We had guests eating more than one slice and still asking for more! Chris knew exactly what I wanted, he sketched it out, and truly made sure I got every detail I had hoped for. Not only was our wedding cake unbelievable but I also ordered a golf themed groom’s cake for our rehearsal dinner..the DAY before the rehearsal. Chris did not even bat an eye. He listened to what I imagined and the cake exceeded my expectations in such little time. My husband loved it and the cake was DELICIOUS. The cake this time was chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream filling…awesome! Thank you Chris and your team at Sugarush, your work is wonderful and your cakes are delicious! We will be back!

big name bakers were charging more than twice the amount that we paid Sugarush for the same number of guests. We had three special orders done at Sugarush over the course of the wedding events. My sister had my bridal shower cake done there, which was absolutely beautiful. My sister was particularly impressed because she had to place the order over the phone since she did not live locally. She said the beach-themed cake that they showed her when she went to pick it up was exactly what she had imagined when she was planning with them over the phone. All of the guests raved about the funfetti cake and vanilla butter cream! The second cake we had done at Sugarush was a custom order groom’s cake for the rehearsal dinner. My husband and I had lived in Red Bank, where Sugarush is located, for many years, and I wanted to have a Red Bank themed cake made for him. It was absolutely exquisite!! The details they included were unbelievable! My husband was and all of the guests (many of them Red Bank natives) could not stop taking pictures and talking about it! Sugarush also made the cake with their delicious Guinness cake at my request, and the triple chocolate fudge icing was nothing short of decadence! Lastly, Sugarush handles our wedding cupcakes and topper cake. They did a variety of cakes and icing for our cupcakes tower, including a tasty seasonal pumpkin-carrot cupcake to go along with our fall décor. The cupcakes and tower were beautifully decorated with fondant leaves in various autumn colors. We were even able to rent the tower itself from Sugarush for a small deposit. Again, the guests were extremely impressed with the cake, and we are still getting texts and emails from our guests asking for Sugarush’s info! In all 3 instances, WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! We were impressed with Sugarush from start to finish. Not only are they extremely talented bakers and artists, they add a personal touch that cannot be matched by the big name companies. Chris and his crew remembered our names and faces every time we came to the shop. They went above and beyond to help us with planning and to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Our venues were happy to work with them during the delivery and set-up process, and our venues for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding complimented Sugarush for their courtesy, prompt and professional set-up, and quality. We were even told that some of the venue staff were fighting over the last cupcakes that we offered them at the end of the night! We will never go anywhere else for cakes and cupcakes again. We plan to be life-long Sugarush customers! GET YOUR CAKE AT SUGARUSH! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! THEY ARE THE BEST YOU CAN GET!!!

myself. The morning of the party, I had a message from them asking me about the candy, which had been delivered to the venue already. I called them back about an hour later and was informed that when they couldn't get a hold of me, they drove to the venue and picked the candy up themselves and took it back to the shop to put together the candy bar before delivery. I was floored that they handled it so well and went the extra yard to make sure my order was flawlessly handled and delivered. Definitely recommended. Great people with great products.
