Miss Rachel's Pantry

My husband & I are obsessed with the delicious food that Rachel & her team at Miss Rachel’s Pantry create. We have been vegan for 5 years & wanted to serve an entirely vegan meal at our wedding that would please ALL of our guests. Rachel pulled this off flawlessly! She created a beautiful buffet of hearts of palm crab cakes, gnocchi in butternut cream sauce, kale salad, braised seitan & mushrooms, & white bean risotto cakes, as well as an array of incredible appetizers. Rachel met with us before the wedding for a tasting & to create a menu that was seasonal, fresh, & that fit the needs of all our guests. She took into account our venue (a barn without a kitchen!) & selected foods that would be delicious when heated over sternos at our wedding. She even met with us at our venue before the wedding so she would be better prepared for our big day. Our venue posed a lot of complications, but Rachel was willing to find creative ways to work around every one of them & make the night go off effortlessly without extra costs. For dessert, she & her team created a hot chocolate bar for our December wedding complete with tons of vegan toppings & vegan whipped cream. Rachel’s pastry chef, Carley, worked with us to create the wedding cake of our dreams. She took the time to make sure we had the flavor combinations we desired, that we stuck to our budget, that we had desserts for our gluten free guests, & that the design was just what we wanted. The cake was gorgeous & so delicious (chocolate cake with mint icing, spiced cake with vanilla icing, & chocolate chip cake with vanilla icing – amazing!)! Rachel & her team were extremely professional & unbelievably kind as they prepared & served the food throughout the night. They surpassed our expectations on so many levels! We returned to Miss Rachel’s Pantry for a Valentine’s Day dinner & were again blown away with her culinary talent.
