I went to Dianne for alteration of my Mother of the Bride dress. She is deeply knowledgeable and experienced, and her wonderfully calm, can-do manner was hugely reassuring. Her thoughts about shoes, purse, jewelry, etc. were extremely helpful. Having her as a resource took a lot of stress out of the whole process. Highly recommend!!!!

By far the best! I went to Dianne to have my bridesmaids dress altered. She was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and understanding. She is super personable and makes everyone feel comfortable and taken care of. I loved her so much I went back to get another dress altered and she was so quick and helpful.

Dianne has hands of gold. Dianne altered 2 dresses for an upcoming wedding. (I will be a guest!) What a fabulous job.Besides that she is a gem! You will not be disappointed.

Look no further! Diane took my dream dress that I bought off the rack (because it was discontinued) and made it fit perfectly on me. It was no easy task but with multiple visits we put our heads together and she brought it to life. I cannot thank her enough for all the hard work she did. Not only did she do my dress, she also transformed my sisters prom dress into a beautiful maid of honor dress and she also did some of my bridesmaids dresses. She takes the time to listen to you and what you want while also giving you her honest opinion! We will be using her in the future for any other alterations we need!

I first went to Dianne to have a mother of the groom dress altered. I'm not a regular size; extremely short; wide some places; thinner other places. She went the extra mile and had to more or less take some of it apart and remake it. The result was beautiful; a perfect fit and something I was proud to wear. I just picked up my second mother of the groom dress; it didn't need near as much as the first one but she has an eye for seeing how a dress could become absolutely perfect; just a bit more here or there and it went from 'nice' to stunning! Diane also looks at the whole package; shoes, what bra would be best, underwear, accessories. She is flexible and delightful to work with!

Dianne made me the wedding dress of my dreams. I wanted something unconventional and she knocked it out of the park! My dress was exactly as I had envisioned it and turned out so incredibly beautiful. It was an ambitious idea that she executed with great skill. I wish I could post a picture!

Dianne is THE BEST! She tailored the mother-of-the-bride dress for our daughter's wedding and also created a double thick shawl to match. She never overpromises or underdelivers. She lets you know immediately whether she can do whatever is needed in the time available. Dianne is completely trustworthy, pays meticulous attention to detail, and is an expert at her craft. She knows immediately what to do, what is wrong, or what won't work but lets you come to that conclusion without pushing her opinion. It doesn't get better than this!

Dianne was amazing. I loved my wedding dress when I brought it to her, but when I left with it after she’d done her magic, I LOOOVED it. She made some small alterations to improve fit, helped me with figuring out and affixing a bra, added a belt and best of all created a jacket/topper when I unexpectedly needed something to use as a coverup, last minute. She knows her stuff, and is willing to give you an opinion but won’t force it on you. Really one of the best (and least stressful) experiences I’ve had, through all the craziness that is planning a wedding.

Dianne is your real life fairy god mother. Not only is she warm and easy to work with but the quality of her work is unmatched. For example, I chose to wear a smoothing undergarment under my dress and Dianne was able to alter the undergarment so it fit me perfectly. Custom shape-ware essentially. Not only did Dianne alter my dress to perfection but she also made me a stunning faux fur caplet to go over my dress for the ceremony. A true gem! Thanks Dianne for making me feel incredible!

Dianne is a MAGICIAN. She helped me with a bridesmaid dress for my cousin's wedding, my mom's dress for my wedding, and then my bridal gown too! I have to make special mention of my gown. I bought it at a sample sale, so it already didn't fit very well. I also wanted to make tons of alterations to it, adding removable(!) sleeves and belts... Dianne did it all flawlessly. I really gotta think sorcery was involved. It was PERFECT. It fit me so well, the sleeves were exactly what I'd envisioned, and the belt was a perfect touch. I had a wonderful wedding mixing and matching my new dress accessories! Not to mention, she's lovely to work with and my mom and I had a blast coming to see her each visit! Thank you, thank you Dianne!!

Dianne was recommended to me by the bridal salon where I bought my gown, and I honestly couldn't have picked anyone more talented. I was very happy with how my gown fit until Dianne showed me little alterations she could make to truly make the dress fit like a dream. She has an amazing eye and very creative ideas on how to make your vision come to life! She is easy to communicate with, professional, outgoing, and truly gifted. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

Dianne was a true gift to this stressed mother of the groom. With a kind ear, a tasteful eye, and golden hands, she elevated my dress from ordinary to extraordinary with elegant beading around the neckline that looked like a piece of art. With equal flair and enthusiasm, she fashioned a matching shawl with the same beading that complimented and completed the look I had envisioned. And right to the last, she continued to nip and tuck the fine details as only a perfectionist would do. How fortunate to have found such a skilled and personable designer, educator, collaborator, sounding board, and neighbor!

My mother in law recommended Dianne to me, since Dianne worked on my sister in law’s wedding dress a couple years ago. I personally ordered my dress online and measured myself for it! You can only imagine!! When I first tried the dress on, it fitted terribly and I was freaking out!! Then I brought it to Dianne and everything changed!! Dianne did an incredible job fixing the length and adding some details to the dress. From not being sure if I even liked the dress at the beginning to absolutely loving it after Dianne worked her magic on it!!! I could not imagine working with anyone else. THANK YOU, DIANNE!

Dianne is terrific at her craft and an absolute pleasure to work with. She is an expert who not only listens to how you want the dress to look but has great suggestions on how to make the dress/gown, and ultimately you, look spectacular. As one not built for strapless anything, Dianne worked her magic to change my strapless dress to cap-sleeve, using material from the wrap that came with the dress, and added beading to the sleeve edges so they naturally blend-in with the design of the dress. It looks fantastic. She also put me at ease by expertly shortening the dress length with no impact to the intricate design and beading. And, being the professional that she is, Dianne was very amenable with a last-minute design change request to add a slim beaded belt to my dress. She had a vast assortment of bead belts to select from that she thought would look best with the dress. Her taste was impeccable. Dianne is a gem who I highly recommend.

Dianne does beautiful work. She shortened my Mother of the Groom dress which entailed removing and re-sewing on an intricate lace hem. Because she had done such a wonderful job on my daughters wedding dress years earlier I went back to her. She is patient, attentive and talented. Just wonderful!

Dianne was invaluable in customizing my wedding dress for me. She brings 40+ years of experience as a professional NYC bridal dress and lingerie designer, whose designs still remain in demand on the secondary market. I was anxious about the dress I chose, but she found creative solutions within my budget and helped me source the right undergarments to reduce the number of alterations and costs. Her personal service, time, and attention to detail are impossible to achieve in a "mass-production" bridal store. In addition to a great eye for design, she is a lace expert and a very fine seamstress who does her own work. She designed flattering and comfortable little sleeves to cleverly disguise my arms and found lace to match my dress. I completely trust and recommend her, whether for her custom design work or top-quality alterations and re-design. Her studio is COVID-ideal, and a peaceful, private, white-washed oasis overlooking nature where you receive her undivided attention.

Dianne is great! She altered two bridesmaids dresses for me and they have both come out perfectly! She pays attention to detail and always makes sure the length and fit is perfect according to your shoes and what you’ll wear underneath. Highly recommend!

Dianne was great to work with, again! She altered both my dress, as well as my daughter’s dress for my sister’s wedding. I was pregnant at the time when I first purchased my dress and was so worried it wouldn’t fit. Dianne researched ways to alter the dress if it were too small and made sure she had fabric and embellishment plans if I needed them. For my daughter, she encrusted her flower girl dress with pearls and crystals to make the dress extra unique, and also incorporated a custom capelet. It was so special! I can’t wait to work with Dianne in the future. She is such a local gem and I am so glad I found her. I not only trust her vision, but her work is impeccable and always to perfection. I just picked up my wedding dress and veil from Dianne, and I couldn't be happier!! She made extensive alterations to my lace dress including hemming it, bustling it, making it fuller, adding a belt and cups, taking it in and more. She also made my gorgeous lace-trimmed veil from scratch to match my dress perfectly. On top of all this, my wedding was postponed from this summer to next summer due to COVID. When I decided I wanted to wear my "real" dress at my impromptou elopment at the last minute, Dianne rushed to finish the dress and despite the condensed timeline, did not cut any corners to do so. Finally, Dianne is very responsive and really listens to concerns and does what she can to solve them. Choosing a wedding dress or getting one altered can be a stressful and emotional process - Dianne will be there every step of the way. I recently had Dianne make alterations on the dress I am wearing to my son's wedding. When I first reached out, she responded from Italy! Dianne is SO reliable and professional. Ten years ago, Dianne Keesee helped design and create a chic and perfectly fitting prom dress for my daughter. Fast forward ten years and I'm now the MOB of this grown girl . The gown I purchased was in dire need of major alterations for my barely 5'2" body. Fortunately for me, I remembered Dianne's excellent sewing skills. In addition to needing eight inches of fabric shortened from the length, Dianne advised that I wear a petticoat that would add volume and body to the bodice of the dress. She also suggested adding a fabric belt that was the perfect pop of pizzazz that made my dress complete! Additionally, Dianne altered my daughter's wedding gown. Like her mom, my daughter is of petite stature.....the number of alterations that was required is too detailed to state.....The end result of Dianne's labor is that my daughter's wedding gown fit as if it was custom tailored for her. Dianne not only excels at alterations......She possesses thoughtful, insightful and creative vision and could readily "fix" a complex design flaw with the gown's bustle. Dianne has the rare combination of being a consummate professional as well as a delightful and pleasant person. During our numerous fittings, Dianne always greeted us with her warm smile and tempered our occasional mother/daughter emotional moments with humor. Dianne Keesee's talent and service are exceptional....truly top notch!

My family went to Dianne first for my sisters wedding, which she went above and beyond for. We went back to her for my own gown for my wedding recently. We've now gone back to her to assist in building a gown for a friend. For myself, Dianne was very accommodating, timely, and does extremely good work. Her talent and expertise is incredible and her suggestions and feedback were very much appreciated along the way. She made time for any last minute changes I wanted as well. I feel incredibly lucky that my mother, Dianne, was able to create my wedding gown. It was so special to work with her to bring my gown ideas to life! She guided me through the process with her expertise, from choosing a style that fit me flawlessly, to picking the perfect lace, and making a matching veil. Her craft is second to none and no detail is too small. Dianne is patient and explained every step in detail to make sure it was exactly what I wanted, and she wasn't satisfied until it fit like a glove. I received so many compliments, and was so proud to wear my mom's custom creation on my special day. I was so happy with how it turned out, and at the end of the night, I didn't want to take it off!

Dianne is amazingly talented and I am so thankful for her incredible work to perfect my wedding gown! 10 years ago, Dianne beautifully created my prom dress and when it came time for wedding gown alterations, we knew she was our go-to person! My gown was fairly complicated when it came to altering the many layers, figuring out the unusual bustle, adhering the bow and other intricate details - nothing stumped Dianne! She was a mastermind and worked tirelessly right up until the end to ensure everything was just right. Beside her expert craftsmanship, Dianne is an absolute pleasure to work with. She always greeted us with a smile, we laughed a lot along the way and she was always responsive to my emails and very accommodating to my schedule (especially coming up from the city). I can't imagine what we would have done without Dianne - she's amazing.

Working with Dianne was an absolute pleasure! I went to her with what I thought was going to be a tricky situation. I was pregnant and was going to be a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding 3 months from when I first met with her. I was worried that the dress didn't have enough room to work with but Dianne assured me that it would be fine. Going for fittings was extremely easy, no waiting and she was never in a rush. She even had me come only a few days before the wedding to make sure everything was fitting properly and if not, she would be able to fix it within that time period. I highly recommend Dianne for all of your dress tailoring and/or dress making needs! She does fabulous work!

Initially I contacted Dianne to make a Christening gown for our first grandchild from my wedding dress. She designed a lovely heirloom that will be passed down through our family. On top of that, she made a beautiful bonnet and booties - the designs of which were nothing short of amazing. When it came time to alter a dress I'm wearing to my daughter's wedding - she painstakingly redesigned the neckline to make it look like a much more beautiful dress!! Dianne was always punctual, professional and most pleasant to work with. I understand Dianne worked as a designer in NYC for a lingerie company - and so her understanding of the way garments fit is really a talent you would only find in the garment district in NY. We are so fortunate to have her talent right here in North Salem, NY right on the CT border!
