Kohls Department Store

I loved the products on my registry at Kohls! Kohls had great incentives such as 15% off for guests who spend $50+ on registry gifts in store (However coupons expired Dec2012- Kohls will still honor them, but it wasn't worth it attempting to explain that to 300+ guests). Also had a problem with the in store registries not updating often (got several multiples- however kohls took them back no problem for store credit) and even had problems with them not taking gifts off the registry at all (which stinks because those gifts don't get added to the 10% they give you on a giftcard after your wedding). Deals were great though and I am happy with the things we received, registring here was less overwhelming that it would have been at BBB

Lots of registry items go on sale!

I was excited to find our rings here on sale. We also bought them during the holiday season and so scored a bunch of kohls cash. It was easy enough to exchange ring sizes (I bought it online first).

Our guests had trouble finding the items we registered from instore and as a result we got nothing from our registry.

It was a good place to register, very helpful and easy for returns and exchanges!

Its nice we get a percent back, but the website kept changing. They didn't tell me when things were discontinued and left them on the website. Things weren't easy to understand and people ordered the same item.

We registered at Kohls in Baxter, MN and were very satisfied with our experience. Many of our guest shopped at Kohls for our gifts. We received many great gifts. Returns and exchanges were also easy.

We loved the fact that we received a gift card for 10% of the total amount that our guests purchased for us from Kohls! It was such a nice surprise to get the $150 gift card after all of the wedding excitement!

We registered at Khols for our wedding. One thing I noticed was they had a lot more online options than in store but it was great for the Fiest Ware dishes we wanted!

I'm not sure if it was just the store that I used to register, but every time I went the machine did not work, staff could not find any gift items, and things were always out of stock.

Kohls has a nice selection and was convenient for guests. Online registry is easy to use.

I was very disappointed with our wedding registry. We received multiples of MANY items because they didn't come off our registry. The kisoks were often down in the store and guests complained about the problems they had with them. I later found my china pattern at another store for 40% cheaper-before sales! I wish I had never registered here

We loved the 15% off everything left on your registry option and were able to find everything we wanted between the store and the items available online. Only complaint is that our guests had trouble choosing to have the gifts they bought online shipped to them instead of directly to us, though we didn't chose to limit that ability.

Bridal Registry was easy, fun and quick to do. Really was helpful for our guests as well.

Kohls is the easiest store to buy anything from. They ALWAYS have sales and they are SO good about returning stuff with or without your receipt.

Kohls has a wide selection of items which is great. However throughout the time prior to the wedding items continued to be unavailable and then available which was confusing for us and our guests. Now after the wedding when we want to get some items from our registry with gift cards we received they know longer carry some of the items.

We used Kohls.com to do everything, it was simple and nobody had problems with it. Your guests even get a discount and you get a card in the mail with a discount to purchase items you didn't receive. Only reason they aren't 5 stars is because I always got locked out of my account.

We did our registry here. Got everything we wanted. Plus they gave us 20% off whatever we didnt get at the wedding.

Registering is FUN but after the wedding when you need to return items is not fun. Kohls registery is not user friendly in store or online! We recieved THREE of many items. I know that it's not just Kohls fault because people forget to bring the registry up to the check out counter to take the item off of the list, but I still would not recommend making a large registry at Kohls.

Really good return policy and high quality product coupled with great coupons and kohls cash. It's true the more you know the more you kohls.

Kohls is my favorite place to shop, so it made sense to register there for my wedding! It was very easy to do and easy for my guests to check the list and buy!

My fiance partnered with a jeweler in town and he actually made my engagement right. Since it was custom and we didn't buy a wedding band with it, it was difficult to find something that fit the size of my engagement ring, but to my surprise, Kohls had the perfect, white gold, 2mm band that slid right in place and for a great price!

We used Kohls & was for the most part pleased with them. Their registry software needs a little tweaking but now that they have their Kiosks, it's super easy for people to order things the store may be out of. They didn't ever change their bedding selection much so we bought that at Target. Their new return policy is AMAZING & this made it easy for AFTER the wedding.

I love Kohls and their products! However, registering was somewhat a pain and trying to update my register online was hard at times too. However, the service was great!

Kohls was the best place I registered. From the process of registering to having gifts bought off the registry, to getting the discount on items we bought after the fact, Kohl's was easy to navigate and wonderful to work with.

My husband and I shop at Kohls on a regular basis, so we wanted to have a wedding registery through the store. It is the place to register at in Wisconsin. We had a blast registering in store and using the price gun. Kohls has the best prices and a great selection of products, but the store is not organized well, so our guests had problems finding items. The worst part about Kohls is the website. The workers forget to mark items off the registery, so we received duplicates. The website was slow, and when I attempted to add items online, it would log me off within minutes of searching. Our guests used Kohls more than our other choice for the prices, but prepared to deal with the slow website.

I shop at Kohls weekly. Anything I need-- Kohl's is always my go to. However, I had some friends and family tell me they had trouble with the registry. A few examples: The stores didn't have things on the registry. Something that was already bought didn't show up that it was purchased (I got doubles of 5 or 6 things because of this). Something was shipped directly to me and came broken. Something didn't get there on time even though it was ordered in plenty of time. Again, I've never had any trouble with Kohls and returns were easy. Even if I didn't have a gift receipt, I got merchandise credit--no questions asked. The only complaint I have is that you get credit for the lowest selling price in the past 12 weeks or something. So even if you receieved something that cost $100... if you don't have a receipt/gift receipt, then you may only get credit for $20... or whatever the lowest price it sold for. For example, I got a set of pillowcases that sells for $74.99 (I think)... and I got $21.54 for them.

We registered at Kohls and Target. Kohls was great, they have lots of options to register for, they usually have coupons for guests to use, they have a flexible return policy, and we even got a 10% Kohls Cash Bonus (up to $200 I think) on all registry purchases!

Only problem with Kohl's was that for some reason when I registered, there was no option for a different address where guests could ship their presents. In other words, gifts kept getting sent to my address only and my guests could not ship them to their own house! This created problems when they wanted to wrap their gift and bring it to the shower...so I ended up driving most of the gifts over to my parents' house and my sisters wrapped them before the shower for the guests. How crazy is that! I have heard others complain about the shipping problem, too. Also everything comes shipped in giant boxes with lots of bubble wrap, even small stuff, so if you are a conservationist/environmentalist you just have to suck it up and recycle all of it so you don't feel as guilty. However, Kohls always has quality items and I love how easy the return policy is because we did get doubles and triples of stuff, and then there's stuff you just plain change your mind on after the shower!

We got my husbands ring here and got it 80% off with the sales going on plus a coupon!

Kohl's just can't be beat! Completion program is great, and with the Kohls card, you can get better than the regular discount all the time. Wide variety of excellent brands too!

Kohls is a great store with lots of variety. On one occasion someone told the cashier to take an item off after purchase and said they did, but it was never taken off and a duplicate item was purchased.

I shopped everywhere for a ring that I'd loveeee... oh, and his wedding band too! I went into Kohls one day and luckily for me, they had this 60% off sale & we were able to get my bridal set AND his titanium band for right at $300! Then we had a Kohls' card and did a scratch-off at the register and received even more off! I'd definitely recommend Kohls for the couple on a budget and even the ones looking to spend a couple of thousand for their love ones! Happy Planning! :)
