Tanglewood Plantation

Tanglewood Plantation is a historic wedding venue in Lynchburg, SC, in close proximity to nearby towns Florence, Sumter, and Charleston, SC. Initially constructed in the 1830s, the great house features architectural elements of the Greek Revival style with its two-story porch and square columns. The manor is nestled on 25 acres of manicured land and still possesses the original wooden cladding on the exterior, owing to the continuous efforts to preserve the property over the years. Several attractive event spaces are sprawled throughout the estate, both indoors and outdoors, perfect for hosting the ceremony, cocktail hour, and evening reception. The property is owned and operated by Jamie and Orville Dyce since 2014, who have devoted countless hours to upgrading the amenities and making it a comfortable venue for special occasions. Couples can celebrate their nuptials with up to 500 of their nearest and dearest due to the expansive gardens at their disposal. Event tents may be set up to create a sheltered outdoor event space, creating a dreamy day-to-night experience. Tanglewood Plantation offers two wedding packages to accommodate couples' different needs and wants. Couples can choose between the DIY venue-only package and the all-inclusive package, which includes tables, chairs, and other event rentals. The venue has an abundance of backdrops for beautiful photographs, and couples can also avail themselves of a rehearsal time slot to ensure everything goes smoothly on the big day. Other amenities include kitchen facilities for the catering company, a getting-ready suite, and exclusive access to the grounds for the special occasion. The team can set up and tear down the event.
