She's a financial consultant

According to the Daily Mail, Seaborn completed an undergraduate degree in molecular biology at Durham University in the U.K. After that, she moved to America to study at Duke University's Master of Management Studies program. She eventually became a senior consultant in risk advisory at Deloitte.
She's also a field hockey superstar
Seaborn started playing field hockey at Durham University in the U.K., where she led her team to the British University championship in 2012 and 2013. She continued playing at Duke University and now plays recreationally when she can.
Like Sheeran, Seaborn is friends with Taylor Swift

Sheeran and Seaborn are both friends with Taylor Swift. According to People, the couple actually had one of their first dates at Swift's annual 4th of July party at her Rhode Island mansion in 2015.
Seaborn had a tumor during pregnancy
In a cover story from Rolling Stone, it was revealed that Seaborn was diagnosed with a tumor when she was six months pregnant with her second daughter, Jupiter. She needed surgery, but it would have to wait until after she gave birth. Seaborn and Sheeran discussed the idea of delivering Jupiter early, but she ended up carrying her daughter to term and having a successful surgery afterward.
She's always been a private person
In an interview with The Elvis Duran Morning Show, Sheeran explained that Seaborn doesn't want to live her life in the spotlight. "She's always been a private person. She's never had a public Instagram. She's never done a red carpet with me," he said. "We've always been super private. Our private life is our private life."

Sheeran and Seaborn actually met when they were little kids. "I've known Cherry since I was 11," Sheeran stated in an interview with People. They also both went to Thomas Mills High in Suffolk, England. However, they grew apart when they went to separate universities, ultimately and eventually reconnecting in 2015.

According to People, Sheeran and Seaborn started dating during the summer of 2015, after attending Taylor Swift's 4th of July party in Rhode Island.
"Well, our anniversary is her 4th of July party," Sheeran shared. "It was around then, and we reconnected. I went on tour again, and then I went to Taylor's 4th of July party. I was texting [Seaborn], and she was like, 'I'm in Rhode Island at a 4th of July party,' and I was like, 'So am I.' I kinda said to Taylor, 'Can I invite one of my old schoolmates?' The rest is history."
2016: The couple take a year off together

According to Brides, the couple took a year off together to travel. "We were basically like, 'Let's both quit our jobs and let's have a year of forming a tight bond and a relationship. So we went traveling and spent every day for a year together," Sheeran told Zane Lowe during a 2017 conversation that is no longer available to view.

In January 2018, Sheeran announced that he and Seaborn got engaged over the 2017 holidays. He posted a cute photo on Instagram, along with a caption that says, "Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx."
January 2019: Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn have a secret wedding
According to an interview on Jessie Ware's podcast, Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware, Sheeran and Seaborn had a secret wedding in January 2019.
September 2019: The newlyweds throw a massive wedding reception
The couple hosted a larger, festival-inspired celebration in September 2019, so they could celebrate with more of their friends, family and colleagues. Per Hello! Magazine, their guest list was star-studded, including A-list names like Jennifer Anniston and Elton John.
September 2020: The couple welcome their first daughter

On September 1, 2020, Sheeran took to Instagram to announce the arrival of the couple's first daughter, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. Along with a photo of a knit blanket and tiny baby socks, Sheeran wrote a caption that says:
"Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you... Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I'll see you when it's time to come back, Ed x."
2022: Sheeran's family of three becomes a family of four

On May 19, 2022, Sheeran announced the birth of the couple's second child, another daughter they named Jupiter. He shared a photo, similar to the one he posted in 2020, of a knit blanket and baby socks with a caption that says, "Want to let you all know we've had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x."

During an interview with Sheeran on an episode of British singer Jessie Ware's podcast, Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware, Sheeran discussed the secret wedding he and his wife had in January 2019. "Basically, me and Cherry had our actual wedding, was a tiny, tiny event with basically no one there," Sheeran told Ware. "We did it at night, on a random day in the middle of January in, like, the middle of nowhere, and basically no one knew, no one came to it. We lit candles, we got married, we went back, had a curry, that was it."
He went on to explain that his wedding party, which took place a few months later, was "more of a celebration of us and our friends, but I'm less, like, private about it. I just didn't want pictures getting out, which I was amazed it didn't."
In response, Ware, who attended the wedding party, interjected and said, "But babe, the security," referring to the no-phone rule that was put in place. "It was amazing," she added, "It meant that everyone talked to each other." Sheeran then said, "Everyone was just very present, which was good."
Ware revealed some of the guest names, including fashion designer Stella McCartney (daughter of rocker Paul McCartney), as well as musician Sam Smith. Sheeran has many celeb friends, including Taylor Swift and Elton John.
