat anyway (who knew!) so that wouldn't be a problem. His Sous Chef has been with him for several years and knows the drill. She handled everything beautifully! I wish I could remember her name as I'd like to give her a special shout out - Sarah maybe?! That day was crazy as wedding days are and I never thought about the catering. They arrived as expected, the food again was excellent (there was nothing left over...everyone had seconds!) The Coordinator at the venue even commented afterward that our caterers were so easy to work with and she loved the food! The only thing I would have done differently was not carve the brisket on site. It looked really cool and classy but it slowed down the food line too much. The day we went for our tasting there was a couple leaving who was getting married in Austin. It would be worth the cost and probably cheaper overall to consider using Mason's Creative Catering for any event in the Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio area. He is a true professional, his service is excellent and most importantly his food is so creative and tasty! Follow him on FB and Insta for photos and ideas. You won't be sorry. I wish he had been able to be at the event because the kids really enjoyed him when they met him and he feels like family to us now! We have used him for such a variety of events that I can assure you whatever your need is he can handle it, stress free, reasonably priced, creatively and with service second to none!

Chef Mason and his entire staff were OUTSTANDING!!!!! They catered our wedding and everything was fantastic. Many of my guests commented about how great they were. They were friendly, upbeat and very accommodating! All of our quest said how great the food was. I heard people say it was a first class event-very elegant and I couldn’t agree more! Chef Mason is such a sweetheart, very mild -mannered easy going kind of guy that knows and does his job extremely well, we loved him. He prepared a special dish for a few vegetarian guest we had and they went crazy over it, they ate it all!. Needless to say our wedding was absolutely wonderful and much of that is due to the outstanding work done by Mason’s Creative Catering . We must say his pricing was very reasonable and the amount he charged was well worth the food. In our opinion you can’t go wrong with Mason’s Creative Catering. We would recommend this place to all of our family and friends!!!!!

Chef Mason was very easy to work with. Dinner was reasonably priced, and the food was delicious! He was quick to respond to phone calls/questions and made the process very easy. They were very helpful every step of the way. We didn't have to worry about anything, top notch food and service. We will find some way to use them again. The service staff was also amazing. Jaime and Jennifer made sure the bridal party got to eat and drink while we were taking pictures, so they didn't completely miss out on the cocktail hour, and they also checked on my husband and I throughout the night to see if we wanted anything. They would even take cold plates away and bring hot ones if we needed them . We never even expected that, and we are so appreciative and impressed. We also had two vegan guests and they made great plates for them. They seriously could not have done more. We loved Masons . He and his team were great

We met with Mason for a tasting and were thoroughly impressed. I had one request for the catering services, and that request was for a pho station. Mason agreed that it was doable, and that he, himself, would attempt to make the pho as a soup option. We decided to go forth with Mason. I had to meet with Mason to taste his pho, which was good. I had no worries. We needed linens, so my planner and I decided to get the linens from Mason. After paying for the linens, my planner asked who would be picking up/dropping off the linens. Mason said that his team would not be doing the steaming/pressing/placing linens. Okay, frustrating. So we withdrew linen services and went with the venue’s linen team. Two-three weeks before my wedding, I get a call from my planner, stating that Mason, due to unfortunate circumstance, would not be available to be present at the venue the day of my wedding and to also man the pho station. Back and forth phone calls, we finally come to the conclusion that Mason will outsource elsewhere. Perfect. Wedding day has arrived. People loved the appetizers, garlic meatballs and filet mignon skewers). Dinner...not so much. I could tell that my guests were disappointed after having such good appetizers. The pho broth was cold. The chicken in the wine cream sauce was nothing like I tasted the day of food tasting. Garlic green beans were bland. The potatoes were cold. Water goblets weren’t available on the table (apparently after discussing that we would want water on the table, the goblets were not put on the contract, which is why no water was on the table). It was unfortunate because my venue’s bar was upstairs so my guests had to constantly go back upstairs for drinks. We had Mason’s team cut the cake in the back. They placed my cake cutting set in a tray and sent it off with my parents, who didn’t know they had my set, only to be found with a broken knife handle. My set wasn’t broken when I cut the cake, and the only way it would have broken is if it was dropped as it was a marble set. My planner had to clean up after the team, and I was told by my guests that the catering team didn’t look happy to be there at all. I had high expectations for this company as he had great reviews and a great tasting. I think it would’ve been a different experience if the chef himself was available to boost crew member morale. I just wish that I didn’t left hungry and that the food was executed better.

We wanted to thank Chef Mason and his team for providing us with some delicious food. Chef Jenns chicken Italiano was Awesome. I would highly recommend the Asiago cheese mashed potatoes. The staff was friendly and helpful . We had leftovers and they packaged them for us to take home . I would definitely recommend Masons .

We have used this company twice and a friend used them as a result of our first awesome experience. I highly recommend Kevin and his staff because they exemplify the epitome of professionalism coupled with great food. They are so accommodating and patient because some of our guests were ‘demanding’ and to my great surprise, the staff was able to incorporate last minute changes and additions without question. They are simply the best in delivering great food, great service, and we will use them, again, without hesitation.

Masons and his team did a great job . Service was great . We had about 165 people and dinner was perfect . We absolutely loved the Blackened fish . The crawfish cream sauce was soooooo good . My guests are still raving about it. I highly recommend them .

Kevin is amazing! He did the catering for my wedding in September of 2017 and all my guests raved about the food! It was delicious, his garlic shrimp and filet will change your life! :) Not only was Kevin super easy to work with, but he's also affordable without sacrificing quality. I am in the wedding planning business and have used Kevin several more times since my wedding, and have always had the same great experience. Would highly recommend him and his team to anyone!

Kevin and his team catered our laid back wedding, and everything was great. Several of our wedding guests commented to me that it was the best catered food they had ever had. We wanted BBQ but didn't want to get to messy . He made us these Smoked Chicken Skewers . A BIG hit! We had the wedding at my familys barn so they arrived early to setup .They did our table settings as well. Everything was perfect . If you can dream it, they will do their best to make it happen for you! Great job Guys !

Kevin and his team at Mason’s Creative Catering EXCEEDED our expectations!!! They came out and catered our wedding on February 17, 2019 and our guests went back for seconds and thirds! The food was cooked to perfection, served hot, promptly, and with a smile!!! Kevin Mason was a blessing to work with from the very beginning. After coming in for a tasting, I was impressed with his professionalism, flexibility, and sincerity. His prices were affordable and he promised a lot for very little. His food and service are worth waaaay more than he charges and for that I am grateful lol! Kevin and his team Arrived on time, set up successfully, served, and cleaned up! I’ve been trying to think of ways to have his good again just because it was that good! The gumbo shooters were tantalizing and deliciously prepared. The crawfish sauce and blacked fish were mouth watering along with marvelously prepared mashed potatoes. Maybe we’ll marry his food next time my God it was great!!

I booked Masons Creative Catering for my wedding . I was impressed with every aspect of the service from the very first conversation. Kevin and his team are wonderful and will work with your budget. He was kind and he helped with my vision for a wedding brunch. My guests are still talking about the fried chicken with french toast waffles. I hired them to cater my wedding at my in-laws home . and everything was fabulous! They arrived on-time, set up, and everything was ready to go before my guests arrived. The staff was so nice and helpful. We had brisket and pulled pork with some crawfish potato salad and red beans. Not only was the food delicious, but the prices were very reasonable.Highly recommend them.

A drop off caterer is all we needed. The food was outstanding and the staff was wonderful. They delivered the food on time and set it up perfectly...and they were really flexible on picking up the items. Everyone who attended our reception remarked on the food. We ordered grilled chops it was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I would use them again without question

We are super happy . Mason worked with me on the budget and personal tastes ( I'm a little picky) to come up with a buffet of whole roasted chicken, sauteed asparagus and country-style potatoes...there was BACON :) Guests were complimenting us on the quality of the food and all we did was choose the menu . Hats off to Chef Mason. Also the servers were professional, friendly and quick to respond to anything we needed. FIVE STAR all the way.

My husband and a lot of our friends and family are vegan, Kevin explained to me his sister is vegan and he would have no problem creating a menu for all the guests to enjoy . Kevin came up with an amazing idea and invited us in for a tasting . Let me tell you it was perfect .We hired him and boy did they deliver .
