The only part of my wedding that I regret and do not like to think about was the limo experience. My husband and I rented the 26 passenger trolley from Vogue Limousines and it was the biggest mistake of our lives. The moment we began dealing w...ith Brenda, one of the owners of the company, the experience became a nightmare. First she argued with us about the time we wanted my husband and the groomsmen picked up, as if it was her decision to make. Then we had to give her directions for every single stop we needed to make that day, which is completely ridiculous in an age when GPS systems are so readily available and relatively inexpensive, especially for a company that charges $300 an hour for their services. Then, when the trolley showed up to pick up my husband and the guys, the driver informed them that the air conditioner was broken. He then proceeded to scream at them that they better not start breaking glasses. The girls and I were getting ready 2 miles away from the church and were supposed to be picked up at 2:30. The driver dropped off the guys at the church at 2:10. He arrived to pick us up at 2:40, meaning that it took him 30 minutes to drive the 2 miles from the church to my maid of honor's home, nearly making us late for the ceremony. When he picked us up, again the first words out of his mouth were "the air isn't working and don't break any glasses." During the ceremony, the driver supposedly made a call to have someone fix the air. It still didn't work, so the best man asked for another vehicle to which the driver said no. We had no choice but to deal with the heat on our 90 degree wedding day. We asked to open the windows and at first were told no. The driver finally conceded and allowed us to open two of the windows. He continually yelled at me about my dress being in the way and balked at our choice of where we had our photographs taken. In all, the rides to and from the church were absolutely awful...but this was nothing compared to what we dealt with next. The Monday after the wedding, we called Brenda, the owner, to ask her for a small discount to make up for our disastrous experience. Her response? We must have broken the air! My husband told her this was absolutely untrue, so she responded by saying that we must have turned on the heat! (Trust me, I couldn't make this up if I tried!!!) She told us that there was absolutely no problem with the air because her driver didn't say anything about it. We told her it wasn't true so she said she had to call her driver and call us right back. This was at 10 AM. When we still didn't hear back from her at 3 PM, I tried to call again and she wouldn't answer the phone. I left a message and she never called back. So my husband called his credit card company after we arrived home from our honeymoon to try to dispute the charge. The credit card company put Brenda on a conference call with the credit card rep and my husband. At first she said she would give us a $100 credit on our account, which is less that 10% of the $1200 we paid. My husband told her it was unacceptable and he would just dispute the whole charge. She finally called back later and offered $200, which was still not that great, but we decided to accept just to get the situation over with. A month later, we are STILL waiting for the discount. This company is a nightmare to work with and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company to ANYONE!!!
