Certainly the most reasonably priced caterer I had seen and will even create food items that he doesn’t have on his set menu. As for the actual wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect, literally no complaints. Kevin and Debbie were great during the whole process, answered all my neurotic questions and helped guide us through the planning. Kevin and our maître d’, Michelle, were there for us at every turn on wedding day - so considerate, helpful and anticipated all of our needs. We received so many compliments on the food, the bar service, all of the other staff and especially the decor. Michelle set up our sweet heart table beautifully! ys a staff whose goal is to make your wedding day run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Mike - our maître d' - was especially attentive and ensured my husband and I were never without food or drink, if we wanted it. We never had to ask. The staff helped pack up our belongings at the end of the night and were happy and polite while doing so.
Kevin worked with us on every aspect of our event, and allowed me to create a menu of my own. He responded to many emails and phone calls in a timely and friendly manner.
The food at the wedding was delicious. Our guests still comment on how impressed they were. The quality of the food served at our wedding far surpassed the food served at the group tastings Kevin holds throughout the year. We had a sit-down dinner but did not want our guests sitting through a long and drawn out dinner service. The staff was very efficient in serving and clearing all courses as we requested, while at the same time not rushing the guests.
In sum, we absolutely recommend McFadden's for your catering needs. We could not be happier with our experience and are grateful to have found a caterer who cared as much about our special day as we did. Five stars all around.

ur plans. He offered terrific advise since the wedding was outdoor and it would be a hot day in July. The day before the wedding the table & chairs arrived. On the day of our wedding, a wonderful matre'd, waitress and cook arrived. They made up the tables with linens, prepared the food and made a fabulous display in our kitchen with all of their serving pieces. At the end of the 4-5 hours our kitchen was clean and all leftovers were put in the refrigerator. I couldn't have asked for a better team. The food was outstanding and enjoyed by all!!! Kevin and the staff will create whatever dish you like and all of our add-ons were also reasonably price (we added shrimp cocktail to our cocktail hour and lamb chop lollipops to our meat station for dinner). I can honestly say, the food was a hit! Our guests raved about it, and my husband and I were so sad when our leftovers were gone. Aside from the food, we have many beautiful outdoor photos on the lake and in the surrounding wooded areas. This was a definite plus. We happened to have a gorgeous day weather-wise, but it wasn't looking like that would be the case, but I never worried because there were indoor ceremony accommodations if needed (luckily they weren't!). I was a little nervous leading up to the wedding because things change so suddenly that last week (guest numbers change, etc) but it was definitely helpful that Kevin is readily available via phone or email. The office staff were very helpful as well especially as final counts were coming in and final payments were being made. I would definitely recommend this venue to any bride who wants great food, gorgeous scenery, and guidance at an affordable price.

The menu there is really flexible - we were going for a Summer BBQ theme and the slow roasted beef and blackened tilapia were awesome! simply incredible! Kevin worked with our budget to make our day truly what we wanted it to be and even let us bring in some of our own desserts. I am originally from Philadelphia, but was living in Colorado when planning our wedding and Kevin was so quick to take any of my phone calls, emails and text messages..even if it was something silly, which I really appreciated.
The wedding ceremony and reception themselves went off without a hitch. They provide you with a personal "maitre d" (who was awesome) who helped run everything smoothly and made the moms and grandmoms feel super comfortable too, which was so important!
The food was great, the bartenders were great (they even helped make my "signature drink" better--and people were asking me what was in it for the next week bc they loved it).
The site itself is beautiful being right on the lake (our pictures came out great) and our guests enjoyed being able to be inside or outside. I was a total DIY bride, so its also a great space to make your own!

The venue was open for decoration as early as we needed. We had our ceremony there and he was open to us doing happy hour before and after (to help ease my anxiety). He helped us with our menu and was open to things outside the norm. We even had our dogs at the wedding. Anything we needed to make this day perfect for us we found at Lakeside Manor. Everyone said this was the best wedding they had been to.

We can not say enough about the location, the food, and the how accommodating everyone at Lakeside Manor was. Kevin allowed us to make major changes to our menu, and they came out amazing. Every attendee of our wedding raved about the food, notably the Tortellini in Champagne Cream Sauce.
One of the most remarkable features of the Lakeside Manor was the scenery outside. Kevin allowed us to bring a small enclosed fire pit for our outdoors smores bar, and it was amazing! At some points in the night there were more people outside enjoying the scenery, a tasty smore, or a premium cigar, then there were inside!
All in all Kevin made an otherwise crazy to plan event fairly smooth. We were allowed time to setup, he was on the ball with any detail that he could handle, and really took care of us. He's energetic, excited, passionate, and maybe (just a little) eccentric. But it's that classy kind of eccentric of an artist, or anyone clearly passionate about what they do.
We certainly recommend Lakeside Manor, and we will absolutely make use of their services again in the future. Their website said something about a pig roast, and that just sounds like a good time. If you're in Southern New Jersey and want to have a great time, with great scenery, and amazing food; there's really no other option than Lakeside Manor.

Kevin and his staff were so on top of things that I didn't even know that guests arrived way early so the food and alcohol had to be ready to go... and they WERE! Guests were not aware that there was a quick scramble to accommodate them because Kevin and his staff didn't even hesitate!
The location is beyond gorgeous with the lake and the old Paint Works stacks allowing for incredible pictures and an incredible view. Even the "tent" has character in that it gives the outdoor feel but still has all of the perks of an indoor venue such as air conditioning, a key element for a late June wedding! My only complaint would be Kevin can be a little high strung, but I think to be in this business you have to be. All the staff was very nice and all congratulated me and commented on how nice the wedding was. To me that showed they truly enjoy what they do and very happy to be part of our big day. I found it by accident when I saw that McFaddens' was one of the caterer choices for another venue. As I was looking at their menu, I saw that their home base was in Gibbsboro and I fell in love as soon as I saw it.

A decent amount of plants and flowers were planted in the garden area, so if you did not want to spend more on flowers, you would not have to. It is easy to get to, plenty of parking. He made sure throughout the entire night that I was ok and didn't need anything. Our bartenders were amazing! People didn't even have to ask for drinks. Once the bartenders saw them, they remembered and prepared each persons drink ASAP. Many people told us that the bartenders were unbelievably great. I would definitely recommend Lakeside Manor.
