Based out of Baton Rouge, LA, Cierra English Photography captures tender celebrations of love. This photographer is deeply passionate about bringing your wedding to life through photojournalistic and traditional imagery. A painter as well as a photographer, this professional strives to preserve the timeless memories that you will treasure forever. Owner Cierra English has always been passionate about the arts, an interest that shaped her and brought her to a career in photography. She believes that pictures have the unique power to tell a story that people across all languages and cultural backgrounds can understand. For over five years, she has been narrating these timeless stories with her camera and helping to create a universal language of love. Cierra English Photography’s wedding packages include four, six, or eight hours coverage depending on your needs and budget. Afterward, you will receive high-resolution digital images with the option to order prints and a photo album. Outside of nuptials, this photographer also shoots engagements, maternity sessions, senior portraits, and more to celebrate all of life’s momentous occasions.

being that I was planning a New Orleans wedding from Texas! Once we hired her, I didn’t have to think about photography again until we met on the day of our wedding celebration. It was all such an easy and reassuring process! Cierra’s work is amazing; she pays attention to detail, is respectful of guests, and is very efficient with timing. I’m not the most photogenic person, but she helped to put me at ease with her kind words and suggestions and I just love her for that. Mike and I have large families with expressive personalities (to say the least), but Cierra was so patient and did an amazing job with capturing family photos. She also captured so many great candid shots that reflected all the important and memorable moments throughout the evening! I was a little worried about the low lighting in our reception venue, but once we received the photographs from Cierra, I clearly had nothing to worry about. She ensured that the lighting in all the photographs was perfect and they all looked amazing! We loved working with Cierra and would not hesitate to recommend her to any of our friends or family!

HI I’M CIERRA! I was born in Monroe, La, grew up some and then made my way to Baton Rouge La. Sometime after that I became completely obsessed with art and creating art. I still love and create till this day, however that love of art blossomed into something even better.. A love for photography! I received my BFA in photography at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and received my MBA some years later. In that time I learned a lot about myself as a person and as a photographer, like what excites me most, and how to create personable experiences for my clients.
