We had DJ Tommy for our wedding last weekend- he was the BEST DJ we could have asked for. Insanely polite, super fun, sooo helpful. Just overall an amazing DJ from the meeting, to the planning, to the actual wedding. We would pick Tommy over and over again with zero hesitation!

We had Tommy as our DJ and are so happy with our choice! Meetings were quick and easy! Everything went smoothly and was on time! We hired Tommy from Sonus Entertainment to DJ our wedding and he was sooooo good! It was an easy process to meet with Tommy for a consult. Once the reception started his communication was excellent and he was able to incorporate everything we needed. The wedding went perfectly and he was a big reason for that! Once we got going, his communication was excellent, he was able to incorporate everything we needed, and the wedding went perfectly. He went above and beyond on our wedding day. We had Tommy as our DJ on 6/15/2024. He was okay. While he did great with music and kept the crowd on the dance floor, he lacked in MC skills. Many of our guest were unable to hear speeches, there was no nice flow to his announcements, and we had to request the music be turned up more than once. Tommy also waited to play multiple of our must play songs until we were out of the room for sunset photos, so we were disappointed that we missed those.
My biggest complaint was the two unannounced and unapproved speeches that kind of killed the vibe and dragged on. We were very clear in our pre-wedding meetings that we did not want any unannounced speeches from other wedding guests, so it should’ve been assumed we didn’t want them from the DJ either.
Overall, SONUS was easy to work with, but I would choose a different DJ!

DJ Tommy J was perfect! He maintained quick communication with us whenever we had a question. I like how the website was easy to maneuver and had pretty much all of our songs available. They provided helpful reminders for when things were due. If there was a song that wasn't a part of the list, then it was easy to add. DJ Tommy J kept us on schedule too and did it with ease, as it took a little extra time to bustle my dress, and therefore cut into our original timeline. He made sure to check in with the wedding party before our entrance into the reception to make sure that everyone knew their part. He kept the music lively. We have had so many great compliments on how it was such a great party and how every song was great. Truly had the crowd on their feet all night!

Thomas at Sonus was the best DJ I have ever seen. His class, his style, and his ability to get every person on the dance floor was nothing short of incredible. His ability to be a strong presence and emcee did not hinder or take away from the people at our wedding either. His mashups, hype, and excitement for our wedding permeated the dance floor. People danced and had so much fun until the very end of the wedding. I highly recommend Thomas at Sonus!!!

SONUS Entertainment was great for our wedding on November 10, 2023. We wanted a little different vibe than typical party music, and Dana got the vibe perfectly. She helped keep our reception moving smoothly throughout the night and checked in when she needed to. Their online portal makes it fairly easy to make your music selection and ensures that your DJ knows exactly what you want. I would recommend them for any large event!

BEST. DJ. EVER. My husband and I had an amazing experience with Sonus from booking to the wedding. Their website and consultations made planning SO easy. We were originally assigned to a different Sonus DJ who had a personal injury and Jason quickly stepped in and made our reception everything we could have asked for. ALL of our guests complimented the DJ, day of and the weeks following. Jason definitely delivered on our hopes of a true dance party with a good mix of the classics and our favorite/request - Atlanta Rap. We have been to sooo many weddings (you know, always the bridesmaid, never the bride... until now!) and our wedding reception was by far the best because of the DJ. Thanks again!

Thomas was a godsend for our wedding! Our original DJ with Sonus was injured and unable to remain our DJ, so Sonus provided Thomas as a replacement. The swap was smooth and low-stress. He set an excellent tone for the whole evening, was really heartfelt, and overall just a wonderful person (AND A GREAT DJ!) 10/10

Tommy was amazing! He did everything we asked and then some. He was even willing to stay later than originally booked, which I requested last minute and so appreciate. So many of my guests told me how awesome he was, and how great the music was. Everyone had a blast and Tommy played such a huge part in that. Easily the best DJ at any wedding I’ve ever been to. I would 100% book Tommy again if I had to do it over. We also booked the photobooth which was a huge hit. I also recommend!

Jillian was fantastic! From the initial meetings, through the prep calls, to the night of, she did an amazing job of planning out everything we wanted, helping us out on things we weren't sure about, and running the party when we got to the event! She was fully prepared and kept things fun and rocking! Like most receptions, we had a long list of things to get through, and she kept things moving and nailed all of them. She can do it all!

Jason and Dana exceeded expectations on our wedding day!
I will not lie, based on Sonus Planning website, I was a bit apprehensive at first. If you’re the type of bride/groom/event coordinator that doesn’t have a million songs you want played in only a few hours, you have nothing to worry about. Me however, I have very specific taste and songs I dreamed about hearing on my special day. With only 10 song slots available, how could I ever choose!? Jason made me feel confident that he would also accommodate songs from my Spotify playlist and… HE DID!
Jason and Dana were professional with a positive attitude AND experienced.
My (now) husband even had a surprise mom and son switch up song that Jason kept a secret!
Overall, I would recommend Sonus for any event to anyone! OH… And did I mention the free lighting!? Make sure you take advantage of booking within the allotted time to receive that perk. Because… WOW! EXCEEDED expectations!

Jillian Hamilton was amazing at my wife and I’s wedding October 1st of this year! She is very passionate of her work, energetic, flexible & an ally of the LGBTQ <3 She even helped Cue me walking down the isle as my brother and I goofed and froze as everyone from our party walked down the isle haha. My wife and I loved as well that she is a female working in the DJ industry!! We would 1,000% recommend her as a DJ & use her in our future for other events :)

DJ Jillian was simply the best! She made planning a breeze and was always available to answer our crazy questions we had. She was such a blast on our wedding day, and even joined in on a couple of dances to make sure everyone was having a great time on the dance floor! Jillian also was so inclusive with my wife and I being part of the LGBTQ+ community, she made us feel so welcome and was super accepting, which is something that was important to us when looking for wedding vendors. I couldn’t recommend SONUS Entertainment more, and more specifically DJ Jillian!!

Jillian was a superstar DJ!! The entire night she played all of our requested songs, incorporated songs to get the crowd on their feet, and even joined the dance floor with us several times!! All of our guests gave us great compliments on Jillian and we would highly recommend her DJ any future events! We had Emily as our DJ. She did ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. My friends & family are wild and like to DANCE!!! She kept the party going all night long! The website and online music forms are user friendly and super easy to fill out! They even were able to download a couple Special Requests songs that weren’t in their music library already. Jason is a family friend of my wife and had done her sister's wedding reception prior to ours. He is a phenomenal DJ and had all the details nailed down between his online form, zoom meeting, and brief chat at the beginning of the reception. We gave him a large amount of control on songs, just giving genres and a few examples. His choices were perfect and we all had an amazing time! He kept the energy up and people dancing for hours! Absolutely recommend them for any DJ need!

Jason did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding! He was prompt in scheduling our initial meeting and kept us updated on a timeline. Our venue had an upstairs where we had speeches and first dances, and a downstairs where the main dance floor was. Jason navigated this with ease and never missed a beat. He was informative, professional, and respectful when he spoke with each person about making speeches. Jason mixed our requests well with other dance songs. We got compliments from the waitstaff at the venue about how amazing our DJ was and our guests are still talking about the playlist!

While we received good customer service, but we didn’t feel quite the connection to our DJ as we had hoped. We weren’t quite sure of choosing our own music and we’re hoping for a bit more guidance and creativity from the DJ we were assigned. It felt like the music didn’t stray from the 20 songs we were required to add. In addition, we were notified several months after booking that the original DJ we were paired with was no longer with the company and we were assigned someone else. We felt as if we no longer had chosen our DJ and were fearful we would waste money if we canceled or tried to book a different vendor.

We absolutely loved Jillian's energy, professionalism, and eagerness to ensure that we were happy with her services, music selection, and order of the night. She was so helpful in making sure we were all on the same page from the very beginning all the way up to the wedding night, and even afterward! We actually had our first wedding cancelled back in 2020 due to covid but Sonus were there the whole time, and once we found a new date in 2022 they were ready like nothing changed! Jillian was our wedding DJ which was SUCH a blessing to us. Where do I even start? She brings such positive energy to every meeting, every email, and OF COURSE the big day! She is made to be a DJ. The music was incredible, and she kept the party popping. Beyond that, she keeps the whole night running so smoothly. We had a bridal party member test positive for COVID the day of, and I forgot to tell Jillian about the change. She picked up on it and ran with it. Also, Jillian is so sweet to work with. She got new earrings to wear to our wedding to coordinate with our colors. When one guest got too drunk and was *repeatedly* visiting the DJ table trying to convince Jillian to let him sing a song, Jillian handled it like a complete pro, and took care of the situation exactly as I would have wanted. Jillian is absolutely someone you want in your corner on your wedding day!
We also had the SONUS photo booth. I will admit, I was hesitant about whether it would be worth the money. It was ABSOLUTELY worth the money. It was full the entire night, and provided so much fun and GREAT memories. This was aided by the fact that Jillian's husband served as an incredible photo booth tech! We used this as our guestbook, and I love the way it turned out.
TLDR: Book Sonus. Request Jillian. Have excellent wedding.

We booked SONUS for our recent wedding and would 100% recommend that those who are planning their upcoming wedding do the same! We worked specifically with Ryan who was so nice and professional. Their planning forms make it simple to make sure you have every detail of ceremony and reception covered. They meet with you before the day of to make sure that they have everything exactly the way you envision it to be. He was there and set up hours before the ceremony started which I really appreciated because he had plenty of time to check everything and make sure there would be no technical errors. He played the best music and listened to what myself and my husband wanted. We had the best time partying the night away at our wedding and Ryan had a huge hand in making our wedding day the best!

I can't say enough amazing things about SONUS Entertainment and our DJ Ryan Jurden! Ryan was easy to communicate with and made the whole process so seamless. Everyone raved about the songs and how well the DJ handled the reception. We did the wedding shoe game and he played the actual game music and did an incredible job keeping the guests entertained. I had some really specific song requests and he was able to meet every single one! SONUS Entertainment also provided a photo booth with different backgrounds we could choose from and personalized photo reels for guests. Our photo booth attendant, Dana, made it so fun and easy for the guests to use. I recommend this company to everyone!!

For the wedding they even downloaded a ton of songs from a pretty obscure band that I love which was so nice and I was genuinely surprised with just how many there were! We had Ryan and his team DJ our wedding in June! Ryan and Danny were fantastic to work with. From the planning process all the way to the day of the wedding, they helped make the day run smooth. My favorite part was having a Zoom Meeting about our events few weeks before so that we could discuss the timeline and any important dances/songs we wanted to play. I would highly recommend!

Jason and his team were amazing. I was nervous because I had been to a previous wedding and the DJ was not good and I realized how crucial a good DJ was. Jason kept the party going and everyone had such a blast. I was more than impressed with everything that he did. Jason checked in with me multiple times throughout the night and made adjustments as we needed. He was friendly and very personable. We also booked a photobooth through his company which was a huge hit. Everyone had a great time and I know that Jason and his team had a huge part in my successful wedding. He was extremely responsive to all of our emails and was flexible for our call before the wedding.
