The Bamboo Gallery

So the Bamboo Gallery was perfect for our event. From the start, we wanted a laid-back, casual, outdoor wedding, and it is basically the tropical garden of your dreams. The water features, tiki, torches, and uplighting all give a real vibe at night, and it is truly enchanting. From the moment we saw it, we couldn’t stop thinking about it. By the time we were able to commit Rick, the venue owner, was extremely professional and accommodating. He really made our lives very easy and did everything to make this process as easy as possible, he was also great with communication. If you are honest and upfront with him, he will do his best to make your day and experience as easy as it can be. Even when I was planning With other vendors to come to bamboo anytime I mentioned Rick if they knew him, they sang his praises. The people who worked with him know how great he is to work with. And I planned my wedding there in less than six months! I changed in the treehouse area on the day, and it was nice, could use a bigger mirror, but it was a really nice place to retreat to when I just needed a moment or when we took a few moments after our ceremony to freshen up and relax for a couple minutes. So nice that it’s right there next to everything. In addition to Rick, everyone who is connected to this venue was great. I got great feedback about the shuttle service, the bartenders that come with the venue, the maintenance guy Ryan, who was present throughout our night and very helpful . I wouldn’t do your make up at this venue, just get your make up done in a hotel, or at your house, and then go to the venue because of the heat, I got married in early May and I would not have wanted to have my make up done there. I even had some unusual requests in regards to entertainment for our wedding and Rick was very accommodating. He did his best to make me happy and I’m forever grateful for that. As a bride, the costs involved in a wedding gave me anxiety during the whole planning process, and I think the best you can ask for is knowing that your venue and your coordinator have your back on the day and they’re going to do their best to make you feel comfortable. I absolutely felt that with Rick and his team and I really can’t think them enough because we had an amazing night. If you trust the right people they will do right by you. Thank you so much Rick! You and your team are amazing!!

As soon as my husband and I walked into The Bamboo Gallery, I knew it was the perfect spot for our wedding. I was so adamant about not having a stuffy wedding inside a banquet hall—I wanted something different and unique. And even though I knew we would be taking a bit of a risk with an all-outdoor venue (rain), I knew it was going to be so worth it. Rick, the venue manager, was so amazing from start to finish and he always answered my questions a timely manner. Compared to other venue managers, he just has this chill vibe about him that made us feel comfortable and that we were in good hands. One thing I really appreciated about him is that he would never try and upcharge us for things that you didn’t need. There were a few times where he even saved us money, and I think meeting people like that in the wedding industry is rare. Fast forward to our wedding and he and his team prepped the venue beautifully! Luckily it didn’t rain during our wedding, but it was raining the days leading up to it. But once we got there, there were no puddles, all the leaves were cleaned up off the turf and the venue looked immaculate. As the bride, you don’t really see what goes on behind the scenes, but my mom made a point to tell me how awesome and helpful Rick was the day of the wedding. The Bamboo Gallery is a hidden gem and I am so happy we decided to get married there. Guests are still talking about how beautiful and unique it was. I even had a guest tell me “I never want to go to a wedding in a banquet hall ever again!” I would highly recommend The Bamboo Gallery to anyone looking to host a wedding or event in hidden tropical oasis.

Had our wedding at the Bamboo Gallery January 2024 and it was a beautiful venue, all our questions were answered and concerns met and it was also affordable! There are so many hidden little nooks to explore and gorgeous photo opportunities. Rick was extremely supportive and helpful - especially as the risk of rain and storms loomed, getting us a tent last minute. The bartenders could use a little work with friendliness and mixing drinks but werent horrible by any means. We're cocktail people so we're a little particular. Overall we were extremely happy with our choice and to be married here. You won't regret it! BTW the DJ that regularly works the venue is AMAZING. Book DJ Willie without question. He MC's, he's funny, he keeps the event moving forwards, and is on point with the music.

We booked a year in advance. Rick answered all of our questions promptly, and he was very patient with our multitude of requests or questions. The venue was nature in its splendor. Guests came up to me and told me it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they've attended. We were able to host over 125 people comfortably. We were prepared for 140 with 14 round tables. The venue website does not do the place justice via photograph. We would suggest visiting early with permission when they are preparing an event to catch a glimpse of how the venue transforms. The venue is an open forum. My only advice in hindsight is to be wary of wedding crashers and to ensure appropriate security or monitoring at the venue for the number of people present. The fees include venue rental, dry bar, tent, and cleaning fee. They do not include the additional $330 we paid to the Davie Police Dept, which is required to rent the venue. Or the additional few hundreds we paid for the venue insurance. Those two additional fees will also need to be accounted for in the total cost.
