recommend Angela to ANYONE looking for a photographer! -Alyssa & Cam

. When we first began shopping around for a photographer, we naturally focused on the quality of the work, which brought me to Angela after seeing her work in a wedding blog. At the time we did not realize just how important it was to also have a photographer that focuses on what you want, is prepared and organized, and has a personality that works well with yours. We hit the jackpot with Angela and we are so incredibly grateful. Looking back, there was so, so much Angela did behind the scenes to truly maximize her time and talent to make sure she delivered a product that exceeded all our expectations. First, she reached out ahead of our wedding to meet us for the first time to get to know who we are and gain an understanding of exactly what we wanted and how she could deliver just that. We had a wonderful coffee date where we got to know each other and drew up a plan for our wedding day. We felt like we'd made a friend by the time we left! She created a schedule for the day that balanced the memories we wanted to preserve through her camera lens with our desire to still enjoy every aspect of the day we spent all year planning. We still enjoyed our cocktail hour with friends and family, yet also have beautiful portraits with our wedding party. She also spent time ahead of our event scouting beautiful places to shoot at our venue while paying close attention to the time of day she would be shooting and where the natural light would be. She fit those spots into the schedule of our day so she could grab those beautiful shots without taking us away for too long. When it's your wedding day, you so overwhelmed with all the love around you that the last thing you're thinking of is making sure your photographer gets all the shots you want. Angela had such a warm yet focused approach that she was able to wrangle all our family members, check every photo request off our list, and do so quickly without sacrificing quality. Looking through our album, we have EVERYTHING we asked for. And so much more. And brides, Angela has your back. There was a moment when I was first arriving at the venue and some guests had already arrived about an hour or so early (we did first look shots ahead of the ceremony). I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and Angela kicked into mode and began pretending as though she was directing me to a certain location, simply to save my sanity so I could have a few moments to myself. I was so thankful. I simply cannot say enough good things. We are so thankful for Angela.

ined up. She then did not show up early enough like we talked about to get getting ready pictures for the guys and the girls. No pictures of us getting our hair done, makeup done, candids, drinking champagne... nothing. She didn’t take pictures of our wedding rings. She took about 25 pictures of the groomsmen and 3 of the bridesmaids. Multiple of my group photos and some of my husband and I are out of focus. Couldn’t find a picture of me and one of my bridesmaids or a picture of my husband and his siblings. Had to ask where they were and she “found” them. Couldn’t find one of the bridal party shots that I was extremely excited for and asked her and she replied that her camera must have “froze up” and she didn’t have them. She didn’t edit out the bruise and scar on my arm as well as a few flies that were on my arm in some of the pictures. She didn’t get some pictures I wanted. She blamed not getting more pictures with the girls on the fact that we had to stop at the nursing home to see and take pictures with my grandfather (which was extremely important to me) which we had already planned out in the timeline. She took hardly any pictures on the dance floor of the reception (which I told her that I wanted) and the ones she did was completely on one side of the dance floor and all of my husbands side of the family and the same people over and over again. 2 of my guests saw Angela sitting on the couch in the lobby of the reception hall while she was still on the clock for a long time while people were on the dance floor. Then someone came up to her and asked if she minded that they were taking pictures on the dance floor to which Angela replied that it was fine and that she only took “still” pictures. When I asked if she had more pictures on the dance floor (which I can see she did because she doesn’t change her picture captions so you can see exactly how many pictures she took- and there was a huge gap of numbers) she found an adorable picture of my brother and sister in law and their son, who were all in the bridal party, and a picture of a husband and wife couple on my side who were the parents of a wedding Angela shot 3 months earlier so she knew exactly who they were and she never added those pictures. So it makes me think what other pictures she has that she hasn’t given me or that I can’t see. She might have pictures that would mean the world to us as far as memories and she’s hoarding them. I had several guests tell me that she seemed uninterested the entire time (which I noticed too) and some guests said she was rude and rushed through everything. All she wanted to do was get done and leave as soon as she could. When she asked how I wanted to resolve this, I told her that I wanted to see the rest of the pictures and she refused because she doesn’t give all of the pictures out. Completely ridiculous. While trying to talk to her about our concerns, Angela was completely rude. She didn’t care that we were upset and she never once apologized for anything she had done. ngagement photos with her first and she made us feel so comfortable. The photographs turned out amazing and we knew right then that we made the right decision. In the months leading up to our wedding, I reached out to Angela multiple times for referrals on other vendors she may know. She went above and beyond and gave me advice and excellent vendor referrals, making my wedding planning that much easier. On the day of our wedding, Angela was calm, professional, and prompt making sure our timeline stayed intact and that we got all of the shots we wanted. She was willing to travel wherever we wanted to take pictures and stayed 9 hours with us that day!! If you are looking for a photographer, don’t look any further! She did a phenomenal job and really knows how to capture those special moments and make sure you get exactly what you are paying for. Worth every penny!!!
