I wish I could give zero stars for my experience with Pretty Films, but unfortunately, that's not an option. My fiancé and I hired them for our wedding, and it turned out to be a nightmare from start to finish. When we first contacted the company, we were impressed by the portfolio they presented, showcasing high-quality videos with a distinctive style that aligned perfectly with what we wanted. However, it quickly became clear that this was just a facade. We discovered that Pretty Films is not a traditional business but rather a co-op team that sources random individuals for each project. The videographer assigned for our wedding did not have the same style in the portfolio we had seen, and the quality of the work was shockingly different. We had booked and started monthly payments over six months in advance, anticipating a smooth process. Instead, we were met with a series of unprofessional and rude interactions. When we expressed our dissatisfaction and requested a refund and cancellation, the situation deteriorated further. The team became combative, and the individual we spoke to, Marty, who claimed to be in charge since the company doesn't have a manager but someone who simply organizes the shooters. They refused to provide a refund while it is 6 months in advance, and claim they would give a refund if they are booked but of course we don't have visibility to their bookings so we were at a loss. This experience was incredibly stressful and humiliating, especially given that it was for our wedding—a once-in-a-lifetime event that should have been treated with respect and professionalism. Instead, we faced a chaotic, disrespectful, and disappointing ordeal. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Pretty Films if you value quality and professionalism. Their misleading presentation and lack of accountability turned what should have been a joyous occasion into a distressing experience.

Highly recommend Pretty Films for your wedding. We went back and forth on hiring a videographer for our big day, and are so happy we moved forward with Maribel. They were so easy to work with and used the highest quality equipment to shoot our day in HD! Our biggest pet peeve with videographers at other weddings is that they use heavy equipment and get in guest's way.

Our family absolutely loves them! Wedding day can be so stressful for the bride, but something about them make you feel so at ease, which is even more important during a pandemic year such as this. Our plans changed countless times, and they were so accommodating. They create a special atmosphere with their presence that can’t be put into words.

The team made us feel special whilst capturing everything that was important, funny, poignant and that marked the day as so special as it was. Their talent is second to none, we had a 6 minute teaser trailer which was delivered super fast and simply blows us, and anyone else who watches it, away. Our longer edit is on its way to us and we can't wait to see it. The quality of production and the moments they choose to put in the edit we have seen are amazing, the flow, the story and the feel of the day captured perfectly. This is NOT a video that will be gathering (digital) dust, we will relish it for many MANY years to come. We really cannot say enough good things about Maribel from Pretty Films! From the moment we sat down for our first meeting I was obsessed. My husband is the kind of guy that will go along with anything I want but even he was really impressed with the video previews Maribel showed us. The price at first seemed steep after meeting with other vendors but once you watch what Maribel offers you can see you are really getting what you pay for. It was the perfect tease of what was to come but let us remain on our wedding high throughout our honeymoon. Just having received our wedding video, my faith in his and his team’s abilities couldn’t have been more correct. They tied together every special moment seamlessly, and not in a dry chronological sequence (getting ready, ceremony, pictures, cocktail hour, speeches etc.). But she didn’t stop by adding just the classical moments, she added special moments or places that she knew would be dear to our hearts. For instance: capturing our last kiss before marriage (with the groom blind folded of course!), zooming in on the address of our first apartment (one spot where we took photos), involving moments with our dog (and removing the part I tripped because our dog was pulling so hard). It didn’t stop there, she added a shot of my law school as it was a few buildings away. I don't even recall mentioning it at our second meeting but she was so thorough and attentive that she remembered. But my absolute favorite part was that she included footage of my mom and I FaceTiming with her sister (my aunt) and her mom (my grandmother), who both live in Greece. Due to my grandmother’s health, they were unable to attend. There was a shot of both of them on my mom’s phone! It meant so much to my family and I that they were included. I would highly recommend Pretty Films as your videographer. I have dreamed of my wedding day since I was a little girl and from their work, I can relive it for decades to come.

Pretty Fims is the absolute best videographer that I could have selected to capture our wedding day. We worked mainly with Maribel who was willing to accommodate us every step of the way. As we were planning our wedding, we mentioned that we would be having a horse-drawn carriage. Maribel immediately suggested using a drone to capture the moment. We felt that she was just as excited as we were about our wedding day. Pretty Films did an absolutely amazing job with the video of our wedding day. My husband and I planned a destination wedding in Jackson, Wyoming. When planning our wedding, videography was one of the last things that we booked because we wanted to ensure we didn’t go over budget. Looking back, it should have been one of the first things we booked after the venue because I didn’t realize just how much of your own wedding you do not get to see from the flower girl and ring bearer walking down the aisle to the silly wedding party entrances to the reception. We were put in contact with Pretty Films through another couple that had used them previously. After seeing their video my husband and I were sold and started reaching out to Maribel to inquire about availability for our date. Maribel and her team were very accommodating and willing to come all the way out to Wyoming to film our big day, even with short notice. They ventured around the town and national parks to capture beautiful footage before the wedding activities began and really captured not only our big day but the essence of Jackson. They asked all the right questions leading up to our wedding to ensure they didn’t miss the little things that were important to us.
