At Matanuska Views Ranch, we offer an idyllic setting for your wedding day and a variety of meetings and events, combining the allure of Alaska's natural beauty with the comforts of a modern venue. Host your ceremony or event against the stunning backdrop of the Matanuska Mountain view, ideal for both professional and celebratory occasions.
Our ceremony location is set in the grass field with an unobstructed majestic view of the Matanuska Mountain Range and our iconic barn, with views of Pioneer Peak on the west side. The field is set up with a wooden arch and spruce slab benches for seating up to 200 guests.
Our 4,000 square-foot Banquet Hall was built from a picturesque red barn built in 1948 that can accommodate up to 200 guests and offers a built-in bar and dance floor. The hall is also equipped with a sound system and a large control board. Located in front of the Banquet Hall is the firepit area, perfect for gathering your guests and enjoying the warmth and ambiance of our Alaskan outdoors. Firewood is provided for your convenience. A full commercial kitchen and indoor restrooms will be available in the winter of 2024.

The Honeymoon Suite is a furnished one-bedroom suite with a queen bed, walk-in closet, full bathroom, and separate living room space. Connected to the suite is our 81-degree heated, 4-foot deep indoor swimming pool and hot tub with seating for four.

We booked this wedding venue while it was still under construction. The owner assured us that all work would be completed by our wedding date. However, he repeatedly postponed our ...

Approximately three days before our wedding, we visited the venue and discovered another bride holding her event that day. She was distraught, as she had invested a significant amount of money and found the venue in an unfinished and unsafe condition. She indicated she planned to pursue legal action.
Following our own experience, the owner avoided communication with all clients who had booked and paid deposits. The venue posed multiple safety hazards and remained incomplete. We had to fight to have our deposit returned, which took an unreasonably long time. The house designated for our guests to stay in the night before the wedding — which is also connected to the pool the venue owner advertises — was directly attached to his private bedroom. This bedroom, which the bride was required to use as the suite she had booked, contained unsanitary conditions, including hair and toenail clippings in the bedding. Additionally, firearms were found beside the bed, and personal clothing was left hanging in the closet.
