Their communication is top notch, they make you feel like family, and their talent is unbelievable. It’s been over a month since my Wedding, and people keep bringing Crossing Midnight up to me. Whether it was how beautiful the pianist played during the ceremony, or how fun the photobooth was, or how amazing it was when the saxophonist jumped off the stage and danced with the crowd. The 9-piece band MADE our Wedding. Rudy’s talent is unparalleled – he sings everything from Louis Armstrong to Journey. The three female singers were beyond incredible. We sobbed during “I hope you dance”, and tore the dance floor up during “Proud Mary”. There was never an issue of feedback or volume, as Rudy’s team is on the floor the whole night making sure the sound is always perfect. There was also NEVER a break of music. When band members took breaks, they always made sure that the other band members were still playing music. At one point my fiancé looked at me and said: ‘Are we at a concert? This is amazing.’ Crossing Midnight isn’t a “wedding band”. They are a BAND. They could sell out Madison Square Garden and have everyone on their feet the entire night. If that sounds like an exaggeration, ask any one of my 170 guests from my wedding. From my 10-year-old cousin, to my 90-year-old grandma – every single person raved about Crossing Midnight. I cannot thank Rudy, Genesis, and the entire team enough. They were more than I could ever dream of.

Rudy KILLED IT! Everyone has been talking about what a party it was. Only complaints from people were sore feet from not sitting the entire night and being on the dance floor. Genesis was so lovely throughout the whole process and was always checking in on us and available if we had any questions. We gave a laundry list of must plays and do not plays and DJ E really hit the nail on the head. Everyone had a blast.

nd leader and Genesis, the head of events, were incredibly helpful leading up the wedding day - we sat down going into every single detail of the evening discussing song choices, flow, special moments we wanted to include and it all flowed seamlessly the day of. Rudy made himself very available, as I had lots of one-off questions. The ceremony was perfect and sweet, they even got us a violinist which I had requested very last minute. Rudy and all his sound technicians were there to test and make sure all the sound worked perfectly, and it did! For the reception, EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, came up to us at the end of the night and said that Crossing Midnight was the most incredible wedding band they had ever heard. All 150 of our guests were dancing all night because they played every genre of music, people from ages 23 to 85 years old were dancing. My dad plays the drums occasionally and they even let him join in to play for a few songs which was awesome. Rudy and the whole band is INCREDIBLY talented and had so much vibrant energy that it made the wedding extra special. I loved that they interacted with the crowd too. My husband and I barely left the dancefloor, we didn't want the music to end. I would HIGHLY recommend Crossing Midnight for your wedding band, I would hands-down book them again for another event!!!

dnight as our wedding band. Before we even signed the contract for our venue, we contacted Crossing Midnight to make sure that they were available for that date and thankfully they were! From the onset, Genesis and Rudy were incredible to work with. They were (and still are) incredibly responsive. Even though we were almost two years out from our May 1, 2021 wedding, both Genesis and Rudy continued to reach out to check in on us and we even managed to watch them perform again at a bar in January 2020, right before COVID hit. In January of 2021, when we made the decision to proceed with a 50-person “micro wedding” on May 1st and postpone our 300-person reception to March 2022, both Rudy and Genesis were right there beside us, being as kind and compassionate as ever. After a Zoom session with the two of them, we made the decision to push our 10-piece band contract to our March 2022 reception date and we signed another contract with them for DJ E on May 1st. We had never seen DJ E in action but had faith based on the relationship we had built with the Crossing Midnight family, that he was going to be great. Fast forward to May 1st and not only was DJ E great, but he was exceptional! The entire night he played a wide range of music and the dance floor was so packed that you never would have known there were only 50 guests at the wedding. Our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had out on the dance floor. It takes a lot to surprise me but Rudy and Genesis managed to do that. I started crying when I walked into the ballroom at Captain Bills and saw both Rudy and Genesis there. They were with us the entire night and made it even more special than I could have imagined. Choosing Crossing Midnight was one of the best wedding decisions we made and we are so grateful that we will get to have them be a part of our larger celebration in March 2022 (and even at my brother’s wedding in May 2022). If you’re looking for quality entertainment by a class act (whether it’s a DJ or a band), you NEED to hire the Crossing Midnight family. There is no other crew out there quite like them!

to the already hectic planning. We originally were planning to have CME for DJ and photo booth but because of the changes, went with photo booth only. So unfortunately, we didn't get to experience the awesome music and dancing but what I want to highlight is their professionalism and attentiveness. From the beginning, Rudy and Genesis were so helpful and kind. We were overwhelmed with planning but they walked us through all the options patiently and answered every question we had. Genesis answered every email within a couple of hours and would apologize if she couldn't get back to us within the same day! Some of our vendors we had to chase and follow up multiple times to get an answer but not Genesis. When we were considering options on changing the wedding details because of COVID, they worked with us and gave us all options without going in circles. Of all the vendors we had, we were confident in CME the most and that's no exaggeration. The photo booth was beautiful, well-prepared, and proved to be a highlight during the smaller reception. The attendants were so kind and helpful to our parents who do not speak perfect English. I can't thank Rudy, Genesis, and the attendants enough for the wonderful wedding and the photos we have. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and I'm so glad we had CME as a vendor. I recommend them wholeheartedly and they'll be the first on the list when our friends ask. Thank you again!

During the party everyone can come and take a photo that they can take home, and it just brought it all home. Thank you to CME from DJ E, Rudy, and Genesis. I highly recommended!!!!!
