There are drone shots of a city we do not even know, nothing related to us or our wedding. The date to receive our wedding video was pushed back 3 times. Please save your money and go with a much more professional, reputable, and high quality company. We are so saddened by the videos we received and how much of a waste of money they were.

We are now 6+months past our wedding with no video received and the "company" will not respond to our emails. I've begun the process of making a claim against them in small claims court, however honestly even finding out their actual identities is almost impossible with all the redirection and lack of information on their websites.
I'm hoping TheKnot can help me get in touch with these other reviewers to combine our resources in identifying these people.

We hired Blu Couture based on these reviews but should have gone with another company. They started out great until the day of the wedding. We were told one of their own...
videographers would film our wedding. Instead we got a contracted videographer. (they were great and professional nothing wrong on their part) But for the amount we paid we should have been told who was actually shooting our wedding. After the wedding day everything went down hill. We were initially told 4-6 weeks for the wedding video. We bought the full documentary and highlight recap package. After 8 weeks passed and many emails we had not heard back from anyone. Finally after 3 months they responded saying it would be between 3-5 months for the video. (I am a video producer for my career and shoot weddings on the side. There is no reason for videos to take this long. Especially with out telling the clients up front.) At the five month mark we received website link protected videos. They were good. Nothing exceptional in the editing (well shot by the contracted videographers) The email stated for us to give the okay so they could give us a link to download the actual hard copies of the video. Not just the website link. 4 emails and a month later we have not heard back from them, again. I would not advice this company for your wedding. Very little communication or professionalism.

I spoke to Marty a good sales guy. They have the payment set up that you pay in full a total of 4k before the wedding. The videographer showed up and they did the job. Luckily there subcontractor. But the communication just dropped afterwards from blue cotour.

I do not recommend Blu Couture Wedding Films. Against my better judgment I went with this company to film my November 2018 wedding; I typically don’t do business with companies I have never hear of, no one I personally know that has used them...

My husband and I have paid for our wedding film in total and on time and have yet to receive any film and communication with the company has been slim to none. We wanted to get our film back before my husband deployed for a year, or at least an example or update on how the film was going-- we have not gotten ANYTHING. And continue to get the run around about what is seemingly happening behind scenes. We got the smallest package (which was still costly for what is offered) and it is beyond us why it is taking 5 months to get it finished, to get anything finished. And at the very least offer where the company is at on finishing or even starting our film. Your wedding is one the most special times in your and you spouse life and you should not have to deal with lack of communication and risk wasting money on what appears to be a scam for such a special service, that is having a visual memory for such an important day. My husband and I are extremely frustrated and will be escalating this matter. Please save yourself a headache and the heart ache for potentially missing out on getting video memorabilia for your special day; DON’T use Blu Couture, there are plenty of other companies that will offer better service and I wish I would have went with someone else. DO YOUR research and don’t impulsively jump at the first deal that seems great.
