shoot before hand to get used to being photographed and we are generally fairly awkward when it comes to posing. Megan made us feel so comfortable and had such a great eye for how to pose us in ways that were flattering. She went above and beyond what i had expected. She met us for coffee to go over details and look at the venue and then showed up early the day of the wedding to make sure everything was ready to go. She was organized and assertive when it came time for family pictures- a huge help given the rowdiness of our crowd. She is all around very talented and runs her business well. I really can't say enough for how pleased i was with how everything turned out. I usually hate most pictures of myself, but I really loved all the pictures from our wedding day. There was a wonderful balance of the beautiful/dramatic shots and some really fun/silly ones. What really stood out to me about Megan's style was how she tried to captured our authentic selves, our personalities and how we truly look in real life. I went through a lot of photographers pages before I hired Megan and saw so much filtering and editing that it didn't look real anymore. Megan took beautiful shots, but they still looked like us. I would 100% recommend Megan for your wedding or event.

in Virginia while still living in California. We signed a contract for wedding photography in January after a multi-month search. Our initial interactions with Megan were pleasant and her posted rates are very reasonable for the quality of work she posts. Things turned south in mid-April when we received an email from Megan that stated "I have for the first time ever, double booked your date". This was alarming, especially given the clause in our contract with Megan that stated "Upon your signature, Megan Noonan Photography will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date.". We then had to first reclaim our original deposit (successfully, thankfully) and then find a new, quality photographer from across the country on short notice (still a work-in-progress) while personally eating the cost of our renewed search. Based on our experience with Megan Noonan Photography, this business is not managed reliably or professionally enough to be trusted with ~$3000 wedding photography experience. Since there are a ton of photographers in the area, I strongly recommend going with a different vendor.

king with her, we booked her for engagement/wedding photos. We did the engagement photos in DC and they turned out great. Her communication before the wedding and during the big day was awesome as well. I had some feedback based on our first session which she really took to heart. The day of she arrived early to scout the area and find good spots since it was her first time at the venue. Working with her on the day was awesome - she helped calm your (okay, mostly my) nerves, kept us organized and on-time, was efficient in getting needed photos done, all while having a lot of fun. I think the fun she brings to her work really shows in the photo. We were lucky too that she had some expired film and was willing to experiment with us - the old film photos turned out to be my favorite. They were spectacular. She has a great eye, a great spirit, and does wonderful work. Our photos came back very promptly and we couldn't be happier with them. I even had wedding guests follow up with me after to tell me they loved their interactions with Megan and the warmth and energy she brought when taking photos. Couldn't recommend her more highly.

res of each subject. Megan provides a complimentary engagement session as a part of her package along with full printing rights with any photo contract. The engagement session allowed both her and I (and the groom!) to feel comfortable working with each other. She made us look so cool that our engagement photos were even featured on the Brooklyn Bride blog. Leading up to the wedding, we emailed and spoke on the phone and discussed ideas of where and what to shoot and by the time of my wedding day, I had 100% confidence that she would capture the day in a way that suited the groom and my personality best. There was absolutely no need to worry or micromanage - Megan was always 100% on top of things and driving the conversation. Regardless of this review, her work speaks for itself (megannoonan.com). I highly recommend Megan and hope to have an opportunity to work with her again - whether a friend or family member's wedding, a boudoir session, or maybe a maternity session in the future!

e is very organized and adaptable. We had a rainy wedding day and she stayed positive and was able to find awesome locations for us to take photos. She never fear getting wet.

She took the time to meet with us before our wedding to visit the venue and go over locations for photos. Her work is stunning and I couldn’t have found a better photographer for our big day. If you still need a photographer, definitely contact Megan! She was such a joy to work with.

flexible. We had already looked at her website and blog, so we knew we liked her style (she has a unique and modern eye). Then, when we met with her in person, we felt like we really got to know her immediately. She was absolutely wonderful, so we booked with her the next day :-) Over the next several months, Megan was very prompt in responding to our e-mails. Also, she met with us about a month before our wedding at our venue, to find pretty locations for group photos. We appreciated this so much, especially because she had to travel quite far to be there. On our wedding day, she arrived about an hour early (wow!), and she went above and beyond in terms of finding places for us to get great photos. She was not aggressive or pushy...she was natural and genuine. She was very good at monitoring time, to make sure we weren't behind schedule or late to our cocktail hour. We also loved her sense of humor - she joked about being a "photo ninja" and she truly was! Overall, we think Megan is personable, creative, and easy going. We HIGHLY recommend her. and confident in her abilities and we had a very good feeling about her. I was not disappointed with even one aspect of her service. Actually, taking photos with her was one of the most fun parts of our wedding. She was so very engaged and in tune with the mood of the day. It was a truly wonderful experience. We had terrible weather on our wedding day, (cold, windy, intermittent rain) but Megan had such a positive, and excited attitude that she was able to completely tap into her creative flow to fully implement the setting. What started as a fear that the photos would suggest dreariness turned out to be an asset. ie. the wind blowing my hair and shaw out. The leaves blowing around. I credit this to Megan's keen eye and ability to interact with her client's needs and put them at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of the photos and her service was spectacular. As far as her value is concerned, she isn't inexpensive, but you literally do pay for what you get in this instance. I feel that for someone with her talent and skill-level that she is competitively priced. I can, with great confidence (and will), recommend her to all of my friends, family, and any bride-to-be who is looking for a photographer who will exceptionally capture the emotions and tone of your most very special day. e that you can feel very comfortable around which is a big deal for me. Megan took tons of pictures and unless I was dealing with her one on one I didn't even know she was there half the time. It was funny going through the pictures and going man how did she get that shot. I would so hire her again if I ever need pictures in the future.

preparing for our shoot Megan came up with an amazing and creative idea for our shoot location(s) and helped me create a "pinboard" of images. The day of the shoot she was above and beyond friendly, kind, creative, and helpful, and in fact did a softball "slide-and-grab" to make sure my veil didn't blow off the roof where we were shooting into the city below! When I got my images I was truly speechless. Her creativity, imagination, and eye for beauty and detail are incredible, and the result is a set of breathtaking images I will always cherish. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to any bride who wants photos that are more beautiful and different than any other bride out there!

the more traditional engagement and wedding sessions. Megan met our needs and more. We absolutely love our photos! Megan was able to capture our true essences in our engagement photos and on the day of the wedding. Even our guests rant and rave about how great she was!!

professionalism, she helped keep the entire 300 person wedding on track and kept me sane with her humor and sweetness. I would recommend her over and over again. The engagement shoot we had was also phenomenal and our guest book is gorgeous. I'm excited to see what she will create for our wedding album!

of the photographers that we met, told us all about Megan and her amazing work. So we checked her out on her website, and learned that she was very creative, catches every moment, was willing to travel, and the best part of all, in our price range! We quickly emailed, set dates, and began a payment plan. (Thats right-she does payment plans!!) On the day of the wedding, she was very attentive to detail, loved to just chat and learn all about my husband and I, and took some very amazing pictures!!! She even stayed longer than expected to catch some really priceless moments! When we got the reel of pics on zenfloio, we were able to relive every moment! She did a great job with editing, and even used black and white, and sepia in some of the pictures. All of them were priceless! Still have not made a album yet, because I would like to buy them all! Great choice, and I would reccomend her to anyone! Also check out her maternity and baby pictures! They are adorable!!! All in all, 5 stars!!!
