We selected Jessicaa Roarke of EpagaFoto after an extensive search for the best photographers in Kansas City. What drove us toward Jessica and EpagaFoto in general was their bright and dynamic asthetic, since we were hoping for colorful and dynamic wedding photos. Jessica probably knew that it was Blair that chose her, but when it came time to decide where to do our first look, Jessica sided with Bobby and we all agree it was the right choice. Jessica knows what will make a moment and seeks it out throughout your special day, even when you are distracted or caught up in the details. On the day of our wedding Jessica and her second photographer captured every moment, from the quiet and meaningful moments of our ceremony and ketubah signing to the funny moments when one of the groomsmen split his pants. We can look back on our wedding album and re-live our joyful moments, as well as appreciate the artful shots that only Jessica could see. I don’t lose a second of sleep over the cost of Jessica and EpagaFoto… they were worth every penny and I can’t wait to enjoy their photos for a lifetime.

We loved epaga! Jessica and Mary Beth did an amazing job shooting our wedding. On the day itself, they brought a great energy - they were on time, they were in great moods, and they made everyone comfortable, which helped us get great photos, especially the candids of us and our guests. We also got all the more formal photos that my family really wanted (various combinations of siblings, aunts, uncles, extended family) - I was worried about these taking up too much time from our reception, but Jessica and Mary Beth were very efficient at organizing the shots. They also delivered on the discussions we had in advance about what we wanted to capture, making sure they focused on the people and moments we wanted. And, most importantly, we ended up with beautiful photos!! I absolutely love their style. I will definitely hire them again in the future and have recommended them to all my friends.

We loved working with Jessica and her team - they brought high energy to our wedding day and kept our large group excited and attentive during the longer photo sessions. I have known Jessica since high school and not only did she take our (amazing) wedding photos, but also my high school senior photos and our engagement photos. We had a truly fantastic experience with epaga, specifically with Jessica and Allyson. Allyson came to Chicago where we live to do our engagement photos and made it so easy for us. She spent way more time with us than we would have expected and the pictures turned out great. We used epagaFOTO from a recommendation from our Wedding Planner. We relocated from Kansas City to GA and met Hannah via Zoom, during our brief introduction getting to know her and her finding out what kind of photos we would like to capture we knew she was the perfect fit. You spend the most time with a photographer during the day of events and Hannah was great to work with. Whether it was corralling family member for large group photo or capturing moments at the reception with special guests we were very pleased. We had some transportation issues upon our departure from the Church and Hannah did an excellent job audibling and coming up with great photos as we had to skip some locations. I would recommend anyone to use epagaFOTO and request Hannah's services.

I picked Epaga because I really love the documentary shooting-style they bring to the table in regard to wedding photography. We do, of course, have the photos you'd expect, but Hannah went out of her way to find interesting angles and locations I hadn't thought of initially. I met Jessica back in 2018 while I was working with her at a wedding. When I got in engaged in 2020 I knew I couldn’t have anyone else be my photographer. She has already gone the extra mile since booking her. We currently live in Virginia and plan to get married in KC in 2022. She wanted to make sure we were comfortable during our engagement pictures and wanted our backdrop to be where we call home. She flew all the way out to Virginia to take our engagement pictures. We planned everything out and when it got closer to the day rain was in the forecast. She wanted to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted and even if there was rain, a plan was in place. If that meant an epic rain photoshoot or extending her time in Virginia she was going to do anything in her power to make sure we got everything we wanted. The weather held off and we had a beautiful session. Our pictures are amazing and my fiancé and I couldn’t be happier. We are looking forward to our wedding day with Jessica and her team!

We completed our engagement photo session with Hannah at epagaFOTO in April 2021. We could not have asked for a better experience!! We absolutely love our photos. Hannah listened to my requests and also gave great suggestions for locations/photo opportunities. Finding an incredible photographer for our wedding was our #1 vendor priority, and we absolutely found that in Jessica and EpagaFOTO. Our wedding was planned from start to finish in less than 3 weeks in the hopes my sister could attend as she was undergoing treatment for her cancer. I could never say enough amazing things about Jessica Roark with epagaFOTO! When I booked epagafoto I knew I was in good hands. They are one of the most reputable photography studios in KC and it only takes 5 minutes on their website to draw the conclusion that all of their work is simply stunning. However, I had no idea the extent to which the associates at epagafoto would help me not only develop my wedding vision but also execute my perfect wedding day. They go so far beyond capturing your day. They not only take time to get to know you and your SO, but they also help tremendously during the planning process and you end up feeling very taken care of by your photography team and especially your lead associate (i.e. your primary photographer). I booked with Hannah and I could not recommend her more highly. Hannah immediately clicked with us and she was always quick to respond when I had a question. She also helped direct and focus our day in a way that only your photographer can although you don't expect her to. Through conversations with her, we were not only able to identify the moments and details that were most important to us, but we really began to envision what our day would be like. In our planning process she was sure to make sure we thought of every conceivable detail-- did we want to do a certain tradition? who were the people most important to us? what unique family traditions should she be sure to capture? all the way down to, "if you want a portrait of your dress hanging in the windows don't forget to have a nicer-looking hanger!" She was full of advice when asked, offered tips and tricks of the trade, but most of all, she was there for us throughout the process in a way we didn't expect. Of course, with this level of service and expertise our photos also turned out beautifully (When you book with any photographer at epagafoto that goes without saying)! Bottom line: I cannot recommend Hannah or any of the photographers at epagafoto more. They are professional, exceptionally skilled, and all around wonderful wonderful people to work with!

From the moment I met Mary Beth I knew I had found the perfect photographer! I knew at that exact moment she was the photographer that I would pick. I cannot imagine having a different photographer for our wedding! We used Hannah Taylor for both our engagement photos and wedding photos. Planning a wedding from a different state was not easy and Hannah made the process seamless! When our transportation broke down the day of, Hannah and her assistant with out a doubt put me at ease. We got our sneak peak pics back SO quickly and everything was perfect! She captured our day perfectly. I would not recommend anyone else!

Our family has epagaFOTO on speed dial! Allyson has photographed two family weddings for us and we would consider her a friend. Our first wedding was a trial run with epagaFOTO and by the second wedding, once we had Allyson scheduled, I'm not sure we even discussed much of what we needed because we knew Allyson would perform to the standards for which we have become accustomed to. Our photographs were professional, special and captured everything we could have asked for on each magical day. If you want epagaFOTO for your special occasion and they aren't available, I would suggest changing your date!

Allyson was absolutely amazing! Our wedding was beyond perfect, and the photos she was able to capture prove just that! We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer. She was great in all aspects. So easy going and fun to be around and made our lives so easy. I can’t recommend epagaFOTO enough!! They are truly the best to work with from start to finish. I used Mary Beth Russell, and I have to say I can’t imagine having another photographer for both my engagement and wedding photos. Mary Beth’s attention to detail made for the most beautiful photos, and the personal attention she gives you is unparalleled. We shot engagement photos in the freezing cold in December and the wedding photos in the sweltering heat in August, and each time was a joy. If you are contemplating booking them, absolutely do it! When looking for wedding photographers, we knew exactly what we were looking. We started the process and met with a few. However, they didn’t seem to have quite what we were looking for. Once we emailed epagaFOTO, I could tell they were going to be “the one”. From the first email inquiring about their company, they were responsive, professional and down to earth. We set up a time to meet with our photographer MaryBeth and as soon as we met her, we knew. She got us! She was “the one” for us. From the engagement pictures to the wedding day, epagaFOTO treated us less like “clients” and more like friends. On our wedding day, they were prompt, accommodating and helpful. During our portrait time (just my husband and I) I was getting anxious having our wedding party just staring at us. MaryBeth took notice of this immediately. Instead of being annoyed or irritated by my awkwardness, MaryBeth calmly and discreetly asked the second shooter (Amy—who was also amazing) to take the rest of the wedding party downstairs for “other photos”. After they all left, MaryBeth looked at me and said “Better?”. Her attention to what I was feeling and willingness to make it better for me is something I will never forget. That is the extra step that epagaFOTO takes to make sure your day is perfect. Our weddings photos…OMG… they are absolutely perfect. They are crisp, artistic, candid, and capture our wedding day better than I could have ever imagined. I would HIGHLY recommend epagaFOTO as your wedding photographer. Mary Beth was incredible! She was so nice and easy to work with and her pictures were GORGEOUS! There was a point during the pictures on our wedding day where I was just getting so overwhelmed and I was hot and didn’t want to be outside anymore and Mary Beth noticed right away and changed our plan immediately so we could go inside. She was so wonderful and our pictures were truly perfect.

Hiring Jessica Roark and epagaFOTO for our August 2019 wedding was one of the best decisions we made! I interviewed several photographers, but ultimately selected Jessica due to her experience and body of work. Our wedding photos are classic, crisp, bright, and timeless! This was really important to my now-husband and me because we knew we would be spending all day with our photographer. Neither of us typically feel that natural in front of the camera, but you would never know it if you looked at our wedding photos! Our photos have an excellent mix of posed photos, candid shots, venue shots, detail shots, and family pictures. Jessica worked carefully with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure we had a well thought out plan for the day. Easily online scheduling is available and epagaFOTO's communication is top-notch. After the wedding, Jessica quickly provided us with a sneak peak and shortly thereafter gave us with a full set of 1,000 edited photos. We were BLOWN away! Selecting a high quality photographer was the best investment we made in our wedding and we couldn't be happier with Jessica, Hannah, and epagaFOTO!!
