Alison was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I am so, so grateful that she captured our engagement and wedding photos.
My mom was a wedding photographer & I used to be her assistant, so I knew I was going to be really picky about the photographer I chose. I wanted a photographer who would use light well and pose us naturally, and who I could trust to capture the important moments. And Alison was seriously the perfect choice.
Alison is extremely skilled at her craft. Our photos are full of natural light and warm color, and they capture all of the emotions I felt on that day. I feel so happy when I look at my photos. They are beautiful, and she captured every detail. She even handled my husband's HUGE Hispanic family in one gigantic group shot.
Working with Alison is really fun, too. She connected with us easily right away, and hanging out with her -- whether driving around for our engagement shoot or taking our bridal photos -- is so easy and relaxing. She kept us laughing and made our photos a genuinely wonderful experience. My husband and I still laugh about inside jokes we formed with Alison on our engagement shoot. I definitely can't say we made inside jokes with any other wedding vendor!
I could go on. We will cherish our photos forever. I am so happy I chose her, and if I had to do it all over again, I'd make the exact same choice.
I should have looked at the reviews about this photographer everywhere instead of just going off of Google. I thought she was going to be really good with people and punctual and capture a lot of "precious" moments.

Alison was hard to get ahold of on multiple occasions and when she finally does respond she doesn’t follow through with what she says she will do. Our photos were late, were missing important details, and overall we just weren’t happy with the service at all.
Alison is so bubbly and spunky that she made our wedding photo session go so smoothly. She specializes in candid photos, and we were easily able to achieve that because of how funny she is! My smiles and laughter were natural, and I really appreciate that she brought that out in me. I haven't seen her photos yet, and I am really curious as to how they turned out, but Alison is so great to work with. I was out of my comfort zone taking photos but Alison helped me break out of that comfort zone and relax. I had some communication difficulties with her at first because she talks so fast, but I quickly adapted to that. She is naturally so excited about your wedding day and taking your photos that her talking fast is part of her quirky personality and I got used to it. Alison is very professional and helpful in the planning of the wedding photography timeline. I also didn't really need to use some of her included services like the engagement session and the unlimited planning assistance, but it was so nice to have that as an option if need be. I highly recommend using Alison as your wedding photographer. She is very resourceful and has connections with many different types of wedding vendors if you ever need a last minute replacement or a vendor suggestion! She is great!
Very disappointed with Alison's work. Once we signed our contract she seemed like she "checked out" and was very uninterested in shooting our wedding. She was extremely difficult to get a hold of, missed appointments and cancelled on us more than once. As another client mentioned below, no creativity with the pictures - all of our formal photos were taken in one or two areas on the beautiful property where we got married. Virtually no photos with our families, etc. Very unhappy with our choice and would not recommend her.
Did not get nearly enough photos of my wife and I. Didn't even get family photos with just my parents and I. Was not organized and hard to get ahold of. No real creativity and we didn't feel like we got what we paid for.
Wow. I can't even begin to explain how wonderful Alison is. We hired her to do our wedding, and we absolutely made the right choice. While Alison was our photographer, she was much more than that. My girlfriends were so impressed by her service, they thought that she was the day-of coordinator! She really knows weddings. She did a phenomenal job with our engagement shoot and our wedding. She was professional, courteous, and her work is amazing. In addition to her work, her customer service skills were just on point. Hire Alison, you won't regret it!
Alison is sweet, professional, accommodating and all around amazing! I had the pleasure of working with Alison for our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner and wedding photos. She was always punctual (even with the long drive to our venue) and ready to jump right in. Alison knows how to read people and really made the most of all each environment. We chose to have our photos done before our ceremony at 2PM in the peak sunlight (and heat) of the day, and they still turned out amazing. I can't recommend her enough!
My husband and I were extremely impressed with Alison's work! She was incredibly personal, she responded promptly to all email questions, she helped run our rehearsal walk-through, and somehow managed to capture so many precious moments of my husband smiling (which is not an easy task). Alison also worked well with all of my vendors and day-of coordinator to make our wedding a success. I would highly recommend using Alison as your photographer- you won't regret it!
