We used Crossing Midnight's Eclipse DJ/Band hybrid and they were absolutely fantastic! We were torn on what type of entertainment to use because we love a wide range of music that a DJ can offer but also wanted the feel of a band and live instruments. Eclipse truly delivered the perfect hybrid and was able to play all of the music we wanted with that live instrument component. Genesis and Rudy were absolutely delightful to work with throughout the planning process and night of, all of our requests and notes were taken into account and played throughout the night while reading the vibe of the party and guests. Eclipse made the party an absolute blast and tons of guests told my husband and I as well as our families how great they were - I would highly recommend working with Crossing Midnight for your wedding entertainment!

They had an innate understanding of the minute to minute and song to song demands of the wedding reception. At every turn they were able to anticipate the energy of the moment and pair it with the music that would help bring that moment to perfect fruition.

INCREDIBLE!! Rudy and Eclipse blew us away! My husband and I first learned about Crossing Midnight when my brother and sister in law booked the live band for their wedding in July of 2021 - they were incredible! We wanted just as an amazing experience but with a DJ instead of live band. We reached out to the Crossing Midnight team and found Eclipse; DJ / Live Instrument combo and it was the best decision ever!! We danced the night away as the brass instrument players swept around the room boosting the music and the fun! Eclipse truly is the best of both world and having Rudy as the MC made our evening perfect! From our pre-wedding meeting with Rudy and Genesis they made sure we had everything we needed, gave us hints for a seamless big day and more. I could not say enough wonderful things about this group and this business; and either can our guests! Thank you Eclipse, Rudy and Genesis for everything!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! If I could give a billion stars, I would. I am not exaggerating when I say that every person at our wedding approached us after to tell us how amazing the band was. My husband and I knew they were going to be good based on their reviews and videos on their website, but they were far beyond what we were expecting. The manager Genesis was incredibly thoughtful and helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. They were the only vendor that was continuously checking in to see how wedding planning was going & see if we needed anything. This continued on our wedding day! They were always making sure we were doing good and having the most memorable time. Every single band member is so incredibly talented and energetic. They are hands down the best wedding band out there!

My wedding was 09.24.22 and we booked Crossing Midnight Entertainment for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. From the planning process, to the big day they were by far the highlight of our wedding. Genesis & Rudys communication was effective and consistent, checking in several times throughout the year and a half prior to the wedding. They treated us as if our wedding was as important to them as it was to us. The day went FLAWLESSLY! All of our guests raved that the party didn’t stop. DJ E had a perfect variety of genres and kept the dance floor full the entire time. We opted for Zap photos and the commitment from the photographer to capture our moments is something to be applauded. We all know photographers take a while to return photos so having Live Photos from our day has been incredible. I cannot say enough wonderful things about CME! Thank you for making our day magical, for every function you may have I 10/10 RECOMMEND BOOKING CME!!!!

Genesis, Rudy, and their team helped make our event perfect!!! They offer many packages for their band and DJ services that fit any budget, and they really work with you to make sure you get everything you want! We decided to go the DJ route, and added on a saxophone player, and also a violinist and cellist for our ceremony. I’ve also been to weddings that used Crossing Midnight’s band and they’re phenomenal! About 6 months out from our date, Genesis would send monthly emails checking in and offering any assistance! We got so many compliments day of and since, and I highly recommend them!!

Hands down, this group made our wedding AMAZING and unforgettable. We had three future brides try to cancel their entertainment and book them for their own weddings. We also had two couples ask for their contact information! Everyone was blown away by how they got everyone on the dance floor, played different types of music, and simply got the party going! Rudy was an amazing MC and we felt so connected with the group through our emails and meetings leading up to the wedding. I cannot recommend Crossing Midnight Entertainment enough. I told all my friends we have to throw a party just so we can enjoy their music again!

CME was a fantastic team to work with, made our wedding day so special, and had us all dancing all night! We do wish the DJ played more music from our list of requests they had us submit, but we were all on the dance floor all night anyway!

We booked Crossing Midnight for our November 2021 wedding and it was the best decision we ever made! They were the wow factor of the whole night and our guests were amazed by their talent and how fantastic they were! I had very high expectations for them and they were definitely exceeded! They are more than just a band, they are entertainers. We made sure that they were going to be available before we even booked a wedding date. Rudy and Genesis were a pleasure to work with and took all the stress out of making sure the night would be perfect. We met with them about a month before the wedding to discuss all the details and they calmed all my nerves. They kept the crowd on the dance floor for the entire night and played genres for all ages! They have a way of connecting with the crowd, which made me so relieved as the bride to know all my friends and family were having a great time. The energy levels were high the whole night and nobody wanted the party to end! They did such a wonderful job, my sister is planning to use them for her wedding next year.

When we had to move our wedding a year due to Covid, Crossing Midnight was the first vendor I checked with to see if they were available for our new wedding date. We had never even saw them play live, just videos. But, if you have even the shortest conversation with Rudy or Genesis at CME, you will realize that you are working with the absolute BEST entertainment company in the business. Ever. Their communication is top notch, they make you feel like family, and their talent is unbelievable. It’s been over a month since my Wedding, and people keep bringing Crossing Midnight up to me. Whether it was how beautiful the pianist played during the ceremony, or how fun the photobooth was, or how amazing it was when the saxophonist jumped off the stage and danced with the crowd. The 9-piece band MADE our Wedding. Rudy’s talent is unparalleled – he sings everything from Louis Armstrong to Journey. The three female singers were beyond incredible. We sobbed during “I hope you dance”, and tore the dance floor up during “Proud Mary”. There was never an issue of feedback or volume, as Rudy’s team is on the floor the whole night making sure the sound is always perfect. There was also NEVER a break of music. When band members took breaks, they always made sure that the other band members were still playing music. At one point my fiancé looked at me and said: ‘Are we at a concert? This is amazing.’ Crossing Midnight isn’t a “wedding band”. They are a BAND. They could sell out Madison Square Garden and have everyone on their feet the entire night. If that sounds like an exaggeration, ask any one of my 170 guests from my wedding. From my 10-year-old cousin, to my 90-year-old grandma – every single person raved about Crossing Midnight. I cannot thank Rudy, Genesis, and the entire team enough. They were more than I could ever dream of.

WOW! I have to say the scariest vendor by far to book for our dream wedding was the music. The music at a wedding is so imperative for the vibe and pretty much makes or breaks how fun a wedding is (besides the people you fill it with). DJ E and Rudy KILLED IT! Everyone has been talking about what a party it was. Only complaints from people were sore feet from not sitting the entire night and being on the dance floor. Genesis was so lovely throughout the whole process and was always checking in on us and available if we had any questions. We gave a laundry list of must plays and do not plays and DJ E really hit the nail on the head. Everyone had a blast.

All I have to say is OMG!!! Having Crossing Midnight as our band for our wedding was THE BEST decision we made. We chose the 9-peice band with the brass and I'm so happy we included them because it made the night extra spectacular. Rudy, the band leader and Genesis, the head of events, were incredibly helpful leading up the wedding day - we sat down going into every single detail of the evening discussing song choices, flow, special moments we wanted to include and it all flowed seamlessly the day of. Rudy made himself very available, as I had lots of one-off questions. The ceremony was perfect and sweet, they even got us a violinist which I had requested very last minute. Rudy and all his sound technicians were there to test and make sure all the sound worked perfectly, and it did! For the reception, EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, came up to us at the end of the night and said that Crossing Midnight was the most incredible wedding band they had ever heard. All 150 of our guests were dancing all night because they played every genre of music, people from ages 23 to 85 years old were dancing. My dad plays the drums occasionally and they even let him join in to play for a few songs which was awesome. Rudy and the whole band is INCREDIBLY talented and had so much vibrant energy that it made the wedding extra special. I loved that they interacted with the crowd too. My husband and I barely left the dancefloor, we didn't want the music to end. I would HIGHLY recommend Crossing Midnight for your wedding band, I would hands-down book them again for another event!!!

Booking Crossing Midnight was a no brainer for my husband and I. We first met with Rudy (the lead singer) and Genesis (Head of event specialists) back in February of 2020 and we knew in that moment we would book them. The whole band is amazingly talented and truly come together to perform the most epic wedding. If you want your dance floor full the entire night book them asap! Almost every wedding guests came up to me and my husband to compliment the band and tell us how much fun they were having because of them. They are also extremely easy to work with. Genesis is always there for you if you have any questions and is extremely responsive. I can't recommend or thank this group enough!

My husband and I first saw Crossing Midnight perform at my cousin’s wedding in March 2019, just a few weeks after we had gotten engaged. Although we hadn’t even booked our wedding yet, we both immediately knew that we needed to hire Crossing Midnight as our wedding band. Before we even signed the contract for our venue, we contacted Crossing Midnight to make sure that they were available for that date and thankfully they were! From the onset, Genesis and Rudy were incredible to work with. They were (and still are) incredibly responsive. Even though we were almost two years out from our May 1, 2021 wedding, both Genesis and Rudy continued to reach out to check in on us and we even managed to watch them perform again at a bar in January 2020, right before COVID hit. In January of 2021, when we made the decision to proceed with a 50-person “micro wedding” on May 1st and postpone our 300-person reception to March 2022, both Rudy and Genesis were right there beside us, being as kind and compassionate as ever. After a Zoom session with the two of them, we made the decision to push our 10-piece band contract to our March 2022 reception date and we signed another contract with them for DJ E on May 1st. We had never seen DJ E in action but had faith based on the relationship we had built with the Crossing Midnight family, that he was going to be great. Fast forward to May 1st and not only was DJ E great, but he was exceptional! The entire night he played a wide range of music and the dance floor was so packed that you never would have known there were only 50 guests at the wedding. Our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had out on the dance floor. It takes a lot to surprise me but Rudy and Genesis managed to do that. I started crying when I walked into the ballroom at Captain Bills and saw both Rudy and Genesis there. They were with us the entire night and made it even more special than I could have imagined. Choosing Crossing Midnight was one of the best wedding decisions we made and we are so grateful that we will get to have them be a part of our larger celebration in March 2022 (and even at my brother’s wedding in May 2022). If you’re looking for quality entertainment by a class act (whether it’s a DJ or a band), you NEED to hire the Crossing Midnight family. There is no other crew out there quite like them!

Crossing Midnight Entertainment was great from the start of our relationship to the end of the evening. Rudy was professional, organized, friendly, courteous and extremely kind from our first contact and delivered on every aspect of our agreement in the time frames promised. The Crossing Midnight Entertainment team is a great energetic team that worked cohesively together and entertained our guest from the time they entered the event until the end. All my guests complimented the DJ and the team, making comments...."they play the music we like...these guys are great...Rudy is a gifted singer and the crowd loves him". I would rate Crossing Midnight Entertainment as a 10 on your 5 star scale. They delivered more than I expected.

I highly recommend crossing midnight! Their whole team is amazing. I worked with Genesis to reschedule my wedding 3x and they couldn’t be easier going. No matter how many times I changed the date or the music I was going for, they were always easy to work with and understanding. Last minute I changed my micro wedding from Rudy and a guitarist to DJ E at Rudy’s suggestion since we found out we were allowed to dance. DJ E was awesome and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Rudy still attended and mc’d. The whole night was a huge success thanks to crossing midnight! I can’t wait for my big wedding in September where Rudy and his whole band will perform.

Due to COVID, we had to change our wedding plans drastically, from the time of the day, to the location, guest list, food, the list goes on. The stress and uncertainties that comes from planning a wedding during these unprecedented times added to the already hectic planning. We originally were planning to have CME for DJ and photo booth but because of the changes, went with photo booth only. So unfortunately, we didn't get to experience the awesome music and dancing but what I want to highlight is their professionalism and attentiveness. From the beginning, Rudy and Genesis were so helpful and kind. We were overwhelmed with planning but they walked us through all the options patiently and answered every question we had. Genesis answered every email within a couple of hours and would apologize if she couldn't get back to us within the same day! Some of our vendors we had to chase and follow up multiple times to get an answer but not Genesis. When we were considering options on changing the wedding details because of COVID, they worked with us and gave us all options without going in circles. Of all the vendors we had, we were confident in CME the most and that's no exaggeration. The photo booth was beautiful, well-prepared, and proved to be a highlight during the smaller reception. The attendants were so kind and helpful to our parents who do not speak perfect English. I can't thank Rudy, Genesis, and the attendants enough for the wonderful wedding and the photos we have. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and I'm so glad we had CME as a vendor. I recommend them wholeheartedly and they'll be the first on the list when our friends ask. Thank you again!

Crossing Midnight was AMAZING!!!!!!! I had DJ E and he rocked the house! We also had a photo booth (a must have). DJ E played everything we requested and then some. Music never stopped. From the beginning to final moments of the night the fun was brought with DJ E's energy and skill to read the crowd. The photo booth added such a touch to the day. During the party everyone can come and take a photo that they can take home, and it just brought it all home. Thank you to CME from DJ E, Rudy, and Genesis. I highly recommended!!!!! HIRE THEM you will not disappointed.
