Important Questions from The Knot

Best advice for to-be-weds?

Take the time at the beginning of your planning journey to write a wedding mission statement that clearly articulates your vision for your wedding day. Share it with your nearest and dearest so they understand what your priorities are. Include the atmosphere, experience and memories you want to create. This will help keep your decision making and budget on track throughout the planning process as you collectively work towards that vision.

What’s your all-time favorite wedding song?

LOVE by Joni Mitchell. My sister performed this musical rendition of the verse 1 Corinthians 13 at our wedding ceremony, as well as my sisters’ weddings. It has become a family tradition and is always a beautiful and memorable moment.

Dream celebrity wedding guest?

If I was planning a wedding now, it would have to be Silk Sonic’s Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars. These two always bring positive energy, a sense of humor, big smiles and good vibes.

Best wedding after party snack?

I think any type of comfort food, including mini-burgers and fries, grilled cheese and mac ‘n cheese, really hits the spot after hours of dancing.
