Amanda is the owner of The Maplewood Beauty Bar Salon for the last 3 years, but has 16 years of wedding and salon experience. This year she and her team won Missouri's Best Bridal salon for 2019 from Missouri Magazine, and have been nominated in St. Louis Magazine's A-List for top 10 salons ( the only boutique salon among the listed). Opening the Maplewood Beauty Bar Salon was always a dream of mine but never did i dream of the wedding success we have found. We have a great team who truly loves working with brides and bridal parties on not only their big day but leading up to it too!!

Amanda and her team are so easy to work with. I never considered hiring anyone else for hair, makeup and spray tans. They're kind, accommodating and were a calming force getting ready on wedding day.

I hired Amanda and her team to do hair and makeup for my June 5, 2021 wedding and everything was outstanding! All 11 of us that received services through The Maplewood Beauty Bar Salon had hair and makeup that stood flawlessly through 90 degree heat that day! I had them travel to where we were getting ready and they were on time and professional the whole time they were there. I did go to their salon for hair and makeup trials for myself and maid of honor and then again for a haircut and wedding hair trial for my mom. They were incredibly accommodating to my mom who has MS by helping her navigate around the salon and wearing masks the entire time they worked with us. Highly recommended to anyone planning a St. Louis wedding!

Maplewood Beauty Bar and the owner Amanda are AMAZING!! We used this team for hair, makeup, and tans for my wedding party and everyone looked perfect. Even our most hesitant girls ended up loving it all. Amanda also will go above and beyond to accommodate any special requests and make sure that your day is stress free. I cannot say enough good things about Maplewood Beauty Bar! I am so glad we went with such an awesome team of stylists!

For my wedding, Heather did hair and make up for me and my Maid of Honor. It was exactly what we wanted. The air brush make up lasted all day and still looked great even at the end of the day. Everyone was such a pleasure to work with. Thank you again!!

Amanda and Kristen are so talented. After seeing how beautiful my nieces looked at their weddings, my daughter knew she would only trust Amanda and Kristen to do all of the bridal party hair and makeup. I decided I'd join in as well. They are so experienced, professional, and fun! They can both handle stressful situations in the bridal suite while everyone is getting ready, eating, having pictures taken, and getting the bride ready. Their sense of humor, and ability to stay calm made everything more fun. We were all transformed into princesses for the day and just loved the experience and look they provided. We couldn't have done without you both! Thank you so much!

Amanda and Kristen are exactly the people you want doing your hair and makeup for your wedding day! They are both SO friendly, professional, punctual, and accommodating! Everyone got airbrush makeup, which was flawless all day and night! Amanda turned my hair into exactly what I was envisioning. It was a perfect "getting ready" morning!!!

Amanda was such a pleasure to work with! She styled my hair, my bridesmaids' hair, and my mother-in-law's hair. Everyone was so pleased with her work and we couldn't stop complimenting each other's hair throughout the day. Amanda is so kind to all of the people she works with and so receptive to what each client wants and makes sure that the client is pleased with her work on their hair. She is so talented in her art and efficient with her time. She had all six ladies finished in 2 1/2 hours on my wedding day! We were all so amazed with her work! I will certainly be returning for future events when I have to have my hair styled! :)

Maplewood Beauty Bar did hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. Amanda and her assistant did a fantastic job, came to us at our hotel, and the prices for hair and airbrush makeup were very reasonable. They were also on time and very efficient- they had all 8 of us done in about 3 hours! A beauty trial was included with my bridal hair and makeup (other stylists I looked into charged additional fees for this), and Amanda was great at achieving the look I wanted and finalizing everything during my trial so that I had less to think about on my wedding day. I highly recommend Amanda and her team, especially if you're looking for a stylist to come to you on your wedding day!

We used Maplewood Beauty Bar for hair/makeup for bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and bride (myself). The price was reasonable, they were right on time to the hotel, and they moved through quickly and efficiently. Everyone's hair and makeup turned out great. A little difficult to get a hold of Amanda via email for planning purposes, but otherwise a great experience!
