NO SHOWS!!!! RUN!!!
If someone asked me, "What's the worst possible experience you could imagine having with a wedding video vendor?", I'd have to reply with, "the one I had because of Eloquence Ave".
In mid-March 2020, covid was starting to... really come down on the US, just as my wedding was coming up. The day before the wedding, my wife and I reached out to all vendors to confirm whether they could still perform on the day of the event, if they felt comfortable with the event; all replied to us. Eloquence Ave was the only one we had to fight to get in contact with, and when we did, we got the response that they were busy "at work" and would reply to us later... they never did.
THEN, on the morning of our wedding, they called us and told us they were cancelling on us because of covid (we would have completely understood if some new ‘stay at home order’ went out overnight, or some dramatic news came out, but NOTHING DID THAT NIGHT). I had to scramble and offer another vendor DOUBLE what I had already paid, so that we could have video of our wedding, so that my grandparents who couldn't travel because of covid could see their only grandson's wedding.
THENNNN, they had the audacity to tell us to be considerate, empathetic, and patient of them and their financial situation when we asked for our money back. They asked us to be considerate of them when they couldn't have been bothered to be considerate of US when we were desperately trying to reach out to them the day before the event.
They had the GALL to tell us it was ok for them to cancel on us on the day of because they were concerned about their health and safety, even though we literally tried to contact them about that very thing before the day of, exactly so that we could last minute plan a fix. They denied us the ability to even fix their failure. WE WERE LITERALLY THE ONES WHO REACHED OUT TO THEM ABOUT COVID AND WANTED TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO BACK OUT, AND THEY IGNORED IT, THEN PROCEEDED TO SCREW US OVER ON OUR WEDDING DAY, ACTING LIKE WE WERE BEING THE UNREASONABLE ONES.
Most selfish and air-headed bunch of fools who call themselves business owners I've ever had the displeasure of existing on the same Earth with.
Good riddance.
