I have performed hundreds of wedding ceremonies over the years and look forward to helping you create an unforgettable and individualized experience. I started performing weddings when I was the Mayor of Hamilton, Ohio, from the mid-1980s through 2002. After leaving office, I continued to receive many requests to perform services, so I became an ordained minister. I do this because I enjoy it, not solely as a business venture. We are ranked #1 in Ohio! We added two ministers recently to help more couples.

We were beyond impressed with Adolfo and his work. From the first phone call, Adolfo was professional, kind, and adaptive! We were able to create a beautiful custom ceremony with ease. His script had so many personal directions and choices. He was very easy to get ahold of and communicate with and I never had a moment of confusion that was not immediately addressed. We ran into a few issues on my wedding day and Adolfo was right there to help us rearrange a few plans, offered to do a private ceremony, provided a script, and had taken care of paperwork before anyone had even noticed!! I will recommend Adolfo to anyone I know getting married in the future.

Adolfo was wonderful to work with and we're so glad he was our officiant for the big day! We had a very small courthouse wedding, and Adolfo made it such a special event, moreso than we would have imagined. Adolfo was quick to respond to our initial inquiry and was organized and punctual. He even wrote a custom speech for us, incorporating elements that were important to both of us, transforming our simple courthouse wedding from a simple paperwork exercise to a beautiful event we'll treasure. If we do decide to have a larger ceremony for our family and friends in the future, we will absolutely work with Adolfo again!

DO NOT USE. He is trying to get a pay check not make your day special. He uses the same copy and paste for every couple and does not attend rehearsal. Not to mention, he gets ocd if you don’t respond to his email days later while you’re on vacation and your wedding is a year away. We fired him for several reasons! Do not go with.

family member instead. You are also our first-ever couple to give us less than five stars. I wish you all the best and know our hundreds of other couples will have different feelings. All my couples know up-front that we do not attend rehearsals. After over 1300 weddings, we do not need it, nor the extra costs involved. We give all the instructions you might need for it, and we lower our price considerably as a result. I guess the most upsetting part to me is that you went months without responding to my email questions, and then, instead of talking to me about your concerns, you replied untruthfully. For those of you reading this review, let me share with you two messages from this couple during the time I was working with them. On 9/4/24, they wrote: "We have heard great things about you from Marmalade Lily as well as from our wedding coordinator, Narnia! I would love to see if you are available for our date? And if so, I would love to connect with you." On 1/6/25. they wrote: "I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to inform you of a change we’ve made regarding the officiant for our wedding. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to have a close family friend officiate the ceremony instead. We want to express our sincere gratitude for your time and willingness to be part of our special day. This decision was not made lightly, and we deeply appreciate your understanding. Thank you again for all your support. We truly value your kindness and wish you all the best" Thank you.

Adolfo and his team were amazing! I put my husband in charge of hiring our officiant, and it wasn’t until we sat down for our meeting did I realize he actually officiated our friends wedding a few years ago, from that moment on I was sold. Adolfo was on top of everything, and was quick to respond to any emails we sent. I loved our ceremony, it was perfect and we received many compliments on it!

Adolfo is incredibly professional, punctual, and skilled as a communicator. We knew exactly what to expect at every step of the process and were always informed of next action items. Seth and Adolfo, from A Wedding Your Way, worked to make our backyard wedding ceremony exactly what we wanted. Adolfo made the planning and personalization of our ceremony very easy and enjoyable and tailored everything to fit with our personalities and the vision that we had for the ceremony. On the day of our wedding, Seth made the ceremony meaningful and unique and everything was seamless. I had several guests tell me how much they loved the ceremony and that they were extremely impressed with Seth. Adolfo made our ceremony perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests about him as our officiant. He far surpassed our expectations in every way, delivering a perfectly customized ceremony and executing it flawlessly! Adolfo was warm, funny, professional, and prompt. He went over everything with us before we started our ceremony and even walked us through the process of getting our marriage license, which was so helpful, he also takes care of all paperwork following the ceremony to ensure everything goes smoothly. Adolfo was wonderful to work with start to finish. Very thorough when helping you determine what kind of ceremony you would like to have, open to any requests that you have. I got too excited and planned my ceremony too early in my long engagement so as my wedding approached, I began to second guess a lot of my decisions and things changed in our lives so the old ceremony he and I worked on together was out of date. He was kind enough to make changes in our ceremony for my indecisive self, I believe, three times after the final draft was completed, and didn’t make me feel like I was annoying him at all! He met with me before the ceremony to make sure that the final script was okay, he was so helpful and kind to my younger brother playing our music by meeting with him to make sure he understood his cues. Moving out of the way for the first kiss! There is not a thing this man didn’t think of. A huge number of my guests were asking where I found him, as they loved listening to his ceremony so much, and several described it as the best ceremony they had ever been to. He was patient and encouraging as my husband fumbled through his Spanish vows, as we wanted a bilingual vow ceremony. Not to mention his wife taking several beautiful pictures for us to have next day while waiting on our professional pictures to come back! This is an amazing thing for them to do for their couples. I would highly recommend Adolfo to anyone!!

We worked with Adolfo and Seth to plan our ceremony and it was phenomenal. They were both so pleasant to talk with! The process was very easy - Adolfo gave us plenty of options to choose from to make the ceremony exactly what we wanted. Seth was the one who performed our ceremony and it was nice to see his friendly face beforehand when we were handing off our marriage license. We received so many compliments about the ceremony on the day; we loved it and so did all the guests. It had so many personal touches and it was perfect. This is a team of true professionals. Picking an officiant was something that I had no idea how to approach. I found Adolfo with "A Wedding Your Way" after some searching and reached out. Adolfo's communication was prompt and genuine and made it easy for us to say yes to him marrying us. We had several check-ins leading up to the wedding day which eased my planning nerves and made me feel so comfortable that the ceremony would be PERFECT. Also being emailed the ceremony script helped to prepare us for what was to come during the ceremony. Adolfo put so much thought into our script and even surprised us with a portion of it after we were asked to select one word that described my husband and I's relationship. The ceremony was exactly what I imagined and we couldn't be happier. Adolfo was able to send us beautiful photos of the ceremony which was an amazing added bonus. I cannot recommend "A Wedding Your Way" enough!

Adolfo was exactly what we were looking for! We were in need of a bilingual officiant and we were very fortunate to find Adolfo. Adolfo is very professional and organized. Adolfo really listened to what we wanted to include in our ceremony. As an added bonus, Adolfo's wife came along with him and took the sweetest pictures of our ceremony. Adolfo and his wife definitely deserve more than five stars!!

My now husband and I are pregnant and due to have our baby very soon. We decided we wanted to be married before he arrived. I found Adolfo quickly on this page, his reviews were great. I reached out to him a few weeks before the date I was requesting. He responded within a timely manner and said he could marry us the day I wanted but that it would be early on in the day as he had another wedding that afternoon, which was fine by us! He came to our home. It was a quick, simple, but beautiful 5 minute ceremony with just my husband and I. I couldn’t recommend him more if I wanted. His wife came along to take pictures free of charge and we had them back an hour after they left! We will also be using him for our “legitimate” ceremony in a couple years, hoping he will be available then! Thanks to Adolfo and his wife! 10/10 ❤️

Adolfo was wonderful. From the first conversation we had with him we knew he was who we wanted to perform our service. He took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple and came up with the perfect service to fit our needs. He is punctual, professional and extremely prepared. We are so grateful to A Wedding Your Way and Adolfo for creating a ceremony that was so perfectly us. We truly couldn't have dreamed of a better person to trust to marry us. My husband is from Mexico and I am from California and he listened and blended our cultures in the ceremony, added some espanol, and the importance of family to us. Adolfo made our ceremony absolutely perfect! He is very professional, kind and funny. I was nervous during ceremony but adolfo made us comfortable and easy to get through. Our ceremony turned out well above what we ever could’ve expected, we decided on everything that was going to be in there and it was lovely but the special gift word surprise put it over the top. Very well spoken and emotional, all our guests that we talked to at the reception had such high praises for Adolfo saying how beautiful the ceremony was. We are overjoyed with everything Adolfo did for us for our wedding and couldn’t be more thankful. 6/5 Stars could not recommend enough!

Adolfo was terrific in all facets. He was on time, making sure to have everything in place for our big day. He commanded the room and brought all attention towards the ceremony, where he was well prepared. The ceremony was everything we wanted and more. Adolfo was absolutely wonderful for my wedding. He worked with us when we had to change somethings around due to bridal party not being able to attend the wedding. Everything was perfect. Adolfo was wonderful. His experience really shines from the initial meeting all the way through to the ceremony. We are still getting compliments on how much everyone enjoyed the ceremony. Getting to see the photos of the ceremony the day after is a really nice touch. It takes several weeks to get your wedding photos back, having these right after is a detail we really appreciate.

Adolfo was the perfect choice of officiant. His whole planning process makes it easy for you to input to a ceremony that reflects you and your partner. He was diligent, timely and professional in all communication, and made several rounds of edits to our ceremony (given we had a 2 year engagement). Best of all, his amazing wife took photos of our entire ceremony and our reception decor, which allowed us to relive the day before we got any sneak peeks back from our photographer. Highly recommend!

Adolfo made our ceremony absolutely perfect! We wanted Disney incorporated into our ceremony and wow did he deliver! He was very organized, on time and detailed oriented. He did everything he could to make sure our ceremony was perfect and the way we wanted it to be. We received Soooo many compliments on how beautiful our ceremony was. The words were meaningful and sincere. In short it was everything we could have wished for and more. I highly recommend him you will not be disappointed!!
