Toy Box Productions did a fantastic job for our wedding. Ian and his crew followed us the whole day, but we hardly noticed it and then this beautiful video just showed up! One of their most impressive feats was pulling together a "teaser" video by the morning after the wedding. We had a small wedding and had decided to go with a videographer so that our friends and family who couldn't attend ceremony would still be able to see our day. It meant so much to us that we were able to send the teaser to everyone that morning and share our experience. The staff are professional and timely and fun to engage with. They clearly want to get to know you and what you're looking for from the video, but they have the ability to go above and beyond your own vision. I've recommended them to my own friends and colleagues, and would encourage anyone looking for a videographer to meet with the Toy Box team!

We booked Toy Box Productions after finding them online and watching a few of their sample videos. Ian and his business partner Mark are very serious about creating unusual and interesting wedding videos. I had been reluctant to get a videographer after watching many long, boring wedding videos, but liked TBP's sample videos enough to book them. It was definitely one of the best vendor decisions we made! We met Ian in person prior to the wedding to make certain that they were a good fit for us and vice versa. Ian was very responsive to all communication and he and Kendall, one of his cameramen, showed up ahead of schedule the day of our wedding. They were both very kind and unobtrusive. They had an extremely long day shooting footage and remained patient and professional throughout the day. We booked the 'highlight' reel and are delighted with the results. Because we weren't certain how the video was going to turn out, we initially asked Ian to make the video 'private' online. After we saw the final results, we felt compelled to allow TBP to use it publically because of happy we were with it and we realised how much hard work went into the video. Our 6 minute video really captured our wonderful day and is really creative and well done. Additionally, people are actually willing to watch it because of the length and find it enjoyable and entertaining. There are not a lot of wedding videos you can say that about. We'd highly recommend TBP for any of your video needs. These guys are true artists! Thank you to Ian, Mark, and Kendall for all of your hard work.

Ian and Mark are exceptionally talented, hard working, and creative videographers. I work in the TV news business and received a recommendation for Toy Box from a trusted co-worker. Even as a tough critic with high expectations, they went above and beyond to deliver an amazing wedding video. Watch our video (Alan + Linh); it should be proof enough of the quality of their work (they even won an award for it!). On every count, they delivered a fantastic product. They were timely and responsive to all our pre-wedding planning needs. They took the initiative and even attended the bride's salon appointment on their own accord. During the wedding, they blended in seamlessly and captured all the needed shots. And their rates are very competitive for the amount of time, attention, and quality that goes into it. They are true professionals; don't let the fact that they're less established than the major companies deter you from working with them. In our view, it's really an advantage--they work harder, put more thought and attention into what they do, and create a truly unique product. They've earned these high ratings.

Toy Box Production did an amazing job capturing our day! The video not only captured the images but the emotions. They were there as soon as we started getting ready and had a camera following myself and my girls as well as a separate camera with the boys. I am usually very camera shy but they were so discreet that after the first 15 minutes I forgot they were there. They captured everything and edited in the most magical way that I still cry every time I watch it, although its only 4 months later. I also love being able to share the day with my friends and loved ones that couldn't be there without having to bore them through 30 minutes of akward ceremony tape. Ian and Mark at Toy Box Productions are true professionals, not to mention real gentlemen! My husband and I got married while Hurricane Irene was battering the East coast, and neither of these guys let it distract them from filming every special moment at our wedding and reception. Even when the rain and wind were at their worst (which really wasn't so bad in DC - the people who didn't come to my wedding because of the "hurricane" should get 1 star reviews) Ian and Mark stayed focused and captured the essence of our special day and our story. On top of this, Mark and Ian actually helped to keep me dry when I was getting in and out of our car! More than once, both of these guys stopped what they were doing to hold umbrellas for me and to help me maneuver myself (and my dress) into and out of the vehicle. They should get major props for that! So, long story short, I highly recommend Toy Box Productions. They did a fantastic job, and now I have lifelong memories of the best day of my life captured on video! Thank you, Mark and Ian!

I work in television so I know quality video and I highly recommend Toy Box Productions! It's a small business founded by two photographers with nearly two decades of experience shooting video. However, they're not your typical wedding videographers. Through a combination of lenses, camera techniques and pure skill Toy Box Productions made my wedding sparkle just as much on video as it did on my special day! They captured the ceremony and tradition of the day beautifully along with all of the special, intimate moments my husband and I will treasure for the rest of our lives. Toy Box Productions shot our wedding ceremony using three cameras so every angle was covered. They also shot and edited a highlight video of our special day set to the song of our choice. Because the videographers at Toy Box Productions are seasoned they knew how to capture all the right moments without getting in the way. My husband and wedding party hardly noticed they were there! Maybe the best part of my entire experience was the fact that the guys were amazingly easy to work with and very flexible! I dealt with several difficult vendors while planning my wedding and it was nice to know I didn't have to worry about the video. Two thumbs up for Toy Box Productions!
