rable food. The only reason I cannot give them five stars is because our memory of their service will always bring a tear to my eyes. No one on their team checked with the bride or the groom before throwing our beautiful custom wedding cake in the garbage. Clearly they were more concerned with packing up and getting out of there than they were with whether their clients had actually enjoyed a slice of their own wedding cake. I did receive an apology, but as a former server I'm still shocked that they didn't care enough to ask us, the clients, before throwing it away.

Jason and Chef Jeff were great to work with and helped us customize our menu within our budget. The service was also very professional and friendly. We did family style and there was definitely more than enough for everyone. Also If you have a chance to check out their Chef's table dinner it's a great way to sample their style. Once you experience MEC, you will have no doubts!

ll ingredients used are farm to table. During our tasting, we learned that Jeff and the staff work on various farms several days each week to grow their own ingredients. Each course was transformed into a masterpiece by deconstructing and uniquely reconstructing each dish in an elegant and whimsical way. From the tomato three ways, to the red wine poached pear salad with bleu cheese ice cream, to the shitake encrusted filet, every course impressed. I highly recommend using Maui Executive Catering for any event.

Jeff was more than willing to work with us on the entire menu and make custom dishes for us. We talked many months prior and had finally decided on an entire menu for the day. Of course we were on a budget and Jeff was more than happy to provide his buffet tables and all glassware etc that we needed which was great. The day of our wedding we were anxious to try out our food, and we ended up being quite pleasantly surprised. We decided to do action station buffet, which is the only way Jeff does a buffet. It costs more but I think in hindsight it was worth every penny! Of course at the time and not knowing how it would turn out we were apprehensive and again Jeff did work with us on a menu that fit our budget so that was great as well. Myself and my groom were served first. We had a plate made up for each of us with sampling's of everything on our plate and it was delicious! The braised short ribs were melt in your mouth, the scallops were cooked perfectly and the gnocchi was amazingly tender and so flavorful. The whole entire meal was so amazingly flavorful, tender, juicy and exactly perfectly cooked. The only thing I didn't like were the Haricot Verts (which I normally love) but they were definitely under cooked bordering on the raw side, but one small flaw in an otherwise perfect meal. Every guest went for seconds, and thirds and some probably fourths I'm sure! Not a single person didn't leave saying the food was impeccable. We were so blown away (as usually wedding food isn't that great, it's ok just not spectacular) and happy of how this turned out. Jeff is wonderful and easy to work with, his staff is super friendly, professional and amazing. I would NOT hesitate to recommend him to anyone. We've had friends who also had weddings in maui and so we've tried a few others, but by far Jeff blew them out of the water. Still to this day months later we all dream about his food and my cousin still talks about how much she ate and how tasty it was!! I can't gush about how great his food/service and quality are. AND - if you're still skeptical, let's just say I and many of our guests have a very discernible palates and frequent places like Michael Mina's and a lot of other top restaurants with top chefs. We were a tough crowd to please but he did a great job!

and the food was utterly outstanding. Kids and adults loved Chef Chris and his fun tricks and everyone went back for seconds (and thirds) and we still have leftovers for the next day. The wedding catering was out of this world. It was an English Country Garden theme and Jeff has great creative ideas to incorporate the theme into the menu. He was responsive, great to work with and very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. I can't recommend Jeff and the team highly enough.
