Casual Outdoor Event Space on San Juan Island
Bringing back craft since 2017, San Juan Island Brewing Company is an award-winning brewpub set in the beautiful and awe-inspiring San Juan Islands of Northwest Washington in the town of Friday Harbor. We are family-owned and operated and brew highly session-worthy, true-to-style beers, specializing in Old World Ales and Lagers.
Our outdoor patio space is the perfect casual and rustic venue for wedding welcome events, bridal showers, and parties. The outdoor patio has a capacity of 30 to 250 people, where we offer bar service directly to you and your guests, with nine San Juan Brew beers and one rotating cider option, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Furnishings include large picnic tables and cocktail tables for mingling, with two additional fold-up tables (which require linens) for food placement.
Our restaurant kitchen can only accommodate guests in our dining room area, even takeout from our restaurant. We highly encourage and welcome any outside food and have an excellent list of local caterers on our website.

We hosted our family welcome event at the brewery and we had a wonderful time. The staff was so thoughtful and accommodating and made it so easy. We also love the beer!

We hosted a Wedding Welcome Party at San Juan Island Brewing Co. Their team was amazing from the beginning for reserving the space. We were blown away by how wonderful Sarah, Charlotte, and the bartender were. They made sure we were always well taken care of and accommodating to serving a welcome party of 85 people!
You can’t beat great beer and good food in an amazing location but when you add great service, it’s a total home run! Only suggestion is heaters for the patio area!

We hosted our wedding weekend kickoff at San Juan brewing co and it was the absolute best way to kick off our big weekend. The staff was so great to work with- very responsive and quick to get back to us any time we had questions. We had the outdoor lawn space which was so ideal for a beautiful July evening. We brought in our own cornhole boards and guests were able to purchase their own drinks outside. It was such a great evening and I would highly recommend this place for any type of event.

Our youngest son was married on San Juan Island. We held the rehearsal dinner at the San Juan Brewing Co. It was a pleasure working with Charlotte during the planning. I did all of the planning via phone from California. My calls and messages were returned promptly. All of the information that I needed was readily available.
The day of the rehearsal dinner went off without a hitch. Charlotte kept in touch with me throughout the day. The outdoor site was perfect even in the rain. I would definitely hold another event there. Thank you Charlotte and crew for making our dinner go smoothly.
