A Beautiful Sound DJ & Live Music

Sam was an incredible DJ for our wedding in Olympic Valley. He was extremely helpful and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. My wife and I had a very rough and vague idea of what we wanted, but lacked any specifics. Sam and his expertise helped translate our vague idea into an amazing night for us. He helped us a lot with working through the flow of the night, song selection for our ceremony, and song selection / vibe for the dance floor. The end result was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better time on our dance floor. We also received a lot of comments from our guests about how fun the dance floor was. That was something we really wanted for our guests, so it meant a lot to us that Sam was able to deliver that. His guitar performance during our ceremony was perfect as well. It was a really nice addition to the ceremony. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding, and Sam was a big part of that. We’re so grateful for all of Sam’s help and everything that he brought to our big day.

Our wedding day couldn't have gone better thanks to A Beautiful Sound DJ. After finding Sam on Wedding Wire we connected virtually. While meeting with him it was clear his professionalism and expertise were needed for our specific needs on our special day. He set up other times to meet to ensure he captured the vibe and flow of our day. The day of he was on time and ready to go, he played live for the ceremony and cocktail hour which we received several compliments for, which says a lot coming from a family of musicians and hula dancers. During the speeches we requested specific Hawaiian music and an additional program of hula dancing by my family that he had que'd up in advance. When it was time for dancing Sam played close attention to people on the dance floor noticing genre's that kept people moving. His song selections were spot on, he was able keep the party going with his song selections while weaving in songs we had requested prior. Overall we are so grateful we chose A Beautiful Sound DJ, our day was magical and Sam and his team played a huge role in it. We would recommend A Beautiful Sound DJ's to anyone that needs someone with a music background, reliable, and who just really cares about the flow and success of your wedding.

We met with Sam from "A Beautiful Sound" and immediately hit it off in our first meeting. We were excited to book him for our wedding in Tahoe, and he was quick to respond to any of our questions and requests as our wedding day approached. A Beautiful Sound has a wide selection of entertainment packages, and we were able to find exactly what we were looking for, which was a live guitarist for our ceremony, and a DJ for our cocktail hour and reception. Leading up to the wedding day, we filled out a form to tell Sam about some of our song requests, and the overall musical vibe we were looking for throughout the night. I'm a DJ myself and my musical taste can get a bit obscure, so when I was filling this out, I really felt like I was throwing Sam some curve balls with some of my selections. I really didn't expect him to be able work some of these songs into the night, but he did, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! He kept the dance floor alive all night! Even before the dance party began, during the cocktail hour, and dinner hour, I couldn't help but notice that the music in the background was constantly impressing me, and it really felt like the music was personalized specifically for my wife and I. I should mention that Sam was also our guitarist for our ceremony. He had a nice list of songs to choose from and he even offered to learn a song for us, which my wife took him up on for her big ceremony entrance song! One thing that was also incredible was that when Sam heard I was a DJ myself, he offered to let me take over the decks at some point in the night if I wanted to. Well, many of my guests were kind of expecting me to take over at some point, so that's what I did! The opportunity to do a little DJ set at my own wedding for my guests was amazing! After putting Sam back on the decks to finish the night off, we danced until the venue shut down. I had many guests tell me how much they enjoyed the music throughout the night, starting with the live guitar at the ceremony, all the way through the late night dance party! Sam set a great tone for our entire wedding day and impressed me with his ability to pick the right songs at the right time. After months of planning and preparation, we could not have asked for a better night, and Sam was a big part of that!
