saved some images a head of time and during our meeting they took a look at my pinterest board, and used that for our design ideas. Everything turned out amazing and they were the only vendor that didn't give me pre-wedding anxiety.. which says a lot! They were very prompt with all of our communication and I didn't have to worry about whether they were going to get the job done. About a month before the wedding I had another meeting to finalize all of our details and go over everything. They were totally wonderful about some changes I wanted to make and they really made our vision come to life. All of our guests raved about the flowers and decor (which they also provided). It was magical.

My venue had drift wood, air plants, flowers, hops, kale, and succulents all with hints of beach vibes. It was the most breath taking decor I have ever seen. My sweat heart table made me cry. On top of my wedding day the team came down the night before to set up center pieces for my rehearsal dinner! They we so easy to work with and with every meeting we had the more brilliant ideas they came up with and the more excited I got. We will continue to use A garden party for any special occasion in our lives I couldn't recommend them more, they are FANTASTIC.

eremony-it was so cold out the ceremony was a good 15 minutes and it was done 😭 BUT I still would not have changed a thing. Each peace of the wedding that these ladies touched was pure perfection. When I went to the consultation appointment I was impressed at their visions and how they helped me understand my own style without me being able to communicate exactly what I was looking for. They linked up to my Pinterest account which I thought was super smart, and by looking at their Pinterest, Instagram and wedding blog I could fully trust that I was in good hands. Out with the old stuffy and stale centerpieces, in with rose gold lanterns with long ribbons and succulents, floating candles and eucalyptus leaves draping everything. They will help you stick to your budget, though if you’re like me, you’ll upgrade a bunch of stuff at the end anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️ but, you only get married once. We took our leftover flowers to a church and retirement home and our succulents are still living! Do it!

Mary made my floral dreams come true and our guests are still raving over how gorgeous our head table was. Dawn was so accommodating with every request I made and she made sure every detail was perfect. She even wrapped a piece of my mom's wedding gown around my bouquet which was a beautiful and sentimental touch. We couldn't be more grateful for the experience they provided throughout the entire planning process and their organization skills are impeccable. A quick recap of how A Garden Party's extremely tardy arrival affected our entire wedding day, let alone the sub-par products they produced: Watch out for the contract wording – as the owner Mary verbally stated that she would attend our wedding day delivering the flowers, but after we spent over $3K that wasn’t enough as Mary stated she had an obligation days before our wedding, to attend another event. The contract states anyone can show, so that was the out. Their intern - “Ashley's” 40+ minutes of lateness led to a very upsetting series of events on our wedding day. We were told there was nothing to worry about with Ashely now delivering. When we scheduled 10am as the drop off time it was the dead last time to be there. We explained in detail how everything revolved around the floral headpiece & if it couldn't be there by 10am that my Bride's hair wouldn't be done, etc. They assured us that it would never happen. Yes, my Bride wasn’t late to the wedding, which is true: She wasn't late because she left without being ready. For a noon Mass she can't just "start late" so she had to show up as is. Her makeup was done, but we had to wait so long on her hair that she wasn't ready for the photographer's getting ready shots. My Bride only had 20 minutes for the girl to braid her band in & she was so late with the flowers that they started her hair knowing it wouldn't be in at all and she re-did the entire thing once Ashley got there. Her veil was put in in the limo & fell off when she walked up to the altar because it had to be the last thing to be put on & she couldn't pin it correctly herself. We cannot tell you how upsetting it was, let alone my BRIDE to be so shaken & upset on our wedding day. Beyond the fact that the flowers were also delivered to the wrong location per our contract – Groomsmen flowers to the church not the hotel, the Best Man’s bout being Larger than myself the Groom’s as well as the lateness, the largest problem we found with this vendor – A Garden Party was their lack of dignity and respect. After discussing the above with Mary via email – she didn’t offer an apology, didn’t offer to refund us the over $200 worth of “labor” and “delivery” fees which we never received due to their employee showing up late, nor did Mary offer to amend the matter in any way shape or form. She simply stated “all the best” to us and “sorry”…After following up multiple times, we were able to get back the labor and delivery fees back. Before offering an apology for making a BRIDE CRY, have her VEIL FALL OFF on her wedding day, Mary defended the employee stating she was only XX minutes late and not 40 minutes as we stated. She discussed phone call logs, that were irrelevant as over 30 people are able to support the fact that A Garden Party was 40+ minutes late. This was inconsequential, as I would assume this vendor knows the importance of timing on a wedding day. We sincerely hope a Bride or Groom or anyone reading this thinks twice before booking with this vendor – A Garden Party. Their lack of service, respect for customers is utterly shocking. At the end of the day, we do not know how these types of people and “businesses” exist.

Dawn and Mary are SO MUCH MORE. If you’re looking for the ultimate partner in bringing your wedding vision to life, then A Garden Party is most definitely for you. We used A Garden Party for all of our flowers and a good amount of décor and signage. For this Type A bride, they were everything I could have asked for – super responsive, supportive, patient, honest, ALWAYS lovely, and filling the knowledge gap of floral design, wedding décor and how to create an event that reflects the couple and their vision. Their work is so very beautiful – they have an exquisite aesthetic when it comes to floral design and styling and can really do anything. They have the talent and demeanor to handle either type of bride – the one who knows what they want and the one who isn’t quite certain. This is a super important nuance for brides – not only will they work with you to specifically create what you are asking for and provide counsel on how to best execute your vision, BUT, they are just as spectacular creating beauteousness with full creative license. From our birch chuppah (which a month later we’re still getting compliments on) to the bouquets (which included 10 unique bridal party designs), the boutonnieres, the LOVE sign (romantic/whimsical-style brides should ask about this rental!), then to the centerpieces, window designs, etc. – there were so many beautiful details to take in. After our initial meetings (and my multiple requests to add items and elements – their Facebook and Pinterest pages are amazingly dangerous sources of inspiration), I had no doubt that they were going to execute flawlessly… I never lost sleep, cried, accumulated frown lines over their elements – they were a dream to work with  What more can you ask for? I had such a good time working with them during the planning process that I was so happy to see their smiling facing onsite that day – trust me, you will want to be friends with them when your event is over!

The first florist was quick with our meeting, never got back to us, and not nice to work with... But we LOVED her work.... (okay, so for the record that paragraph was NOT about A Garden Party!) So... then we made the hour and a half drive to meet with Mary from A Garden Party... Mary was amazing. So kind, and sweet, and asked us a million and one questions about what our vision was. She literally wrote everything down that we said, and she LOVED our ideas... If she didn't think something would work she would tell us, give us another option, and then pull up pictures of what exactly she was talking about. She spent so much time with us, creating our entire wedding during our first meeting, allowing us to view and choose center piece options, etc.. Now, remember this is before we even hired her! She was extremely professional, and she made us feel like she was really listening to what our vision was. Her work was beautiful beyond words, but the bright colors and bold flowers weren't exactly what we had in mind.... so we were nervous!!... But because of how amazing our first meeting went, and how great it was to work with her, we choose A Garden Party. What I can say about Mary, Dawn, and the rest of the team at A Garden Party, is that they made our wedding perfect. If it wasn't for them it would have been completely different. It has been almost a month since our wedding and people are still complimenting us on the ballroom decor, the flowers, the centerpieces... everything that Mary and Dawn created. The work that was put into each bouquet, each center piece was immaculate. The time they took painting pumpkins white and gold, and finding mercury glass candle holders for around the center pieces... every single detail was extremely well thought out, and it created a space that was absolutely stunning. When I saw my bouquet for the first time I was speechless and crying. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.... When I saw the cocktail hour space and the ballroom, I just couldn't believe how perfect everything was. It could not be reproduced by any other florist. Mary and Dawn created the perfect, unique, personal space for us. They made our wedding what it was, and I am SOOOOOOOO happy that we trucked it up to Elmer NJ and found them! If you choose any other florist besides A Garden Party you are making an incredible mistake. They should be a part of EVERYONES wedding. They are beautiful people to work with, and they can create ANYTHING.

During our meeting, Mary was generous with her time and guided us through what we’d need, while taking the time to ask dozens of questions to discern our preferences. Mary honored our vision while infusing it with things that we couldn’t have even imagined were possible. On our wedding day, Mary quietly and efficiently moved throughout our venue, transforming every space with thoughtfully selected and perfectly placed flowers, décor, and linens. The result was breathtaking and we heard it from all of our guests. In addition to Mary’s talent, creativity, and skill, she’s a true professional in every sense of the word. She’s organized; responsive by email; willing and ready to adapt if things need to change (e.g., the weather forces your outdoor wedding indoors); extremely helpful with planning and day of coordinating; and she’s willing to work within your budget. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mary and her team and we cannot recommend her highly enough.

They created a bouquet for me that incorporated my favorite flowers and colors; it was edgy and new, but also timelessly, classicly elegant. Every piece they delivered was perfect and perfectly "me." In all the pictures, our flowers are making their presence felt as subtle works of art, enhancing the beauty of our day. I can't thank A Garden Party enough for the part they played in making my wedding a colorful and joyful occasion--I only wish the arrangements would last forever!

Their costs are way less than the center city studios I visited and I could not believe how much Mary and her team did! Mary gave me ideas for everything. She helped me pick out table napkins, aisle runners, wedding colors, etc (I really was this ambiguous!). In the end, not only did I have enormous and affordable bouquets on each table, but we had a flower wall behind us during our ceremony! A flower wall! It was stunning. We had so much luck with A Garden Party that one of my bridesmaids booked her for her wedding as well (she knows exactly what she wants, and Mary was equally as helpful).

My husband and the groomsmen were also so incredibly impressed with their bouts because they were not typical, ordinary bouts that you see at every special event. They were brightly colored with many different types of flowers. Also, the mothers and grandmothers wore FLOWER JEWELRY. That's right, flower jewelry! They wore beautiful, bright floral cuffs that were excellent accents to their attire. The florist also makes floral rings, necklaces, etc. I could go on and on, but to get to the point, my experience with A Garden Party was amazing, and to top it all off, their prices were outstanding! I would recommend this vendor to anyone and everyone!

She used mason jars and candle that I already had and added in her own touches. I could not have asked for anything better. Highly recommend!
