d everything we needed and was so helpful. You can tell is great at what he does and has done a lot of weddings. I didn’t feel the same about our coordinator leading up to the day, krista. I felt as though i was bugging her every time i emailed her with questions. I’m not sure how many she has done. Overall we had a great experience!

the very beginning, the coordinators were extremely attentive and helpful in addressing all of our questions and concerns. The staff that worked our reception was truly amazing. They managed to break down the tables and flip the room for the nightclub without causing any kind of distraction or taking away from the festivities (which I'll have to admit was a bit of a concern of mine). The food was extraordinarily delicious, and we had many guests comment that it was the best food they had ever been served at a wedding. To sum it up, Eve is a truly magical venue for a reception. And with the amazing staff and food, I honestly can't imagine anyone being disappointed.

y concerned since we had a new event coordinator 3 weeks before the event. Kaui met with me and went over every detail. Day of she was beyond helpful, even providing us an intern who helped us decorate. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The food was delicious, everyone was able to get drinks quickly from the great bartenders and the 360 degree bar. I highly recommend the E.V.E. room. One thing to note- you will have a fairly douchy crowd waiting to rush into the room exactly at midnight, so I'd try and get guests out around 11:30.

the more reasonable catering prices we had seen while looking around and I heard from many guests that it was the best wedding food they ever had. We had some slight issues with the night of management but nothing that put a damper on the evening. EVE is a club that opens to the public. We had a contract that we'd have last call at 11:30 and the club would open at midnight. They asked the day before if we'd be willing to close down an hour early and we weren't. For the most part the transition was fine and no one noticed. It was a mad rush after our last song played at 11:40 to get the turn around complete for the club and it was a little annoying that people trying to get in to the club were lined up outside the venue while many of my guests were trying to leave and there was only one elevator so it was packed. BUT really, besides that, it was so fun and beautiful and a really cool place and I would recommend it to everyone.

sts all raved about the venue and loved having the lounge area around the dance floor. It was the perfect size for about 130 guests. Plus, it was super convenient for going out around town post reception and for walking across the street to hotels. I would highly recommend to others, especially if you're looking for a neat cosmopolitan, budget friendly venue in downtown GR!

ed about the parking, but we got the VIP valet tickets ahead of time, so it all worked out. My only complaint would be that the vegetables weren't what we thought we ordered. I would recommend the Eve wholeheartedly!

tant to us. The loft-like venue fit the bill, also the Gilmore Group catering is fantastic. We got a ton of compliments on the food (we had pot roast and a veggie terrine). The only downside was that we had to put some of the tables on the dance floor, then break them down after dinner- though that is really ameliorated by the myriad different nooks and crannies for guests to sit- the space is very lounge like. Another bonus- when it's time for your reception to end, the after party is easy to coordinate. The building has four floors of bars. We all went down to the second floor and ended up closing the place down.

$1300 and then expected me to pay for it. Once they looked at the bill they realized they over charged me per bottle and issued a credit, after I asked for the invoice (they were not going to provide it!) and noticed they had liquors I did not ask for and had over charged me for the champagne as well. They also claimed to finish every ounce of every bottle and charged me per bottle instead (somehow I still cant believe this since I know every time I have been there to see the venue the bar never has 100% full bottles on the bar) anyways my advice is to closely review your tab, be very clear if you don't want shots (also if you consider tequila on the rocks shots, I DO!)

e perfect reception. However, when we meet with them the day before the wedding, it was very different. We meet with different people this time, and they were not so accommodating, and were rude at some points. They didn't want any of the vendors to come in before 2:30 (the ceremony started at 3:30, and the reception at 4:30). I was made to feel very uncomfortable and guilty that we did not order any appetizers from them, we were on a strict budget. Their overall attitude at the meeting was very discouraging. When my mother arrived at the reception after the ceremony, the tables were set up wrong, there were centerpieces missing, name cards not put out, the head table was set up wrong, and the staff kept coming to her with concerns and questions, when they were told to either go to our Day of Coordinator, or the site manager. The bridal party was 15 minutes late the reception, and the food was cold already. They also kept removing tables throughout the night, which we knew they were going to do for the dance floor after dinner, but they ended up removing the vast majority of tables, making the space look very empty towards the end. Overall, I was disappointed with them. I was so excited to use such a cool and unique space, but was let down. I felt that for the money I spent, I didn't receive the customer service I was expecting.

the BOB are professional and knowledgeable. I planned my wedding from Chicago and only made 2 trips to Grand Rapids during the whole process. Charlie our event coordinator made everything run so smoothly. We had a small issue with an unhappy family member that found an issue with his drink and it was immediately fixed as well as they went out and got him Mtn Dew since they didn't carry it. I was very pleased that Charlie was honest with me, when this happened. Everything else was perfect. They had 145 people through the buffet line in 20 mins and ALL of our guests are raving about the food (gouda scalloped potatoes are a must). Eve is such a classy and modern venue and we had an amazing time, the switch into the nightclub was unnoticeable and Dr Grins cleaned up so well! Check out The BOB, it was awesome!

shroom sauce and the prime rib and everyone was raving about the food and how it was the best wedding food ever! Charie, who was the manager at our event, was so helpful and made sure that all my wishes were met. He even kicked out some wedding crashers for us! The bob was very helpful with planning and having them as a venue was not only cost effective but also very stress free! I would recommend them to everyone!

hey ever had. The manager on duty made sure everything went smoothly the entire night so that we could enjoy ourselves (we being the bride & groom). The DJ was awesome (JC from Xtreme Creative Entertainment, recommended by the BOB) and the dance floor was very active the entire night! Great relaxing atmosphere following dinner when tables were broken down and lounge furniture was brought out for the remainder of the evening.
