Dina is a Freelance Writer at The Knot Worldwide, with a particular focus on food, travel and relationships. She relishes learning and sharing information and ideas through her articles and recipes.
A Maryland native, Dina currently resides in the Connecticut suburbs of Manhattan with her husband and two children. She is passionate about deep conversations, podcasts and maintaining her Spotify playlist of house tunes. To balance out lots of time spent lifting weights and going on walks, she is constantly in search of the best donuts and matcha treats.
As a child, Dina dreamt of authoring books or hosting a talk show. After attending college and culinary school, she authored six cookbooks: Tasting Club, Williams-Sonoma New Flavors for Salad, Year-Round Slow Cooker, Meatless All Day, Mug Meals and The New Milks.
Along with writing books, Dina has been covering all aspects of lifestyle--including food, health, relationships, home, real estate, beauty and travel--for the past 20-plus years. In the course of her career, she’s reported on a kaiseki meal in Tokyo, taste-tested nearly 200 gelatos and canvassed sex and relationship researchers on the secrets of love.
Dina graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University, where she studied Anthropology and English Literature. She also received a professional culinary arts degree from The Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan.
