North End was a great choice from start to finish. We had a fantastic tasting of a delicious dressed-up farm feast: bbq brisket, chicken roulade, green beans, slaw, and garlic mashed potatoes. In spite of a staff change in the catering departme...nt, our plans went off seamlessly the night of the wedding. Our guests raved and several people said that our wedding food was the best they've ever had!
The only critique I have of NEC is that the wait staff seemed a little slow to manage the tables - waters were not filled, the buffet wasn't set with utensils - and the bar staff caused a rush to the gas station when they said we were out of beer (oh no!) even though we had half a keg left.
Otherwise, the food and service was great. North End is one of our favorite local restaurants and we will be sure to recommend them to anyone looking to cater an important event.
