We married this past summer near Frederick, MD. When we started wedding preparations - we came across an article in the paper about The Organized Bride. My now husband and I stopped by with little expectation since we didn't have much luck with other venues finding invitations (we found it to be very overwhelming in many stores - and those staff weren't trained on to 'help' us order, only to point us to a binder and tell us to 'look' through the book).
Upon first glance, the store is adorable and has an array of things needed on your wedding day - so it enticed me from the get-go.
The co-owner (Tara) met with us and was absolutely wonderful. She showed us invitation options by working around our initial thoughts and showed us a plethora of sample invitations. Her prices were very affordable - especially for those of us who are not crafty ourselves to make our own invitations. Additionally, she helped us with the verbiage to display in our invitations - we had NO clue how to word things, what type of information we needed to provide, etc.
We had such a great experience ordering our invitations with her, and also noticed her prices on in-house printing were quite reasonable - so we used The Organized Bride to purchase our wedding programs, table numbers, escort cards, and favor cards. (All of which btw, we originally planned to create on our own.)
Throughout the process, Tara and the team there were wonderful. The staff was always friendly and patient, and she was able to send me proofs via email since I live in DC and was unable to meet frequently in Frederick. When my invitations were delivered (I ordered booklets, with inserts and specialized personalization cards for each guest) The Organized Bride put everything together for us - which I was NOT expecting. It was so great to pick up the invitations and not have to worry about gluing the personalized names to each invitation. For in-house printing, she was able to pull JUST the right colors and everything matched and flowed together perfectly! We received so many comments on the overall look and quality of our printed materials.
In a business (wedding business) where my husband and I have found not all vendors to be 1. patient, 2. happy or 3. trustworthy - we were so happy that we received all from this store. I never had a doubt that our orders would be ordered and delivered exactly the way we wanted them - which was such a huge stress reliever.
I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to plan a wedding. They have such a wide array of options to provide printing support, in addition to so many other items - that I found it to be one of our best Vendor experiences. When we have other printing needs, we plan to work through The Organized Bride again because they are 100% reliable.
