e menu we selected and tasted was not the same as day of the wedding. There were items that were added, there were items that were cheaply produced (Examples: The pies were supposed to be hand size with 3 types of filling, we received a portion of our order, it was bite sized, and it was all crust. The pretzel balls we ordered came out looking like frozen erasers, the pigs in a blanket were burnt). We sat with them multiple times to review the food and bar menu, we explicitly instructed that one type of beer would be incredibly popular, and even gave suggestions (such as kegs) to ensure they did not run out, and it was out early into the evening. While they did a beer run several times, it was the single thing we focused on, and we were even told through multiple reference checks that they ran out of beer. Unfortunately for how wonderful the event was, the single thing I continue to focus on was the poor food quality, and the fact that what we tasted was not what was served to our guests. We were notified weeks before the event that their top chef had left, which looking back was a telling sign of what would come. The owner lacks attention to detail, she asked for clarification on one of our menus two days before the event. We did everything in our power to make her and the team successful (multiple meetings, menu documents, checklists etc), but ultimately CVC catering fell short on their promise. Poor execution, lack of detail and tasteless meals. Catering is such a critical piece of your day, don't taste time and energy on a substandard service.

d not disappoint! She worked with our wedding venue to make sure that all of the details were taken care of. And they were! It was a pleasure meeting and working with Nancy and her team. Five stars are not enough, they deserve Ten!

e even met us at the rental place to go over everything together! She did everything we asked for, including serving champagne at the train (we rented the Narrow Gauge Train for our guests). Overall great experience!

promised to help set up and run the timeline for the night didn't show up (possibly because her chef and staff either quit or were fired days before our event and she sent a crew of people who had no clue what they were doing). We missed our toasts, our first dance was never announced, we ran out of food, our leftover cake was lost... I submitted a complaint and she admitted we didn't receive the quality promised and reimbursed us about 5% of the cost when we thought we should have received at least 25% to make up for everything she screwed up. Such a disappointment.
