Coco Gauff's boyfriend is rumored to be Jalen Sera. In a 2024 Time profile, the tennis player confirmed she's been dating someone for about a year. Though she declined to share his name in the profile, she did say that he's from her hometown of Atlanta and is not famous. "This is my first real relationship," she told the outlet. "To just have someone to talk to who is not involved in tennis at all gives me a fresh perspective."

Interestingly enough, Gauff's connection to her boyfriend goes way back—because her mom, Candi, was his fourth-grade teacher. "My mom always said, if they're bad in school, they're probably bad as adults," Candi told Time, giving her daughter's boyfriend the seal of approval. "He's always been a smart, nice kid."

Gauff shared more details in a 2024 cover story interview with Vogue, confirming that her boyfriend is not an athlete.
