Our cake was delicious and gorgeous! Exactly what we wanted. We selected 3 flavors and each of them was absolutely amazing. Lisa helped us pick the best combinations for each of our 4 layers. Would definitely recommend Chocolate Bar Cafe!

Lisa made our wedding cake for at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. We chose carrot and chocolate fudge and both were so delicious and flavorful with great texture. We had two different types of filling (chocolate fudge, cream cheese for the carrot...

) then buttercream on the outsides. She finished the cake exactly how I had shown her in an inspiration photo I brought. I was looking for something simple and elegant. The tasting was stress free and fun, and Lisa was so gracious with us during the entire process. The shop is so fun to visit. We can't wait back to get some more cake! We did end up eating most our wedding cake topper (which she delivered a box for us to use) on the wedding night, but we did save some of it in the freezer - it wont last long. Many guests commented on how delicious this cake was. Lisa was accommodating, thoughtful and fair in her prices. Would recommend without reservation!

Lisa is great! We did custom cupcakes and a top tier in lieu of a wedding cake and Lisa did everything to make our custom cupcakes beautiful and make sure we got what we wanted. Whatever your vision is, the Chocolate Bar Cafe can make it happen...

and at SUCH a reasonable price. Lisa was able to provide more flavors than any traditional wedding baker, she was able to make the cake super moist and yummy, and she took care it setting everything up and providing the extra supplies needed for every last bite to be great.
