We interviewed two florists and there was just no comparison. From the initial interview, Dawn and Mary just got "the vision." She showed us flower choices that were just what we wanted. A Garden Party was easy to work with, worked within our budget and responded promptly to questions and the final result was truly perfect. Highly recommend!

The floral arrangements for our wedding were nothing short of breathtaking! Dawn and Mary's creativity and attention to our vision were evident in every bouquet, centerpieces, archways, and linens. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and beautifully arranged, adding an enchanting and whimsical touch to our celebration. They went above and beyond to incorporate every detail from our chosen colors and themes, creating a truly magical atmosphere. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, even under the pressure of last minute changes due to a tropical storm. We received numerous compliments on the flowers, and we couldn't be happier with the stunning contribution they made to our special day!

The entire Garden Party team was so amazing at bringing our vision to life and beyond! We felt like we were in a fairy tale the day of our wedding, they took our ideas and really ran with them and then went the extra mile at every step of the way to elevate absolutely everything. We hired A Garden Party for our April 2023 wedding and SO happy that we did. They helped bring my vision to life to create a colorful wedding. We looked to A Garden Party to not only create bouquets for the bridal party, but also transform the same space for our two separate ceremonies (Hindu & Christian) to ensure each ceremony had a unique look. They also made beautiful floral garland's and created a Mandap of flowers & greenery for our Hindu ceremony. I highly recommend A Garden Party for your wedding / event - they were so easy to work with and were able to make changes / adjustments up until nearly the end. I was obsessed with the final product!

A Garden Party is insanely, unbelievably talented. As the bride, I want to say that I was the showstopper at my wedding; but it was definitely my flowers. They were so stunning and absolutely set the tone for my magical fairy garden wedding. Dawn could not have been more wonderful to work with. I couldn't find pictures of what I wanted, so while trying to find a florist, I spent a lot of time trying my best to describe what I was envisioning. I picked A Garden Party in the first place because Dawn was the only person who seemed to understand what I was saying, and she was genuinely excited. Florists are a unique vendor, because you really won't know what everything is going to look like until you get there the day of. This made me extremely nervous, especially considering I wanted a lot of color, which can be risky and looks tacky to me more often than not. Despite my concerns, Dawn always remained confident that she knew what I was looking for and she was truly such a calming presence. On the day of, boy did they deliver. Mary was there and she was lovely. The flowers were what I was imagining but somehow even better. At most weddings, couples spend a fortune on flowers that no one takes note of. I don't think there was anyone that didn't comment on my flowers. People are still talking about them months later! I couldn't be more grateful for their patience and collaboration. A Garden Party literally made my floral dreams come true!

WOW! WOW! WOW!!! A Garden Party was absolutely amazing! Worth every penny! I had a pretty clear vision in my head and they brought it all to life. The venue is what they call 'woodsy chic' and Dawn & her team complimented that so well! They make everything so easy for you as well! They show up, put it all together and then by the time we're leaving, they were there cleaning up. It was one less thing to have to think about which is greatly appreciated on your wedding day!

LOVED working with A Garden Party! They do exquisite work! Dawn and Mary are amazing. Everything for our wedding was absolutely stunning! The bouquets, flower girl wands, boutonnières! They designed florals arrangements for five different fireplaces at our venue, each one with a unique design and gorgeous detail! The entrance way arch was stunning and was highlighted with soft greenery and lighted candles and lanterns to welcome guests! I will never get over how absolutely perfect the flower arrangements were, and honestly the word perfect does not even do them justice! Mary, Dawn & their team at A Garden Party absolutely NAILED IT for our wedding in Philadelphia. I got married at PAFA, an art school & museum – I wanted reds, oranges, fall colors, but was struggling with how to pull together the whole vision. Mary and Dawn met me at the venue a few months in advance of my wedding and provided so many suggestions for linen colors, floor plans, and other small details for the weddings outside of just florals. They were extremely communicative throughout our wedding planning process. They went above and beyond at the venue to help decorate and bring the vision to life – the reception space looked amazing with tall and short florals, candelabras, tea lights, and bud vases throughout the entire reception space - to say they are creative geniuses is an understatement. I couldn’t more highly recommend the team at A Garden Party, they are incredible to work with and SO talented.

Dawn and Mary went above and beyond every step of the way! My wedding had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic and the team could not have been more accommodating with all of the changes. When the day finally came, I was blown away by their artistry and creativity! My bouquet brought me to tears, especially when Mary mentioned she had cut my peonies from her garden that morning! The attention to detail on my ceremony arch was remarkable. They had arranged the flowers in a subtle ombre of pink shades. They completely delivered on the vision I described, and I was, and still am, totally speechless. Pure Magic. There are no other words to describe what A Garden Party team does. Mary & Dawn were extremely helpful from the start of the process to the very end. Dawn being so organized and helping me ensure everything was perfect for the big day. We even threw in a VERY last minute addition and she didn't even flinch. I’m still SPEECHLESS at the entire experience with A Garden Party! Mary and Dawn exceeded my wildest dreams; people are still raving about the flowers and beauty of my wedding. They are the absolute best of the best to work with. Being a COVID bride, I was feeling a constant state of disappoint having to constantly change my “vision” — until I talked with these ladies. They designed an EPIC first wedding which was cancelled and designed an even more EPIC second wedding. They were so flexible with my change in style. Most importantly, my wedding day poured ugly rain and was completely outside, Mary, Dawn, and their entire team worked their asses off to transform what could have been an ugly, rainy backyard wedding into an absolutely breathtaking affair. This review is long overdue after a crazy year - but much needed. I got married October 2019 and A Garden Party was unbelievable to work with. The questionnaires and in person meetings were a seamless way to create my wedding vision. Mary and Dawn took my small ideas and thoughts on colors and added in their floral and design expertise and created a masterpiece. I had no doubts that what they were going to create was going to be beautiful - and then they blew me out of the water. The colors, attention to detail, and the way they helped style all of my elements were better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone was talking about the gorgeous florals all night!

A Garden Party came recommended by our wedding venue, ICONA Avalon, after we pivoted from our big city wedding amidst the pandemic and decided to do a microwedding at the beach with our family and bridal party. I cannot describe how beautiful the flowers were that Mary, Dawn and their team developed for our wedding. The bouquets were gorgeous, they supplied a perfect driftwood arbor for our beach ceremony and the decor was exquisite. Plus, they were the easiest vendor to work with - I cannot sing their praises enough, their work is second to none!

From start to finish A Garden Party was wonderful. The process began about a year or so before our wedding. We met with them at their shop and went over designs, ideas, and our vision. My favorite part of that process was using Pinterest. I had saved some images a head of time and during our meeting they took a look at my pinterest board, and used that for our design ideas. Everything turned out amazing and they were the only vendor that didn't give me pre-wedding anxiety.. which says a lot! They were very prompt with all of our communication and I didn't have to worry about whether they were going to get the job done. About a month before the wedding I had another meeting to finalize all of our details and go over everything. They were totally wonderful about some changes I wanted to make and they really made our vision come to life. All of our guests raved about the flowers and decor (which they also provided). It was magical.

My wedding was the most gorgeous day possible because of the hard work and talent of A Garden Party. The staff are the most professional, smart, creative artists in all of event planning. When I met with them my describe my theme as Botanically Nautical. Every one else thought I was crazy! What does that even mean?? But they saw my vision. My venue had drift wood, air plants, flowers, hops, kale, and succulents all with hints of beach vibes. It was the most breath taking decor I have ever seen. My sweat heart table made me cry. On top of my wedding day the team came down the night before to set up center pieces for my rehearsal dinner! They we so easy to work with and with every meeting we had the more brilliant ideas they came up with and the more excited I got. We will continue to use A garden party for any special occasion in our lives I couldn't recommend them more, they are FANTASTIC.

I loved working with A Garden Party. At the initial meeting, they pulled my Pinterest board up on a big screen so we were able to look at all the ideas I liked and saved. The owners were easy to work with and quick to respond to emails. More than just flowers, A Garden Party has rental items to meet your needs. I rented an easel, crates, and candles. A Garden Party delivered on time and everything was exactly how I pictured it would be. It was so nice to see my visions and ideas come to live, exactly! I am still in love with my bouquet and am having it preserved!

As we began planning, my now husband (!) and I knew our vision wasn’t going to match a typical wedding aesthetic. When we brought our ideas to A Garden Party, Dawn and Mary didn’t miss a beat. They transformed the blank canvas of our venue into an elegant beach oasis and the process could not have been more of a pleasure. A garden party went above and beyond what I could have EVER imagined for my wedding. I gave them a general idea of what I wanted and told them to do what they thought worked and i am SO glad I did. STUNNING!! I used A Garden Party as my wedding florist and they were absolutely amazing!! The flowers they provided were prettier than I could have ever imagined. They captured exactly what I was looking for, but not only did they look great, the staff was so friendly. Leading up to the wedding they were always responsive to me. It took me so long to write this review because I couldn't find the words to describe how incredible and talented the entire team at A Garden Party is. They can do the most creative and unique floral designs I've ever seen. When I saw them at a wedding show, I was so blown away that I said when it came time for me to choose a florist, it would be them no matter what. But somehow they ended up being so much more than I thought. When I sat down with Mary to just brainstorm, I loved her passion for what she does. It was incredibly inspiring. A Garden Party gave me the wedding inspiration I needed! Then, when it came to day-of, they did such a beautiful job that I'm still comprehending it. People were obsessed - everyone took pictures with the arch, and even now, two months later, we are still getting calls and comments on how perfect the flowers were. People keep saying, including men, they've never seen more impressive, beautiful, stunning flowers. I have recommended them to everyone I know, and if you want the best in the biz, A Garden Party is it.

Dawn, Mary, and their team were such a pleasure to work with and truly exceeded my admittedly high expectations! The florals that A Garden Party created for us on our wedding day were legitimately outstanding. They were one of our favorite vendors throughout the entire process. We worked with Mary the whole time and from the very beginning every interaction with her was so positive. She is organized, responsive, warm, easy to work with, creative and so so talented. On our actual wedding day there was horrible rain predicted for our outdoor ceremony. They held off decorating our plan B, set up completely outside at our plan A ceremony space so we could take all of our photos under the gorgeous arbor, and then switched everything to our indoor plan B location just in time for the ceremony. Total Disclaimer, we thought we didn't need much floral designs at our wedding, since we hosted it at a beach venue- OMG we couldn't have been more wrong. Our Wedding Day looked as if we styled it for a Magazine Cover. Absolutely Unreal! With all the over-whelming decisions that a wedding requires, do yourself and your partner a huge favor and book with them. Honest.

Amazing and so creative! Our flowers and details were so on point! We got to see the venue, taste the food, try on the dress, practice hair and makeup, but the flowers you see that day! We had a beach wedding and were looking for “coastal chic” and they nailed it! Flowers were breathtaking, but the staging of the lanterns and shells and coral and roping, etc. etc. etc. was gorgeous! We got so many compliments on the overall decor that they designed. Very creative sister team and their amazing staff! Highly recommend them!

These women were A++++ amazing. They not only could practically read our minds on what we wanted, they were super friendly and helpful. On the wedding day, the flowers were even more incredible than we could have imagined. Thank you so much!!!

A Garden Party made our wedding flower dreams come true this past May at Bonnet Island Estate! Mary and Dawn truly have an special eye for floral design like no other. They were spectacular to work with from beginning to end (hands down most professional and punctual vendor) and provided many unique and different ideas to the table while still respecting my vision. I can safely say that my favorite and the most jaw-dropping element of my wedding was the floral and event design. There are many things that can go wrong on the big day, but we never had any worry that something would be missed or out of place with their team. Their professionalism is top notch and even during the stress of the day they were true rockstars, were calm, cool, and collected. The flowers truly exceeded our expectations above and beyond. We have been getting many compliments about the flowers still to this day! That is a true testament to their talents. I have no doubt I will find a way to work with them again in the future.

It took over two hours to drive down to visit the A Garden Party farm/office, but it was well worth the distance! Mary and Dawn were absolutely wonderful to work with and they made my wedding in Princeton gorgeous. They made decision-making as easy as possible and I have received so many compliments on every flower/piece they have added to our wedding. They were punctual, creative, kind, easygoing... AGP provided that finishing touch that made our special day perfect. Our flowers and other decorations (fabric, candles, seating chart, etc.) were exactly what I wanted, and the owners and staff are so talented at floral design and decoration. My flowers were one of my absolute favorite parts of my wedding!

Working with Mary and the team at A Garden Party was a wonderful experience. From our first phone call, I felt that Mary completely understood my vision, despite me sometimes finding it difficult to articulate certain ideas. She has the most amazing "can-do," attitude, and excels at using her experience and creative skills to execute the most gorgeous floral designs imaginable. Everything came out perfectly - we had an elaborate floral arrangement adorning a tree at our ceremony site, and stunning display on the outdoor fountain, lush, beautiful bouquets and romantic candles and centerpieces in the ballroom - all were executed to perfection. One word - perfection. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Mary and Dawn for our daughter's wedding in December. They were able to capture our daughter's creative spirit perfectly and bring to life her vision for a beautiful winter wedding combining their artistry along with personal touches from both the bride and groom (antique book collection, geodes) and seasonal elements to incorporate the spirit of the holidays without going overboard . They created spectacular bouquets, boutonnieres, candlelit table centerpieces for coctail hour and reception, fireplace mantle decor and cake table greenery. Mary and Dawn also transformed the cermony space in front of the fireplace over to the reception space seemlessly while guests attended a coctail hour in another area of the venue. I cannot say enough about the quality of their work, attention to detail and their creativity. It was simply sublime, and well worth the expense.

Where flower dreams come true 😍😍😍I went back and forth before selecting a garden party. I started with one flower budget and ended with another. No regrets at all. And I can say a big up on my budget were last minute changes I made for the ceremony-it was so cold out the ceremony was a good 15 minutes and it was done 😭 BUT I still would not have changed a thing. Each peace of the wedding that these ladies touched was pure perfection. When I went to the consultation appointment I was impressed at their visions and how they helped me understand my own style without me being able to communicate exactly what I was looking for. They linked up to my Pinterest account which I thought was super smart, and by looking at their Pinterest, Instagram and wedding blog I could fully trust that I was in good hands. Out with the old stuffy and stale centerpieces, in with rose gold lanterns with long ribbons and succulents, floating candles and eucalyptus leaves draping everything. They will help you stick to your budget, though if you’re like me, you’ll upgrade a bunch of stuff at the end anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️ but, you only get married once. We took our leftover flowers to a church and retirement home and our succulents are still living! Do it!

I highly recommend A Garden Party for all floral needs! It was so easy working with Dawn and Mary from start to finish on the flowers for our wedding. I'll never forget walking into our reception before everyone else and seeing our vision brought to life...it was stunning! I mainly worked with Mary, who is so talented and great at taking a "vision" and hashing it out until you're both on the same page. She also was great at working within our budget and suggesting ways we could lower our costs, while maintaining the overall aesthetic. Overall, I loved working with them & you will definitely be happy if you go with A Garden Party too!

To say the team at A Garden Party was absolutely incredible would be an understatement. From the day we had our fist meeting with Dawn to the moment we walked into the gorgeously adorned ballroom on our wedding day, we were blown away. Dawn and Mary made my floral dreams come true and our guests are still raving over how gorgeous our head table was. Dawn was so accommodating with every request I made and she made sure every detail was perfect. She even wrapped a piece of my mom's wedding gown around my bouquet which was a beautiful and sentimental touch. We couldn't be more grateful for the experience they provided throughout the entire planning process and their organization skills are impeccable. If you want your wedding day to look like it's straight out of a fairytale, do not walk, but RUN to A Garden Party. You won't be sorry!

Dawn and Mary are incredible! They were so friendly and easy to work with, and they truly made my floral dreams come true! Our wedding flowers were my favorite detail of the day - they were absolutely gorgeous! They took my vision of romantic blushes, deep reds, and peachy hues, and turned our wedding into a beautiful, lush garden. All of our guests would not stop commenting on the centerpieces, aisle markers, arch decor, and bouquets. They also made us a beautiful head table floral piece that was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!

Stay Away!: A wedding should be a dream day, without a worry or concern regarding a vendor. This particular establishment - A Garden Party not only made my Bride shed tears on her and our wedding day, but their complete lack of respect and professionalism was the most concerning thing to us. A quick recap of how A Garden Party's extremely tardy arrival affected our entire wedding day, let alone the sub-par products they produced: Watch out for the contract wording – as the owner Mary verbally stated that she would attend our wedding day delivering the flowers, but after we spent over $3K that wasn’t enough as Mary stated she had an obligation days before our wedding, to attend another event. The contract states anyone can show, so that was the out. Their intern - “Ashley's” 40+ minutes of lateness led to a very upsetting series of events on our wedding day. We were told there was nothing to worry about with Ashely now delivering. When we scheduled 10am as the drop off time it was the dead last time to be there. We explained in detail how everything revolved around the floral headpiece & if it couldn't be there by 10am that my Bride's hair wouldn't be done, etc. They assured us that it would never happen. Yes, my Bride wasn’t late to the wedding, which is true: She wasn't late because she left without being ready. For a noon Mass she can't just "start late" so she had to show up as is. Her makeup was done, but we had to wait so long on her hair that she wasn't ready for the photographer's getting ready shots. My Bride only had 20 minutes for the girl to braid her band in & she was so late with the flowers that they started her hair knowing it wouldn't be in at all and she re-did the entire thing once Ashley got there. Her veil was put in in the limo & fell off when she walked up to the altar because it had to be the last thing to be put on & she couldn't pin it correctly herself. We cannot tell you how upsetting it was, let alone my BRIDE to be so shaken & upset on our wedding day. Beyond the fact that the flowers were also delivered to the wrong location per our contract – Groomsmen flowers to the church not the hotel, the Best Man’s bout being Larger than myself the Groom’s as well as the lateness, the largest problem we found with this vendor – A Garden Party was their lack of dignity and respect. After discussing the above with Mary via email – she didn’t offer an apology, didn’t offer to refund us the over $200 worth of “labor” and “delivery” fees which we never received due to their employee showing up late, nor did Mary offer to amend the matter in any way shape or form. She simply stated “all the best” to us and “sorry”…After following up multiple times, we were able to get back the labor and delivery fees back. Before offering an apology for making a BRIDE CRY, have her VEIL FALL OFF on her wedding day, Mary defended the employee stating she was only XX minutes late and not 40 minutes as we stated. She discussed phone call logs, that were irrelevant as over 30 people are able to support the fact that A Garden Party was 40+ minutes late. This was inconsequential, as I would assume this vendor knows the importance of timing on a wedding day. We sincerely hope a Bride or Groom or anyone reading this thinks twice before booking with this vendor – A Garden Party. Their lack of service, respect for customers is utterly shocking. At the end of the day, we do not know how these types of people and “businesses” exist.

A Garden Party delivered on the most stunning wedding bouquets and flowers that we have ever seen for our wedding in January 2017. They were incredible to work with in planning - detail oriented and professional. They took some photos we had found on the internet, and brought them to life, even more beautiful than I could have imagined. They incorporated a brooch from my late grandma and bouquet charms into my bouquet seamlessly, and everything was just perfect. Highly recommend them - they are incredible!

Mary and Dawn are completely awesome - as is the whole team at A Garden Party. They made my Pinterest Board literally come to life. Their flowers are stunning. They are so fun to plan a wedding with. And they go above and beyond on your actual wedding day to make sure the details are just perfect. What more could you ask for?! Everything I asked for they delivered 100x better, and they took my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception to another level of beautiful. Totally in love with this company for their passion, unbelievable talent, and sisterhood, and I would recommend them again to any bride who just melts over flowers and really pretty things.

Mary and Dawn and the whole Garden Party team were amazing! From the very first meeting, we felt that they listened and understood the vision that we wanted for our wedding. We wanted a "Rustic Vintage" wedding with lots of succulents and a more masculine feel. Awesome and quick communication. Very professional. The day of the wedding everything (boutonnières, bouquets, centerpieces, flower girl basket, ring bearer moss pillow, aisle decorations, sweetheart table, chuppa, & all the extra little touches) was absolutely perfect! They were great to work with! I can't say enough great things about them!

Our wedding flowers were absolutely amazing, and so many people commented on them. They are easy to work with, and totally listen to you about what you would like. My husband and I were married on August 15, 2015 and are so thankful we chose A Garden Party as our florist for our church ceremony and country club cocktail hour and reception. The sisters of A Garden Party, Mary and Dawn, were so easy to work with! They really listened to my vision for the day and were able to create such beautiful floral designs and decorations (we used a vintage birdcage for cards and rustic windows for our seating chart) while being very respectful of our budget. My sister even had them create the centerpieces for my bridal shower! All of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything looked during the reception so you can imagine how happy they were when I told them that Mary and Dawn had created centerpieces that they could take home with them! I will continue to use A Garden Party for all of my floral needs and I would highly recommend them, not only for your wedding, but for any event you want to make extra special!
